I (28M) recently started dating my current girlfriend (26F) about two months ago or so, and she’s my first official girlfriend after my previous long term relationship ended about a year ago. I have talked to some girls between now and then, always with the intention of ending up in a long term relationship, but none of them have worked out for various reasons, and my girlfriend is the first girl I felt deeply emotional enough toward and confident about that I knew I had to make it official. And there are so, so many positive qualities that my girlfriend has. Enough that until now I have been able to handle some behavior that I would normally consider red-flag behavior. But it has recently become a bit too much for me, especially since I’ve communicated with her about it and she promised to try to fix some of these issues, but I haven’t felt like she’s really made any progress with them, and I have been stressed out because of it.
She is very controlling, especially with my communication habits. I am a really communicative person, and I’m always open for texting or calling when I can. But I’m not always stuck to my phone. Some of the things she has gotten upset at me for are not letting her know when I go somewhere and do something (like going to the gym, or going shopping outside, or even just going on a long walk around), especially if it deviates from my normal routine. I’ve compromised on this and I’ve told her I don’t mind letting her know when I go to and from the gym (an all male gym, mind you, right down the street).
She’s also gotten upset at me for not answering the phone and calling her back 15 minutes later. I was playing a game and my phone is always set to silent for my own reasons, mostly that it’s not good for my phone to go off at work with the job that I have.
She’s gotten mad at me for accidentally falling asleep before texting goodnight, even though I do that nearly every single night. She also gets upset when I don’t text her good morning as soon as I wake up. This happened this morning, even though I texted her good morning. It was just a little later than usual because I was rushed and not in a great mood this morning. I sent her a very nice good morning text and she was still upset.
She’s also gotten upset at me for seeming “too cold” over text, when I’ve felt like I’ve been texting normally. Recently she got really upset that I take my phone into the bathroom with me, and I really pushed back on this one because I don’t find it to be an issue. But in the end I decided it was better just to leave my phone out when I go.
There’s also the fact that my current two close friends are female (I recently moved countries and this is just the way it’s turned out. I want more close male friends but haven’t met many yet). She is fine with me going over to their houses, at least she said, but she gets really emotional and withdrawn when I’m over there for too long, and once asked me to send pictures to make sure I wasn’t sitting on the couch too close to my friend, which I didn’t do. And bear in mind that I maybe hang out with these friends once a month for a few hours at most.
She’d explained that she had a very long term boyfriend in the past that cheated on her and that this is why she’s this way. Also that she comes from a culture (different from mine) where cheating is super common and it’s more normal to be worried about these things.
It’s just that I have been trying my utmost best to be a good boyfriend these past couple of months because I really want this to work out, but honestly it is excessive and I feel untrusted despite doing nothing wrong, and despite my own efforts to compromise. Is there anything I can do?

I recently (less than 2 months ago) bought 3 Sunnys from the Certified Preowned department for my company, and recently took one of the cars back for some noise complaints and got back a 4000 dirham bill for repairs and they’re claiming nothing included is on warranty. The sales agent assured me the cars are clean and well taken care of beforehand and I didn’t mind paying a premium price knowing it’s backed by the agency.
Is there anything I can do to raise this issue against them? The price is easily 15-20% higher than market price for the same specs, but I didn’t mind as I thought the warranty would cover everything and not just the engine.

My partner(27m) and I(24f) thought we'd wait another year or two. But it seems my ovulation came early and now here we are. I had a total breakdown when I saw the positive tests and now that I've had time to calm down and reflect I realize that the biggest stressor will be telling my older sister. Her and her husband have been trying for a baby for 6 years but she has PCOS and has lost 2 pregnancies. It's definitely the core sadness of her life that she isn't a mom yet, she's always working toward that goal with diets and medications and medical tests and I'm guilty that it's just happening for me. We had a conversation a few months ago where I told her that I was afraid of getting pregnant before her and she said all the right things, that I shouldn't live my life based on her problems. But recently we had a cousin get pregnant and my sister said it gives her a sense of dread to learn that a relative is pregnant. So I know she was just telling me what she thought was the right thing in that prior conversation. Now I don't know what to do. I know a lot of people don't tell anyone within the first trimester just in case of miscarriage, but I'm seeing her in person this weekend (she lives in another state) and I'm wondering if I should just get it out in the open. I wanted more than anything for her to have success this year or next so that when my partner and I did get pregnant it would be totally uncomplicated. We both have decent jobs and we own a house. So there was an attempted dinner where I would tell my sister and well she didn't come. Backstory my sister and mom are having a big fight and emotions are high with them and my sisters reasoning for not coming to dinner was that she was angry at my mom.
Earlier that day, before dinner, I did a peek-a-boo scan to see baby for the first time. My mom filmed it and it was saved to the cloud. After she misses dinner I made the decision to not tell her and it was going well til she looked on the could and saw the picture of my baby without me telling her.
Her response to seeing me the first time afterwards was 'congrats'. Then an awkward conversation ensued. Tears and her trying to explain to me why she didn't come to dinner. Me explaining that I was scared of her as her actions to everyone else was getting more violent. I also explained how she's slowing cutting everyone out of her life. She then storms off, throws her phone, and slams the door afterwards.
After that I was frightened as to her having a violent look in her eyes and I'm thankful for her not physically attacking me. I went downstairs and got my mom and my aunt on the phone so incase my sister decided to follow me downstairs. I was shaking and crying; I was a total mess afterwards and had my aunt come get me as I was to scared to be in the aunt. She told me she's on her way to get me.
Aunt got there and I'm racing to get out of the house before my sister sees me or me her again still violently shaking... she's outside talking with my aunt. So I have to walk past her to get to the car. So I'm sitting there and she talking to my aunt. My aunt is explaining that my sister missed dinner so her actions have been unreasonable. My sister then looked at me and said back to my aunt now she's scared of me. I dont remember what else she said but I remember that and right before she stormed off she also said I said congratulations in a snarky, cold, and unfeeling way.

