Just stole my sisters kalimba and idk how to use it. Can I just look up regular sheet music in the key of the kalimba and use that to transcribe?

My daughter, who is 14.5 years old has always despised performing. She has high-functioning autism but I have never told her that. I am not sure if that affects it. Every time her piano and violin teacher suggest her to perform somewhere or participate in competitions, she straight away says no. If I insist, it usually results in a (few hours long) meltdown. I genuinely believe that these performances and competitions is an incentive to improvement in playing.
Today is the second last piano lesson before a student concert. The teacher talked about how everyone would be looking at her, and my daughter burst into tears and acted grumpily for the rest of the lesson. I was so embarrassed. Performing is what most people her age do and at least accept if not enjoy it. I seriously hope she can be more like other normal kids and not make a fuss out of it. She even wants to quit music because of performing, not treasuring her gift in music. I don't want her to quit because co-curricular commitment is important, and she was born uncoordinated and can't really do sports or dance. How do I make her accept performing?