This company is offering a commission rate of 7% assuming a certain sales target is met every month. If the minimum sales target is not met for the month, the commission is 0%. How common is this for sales jobs for tech companies? Note, the minimum sales target per month is somewhat on the higher side. So, the likelihood of achieving that sales target every month is challenging.
Also, for similar sales jobs for tech companies, if two salespersons work together on one sale, how much does the commission change? So, for every Rs. 100 that one salesperson would have received working alone, how much do they receive if they did the sale with one other person? Two other persons?

I 37F and my Husband of 47m are on the verge of a relationship collapse after 19 years together, 14 years of marriage. I want to say this first my husband is ambivalent to most of this and is Neurodivergent, isn't mean on purpose, the world to him is just black and white. But that's just it. I can't seem to get through to him how I really feel. In order for our marriage to work I have to excuse his behaviour "Oh that's just Dave", "that's just how dave acts" "he doesn't know what he's doing." He and I went to marriage counseling for our marriage about 8 years ago. The entire time he complained about every negative thing I have ever done and couldn't say one nice thing about me. While I said what I want him to work on but shared his good qualities. He didn't do any of the marriage counseling HW either and blamed me for not nagging him into doing it. Only in counseling he said all I do is nag and he's tired of it. I will say I am a terrible bottler. I will get so mad at him, I just bottle it up. Because I figure what's the point he won't get it. But I bottle it up and keep bottling it up until something set's me off and I explode. I scream and yell and will throw a fit. I try to explain to him why I am not mad at what pushed me over the edge that it's actually all this other stuff. His usual response is "no, your not, you're mad at this" For the last 5 years I attended therapy and learned how to set up boundaries and communicate better. When I try to communicate my feelings with him I am met with "no, that's not how you really feel" " your mad, upset, sad about this". In our relationship I do about 85% of the household chores, 95% of the childcare for our 2 kids, I bring in the lionshare of the income, pay all our bills, and get us out of any situation we might get into. I also take care of anything to do with his family, my family and our kids (birthday's, parties, christmas, ect). To his credit, his family has always been mean to me, but he's always stuck up for me and cut them off when needed. For 19 years, I have celebrated him to the fullest for every birthday, anniversary, new job, promotion. I have done all the business admin for him, 1/2 the marketing for him, waited on him hand and foot when he's sick, ect. Buy him special treats all the time, write him love notes and cards, buy him gifts that amaze him (his words). I learned about his hobbies, new diets, any medical issues, ect. In our marriage I have never been celebrated for my accomplishments. For my birthday's, anniversary, christmas, mothers day, ect he usually forgets until the day before or the morning of and I get a random card that says Love, Dave. I have to buy my own presents and wrap them so I have something to open in front of people so he doesn't look bad. He doesn't take the time to get to know anything going on in my life, health, work, hobby, anything really. He mocks me for my mental health struggles and says I ruined his life when I have panic attacks while driving after being bad car accident. I will say that he is good about helping me with some parts of my chronic illness. He will drive me to the dr.'s, sit with me at the hospital, and hold my hand through blood draws. But all i really want to is to feel appreciated and maybe celebrated just once. I feel like he really doesn't love me but the idea of me. The wife, where he comes home to a spotless house, cooked meals (his choice) his kids taken care of, sex, his errands and wants met, he's waited hand and foot when he's sick or has a boo boo.I don't think it would matter if it was me or someone else. He tells me he loves me daily. When I ask him why he loves me, he says I don't know or "you're crazy". I feel under appreciated. He knows I am serious about me thinking about leaving him and that I've had enough. He's trying to change but he is heavy in denial that he's done anything wrong in our relationship. I am not sure what I can do. I do love him, and don't want to give up on him. But when is enough?

And it's free, and it seems that Amazon account for the market share of ebook sales (is this correct?) so I figure "Why not give it a go?" - I simply wondered if there was an real reason NOT to use it. ----------------------------
Context for the above and below point: I'm self-publishing for the first time, although was relatively popular (at least in so far as people knew my name) ten years ago when I was published in invite-only anthologies alongside (at the time) well-known horror writers.
In theory, there are people out there who could see my name and go "Oh wow a new book by That Handsome British Writer Whose Name Goes Ironically Well With Horror Content." We're not talking big, or even medium, bucks but it'd be better than nothing.

Now, as for Publishers Weekly Select, this costs $167 but it claims you'll get your book info potentially seared into the eyeballs of 23,000 email recipients, as well as having your book appear on the PW site/print edition and Booklife's various channels.
Honestly, I'm not reading too much into "23,000"; I'm more interested in the potentially wide coverage overall. Can anyone say if they think it's worth using?
Right this moment, it's about the only marketing thing I'm seriously considering spending money on because a) I'm poor and b) social media ads feel like they may be a little too reliant on luck to garner eyeballs.
I mean, if you get down to it luck plays a part in all of this, but I'll admit I may have been suckered-in by both Select programs potential upsides.
