The perfect RV Tech Combo
Just got back into Milwaukee products and decided to go the m12 route since most m18 is over powered for most Rv work, Seriously impressed with the performance of the M12 line compared to most other manufacturers 18v or 20v tools! …multi tool or 3in cut off saw is next 😤

Propress or compression?
Looking to replace a saddle valve before it inevitably starts leaking. It’s for a 1/4” feed to an icemaker that is painfully slow to begin with. I have seen some copper compression tees that can do it just wondering what the longevity is vs a propress or soldering a tee in. I have experience working with PVC, never soldered or used crimps before

2023.06.06 12:34 Doma-Luxy Milwaukee M18 Leaf Blower Stubby nozzle

Milwaukee M18 Leaf Blower Stubby nozzle
I want to get this Milwaukee M18 Leaf Blower, but as I intend it to use to dry cars, I would need this Stubby nozzle. As I live in Europe I cannot find any similar nozzle which can be shipped from the EU, only from the US as that adds import cost which would make the buying cost unnecessary high.
So my question is there a shop inside the EU that has a similar item.

Milwaukee M18 Fuel Angler pulling fish tape problems
Hello everyone,
We bought the Milwaukee angler pulling fish tape and we have some problems with our 60 metres non conductive fish tape. The wire is bounding/tangling up inside the drum. We have also noticed with our drum that we do not have this red part inside the drum (I marked it on the picture).
Is anyone else having this problem as well?
If you are not having this problem could you confirm that you indeed have this red piece that keeps the black part on top through a video?
Thanks in advance.

2023.06.06 06:30 Jonnnnnnnnn $359 for Fuel Trimmer, 10 inch pole saw and XC8 a good deal?

I need a new trimmer as my gas one is dead, and I have a tree I want to prune, so the home depot offer on the trimmer and pole saw has peaked my interest.
I don't really need another battery, but I also don't have any XC8's so it wouldn't hurt (I do have 4 xc5's so I'm not short on power ever)
This is the deal: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-18-V-Lithium-Ion-Brushless-Cordless-String-Trimmer-8-0Ah-Kit-with-M18-FUEL-10-in-Pole-Saw-Attachment-2825-21ST-49-16-2720/308304985?source=shoppingads&locale=en-US

2023.06.06 05:43 HarvestSolarEnergy 10” miter saw, worth it ?

I have quite a few tools already that are m18 and m12, and need a miter saw. Portability doesn’t matter too much honestly, sometimes I’ll do all day outside and bring an extension cord. Other times in the garage. But every time I look up about miter saws, rarely Milwaukee is ever mentioned. It’s always Bosch and Dewalt.
Does the Milwaukee have any value or bring anything to the table that the others don’t? Or would a corded non Milwaukee be the best.

Milwaukee 0801-20C Milwaukee M18 70,000 BTU Forced Air Propane Heater

>> Album of all pics is here <<

The sites with this are JCCayer (link and screenshot) for CAD $298 and Province Electric Supply (link and screenshot) for CAD $322.36. JCCayer I don't think is including the hose and didn't state in the listing, while Provice's price is higher and has hose in pic but the listing has zero description. Unclear why the price difference.

2023.06.04 19:19 DLDabber Anyone else try these tool deals they see on Facebook marketplace adverts?

I see a ton. Like Milwaukee m18 backpack sprayer for $180. Or the m18 pruner for $68. And they do allow you to use PayPal. So part of my thinks what’s the worst that could happen.
Any thoughts are appreciated.

2023.06.03 22:47 guybrush3pwood83 AITK For Returning An Expensive Weed Wacker Because it Was Open Box?

I recently went to my local Ace Hardware in an attempt to give a local business some money instead of going to a big box store. I wanted to purchase a $300 Milwaukee M18 weed wacker and the AH site said the store had some in stock.
I went in and told the guy working there what I wanted to buy and he proceeds to grab the unit off the rack (the store display model). He brings it up front and I assume he's just using it to ring it up, but will go back and grab one brand new in the box. Rings me up full price ($322 with tax) and I pay. Then he dips below the counter and pulls up a plastic bag full of various accessories (battery, charger, etc) and hands them to me and says "have a nice day!" It was at that point that I realized he was selling me the display model.
At this point, I'm kind of bewildered, but it's a weed wacker so it doesn't really matter that much to me. I get it home and notice there some strange stuff in the bag as well. One is just a random nut and I have no idea where it belongs, but also a green wing-nut plastic screw which, if you know anything about Milwaukee products, they tend to be red, not green, so I suspect it doesn't even go with this stuff.
At that point, I'm questioning why I paid full price for an item that's clearly open box and I'm wondering about its history. If it were a $20 item, I wouldn't care at all, but at $300+, I decide to take it back and just buy it at the local Home Depot.
When I returned it, the employees were all acting like I was insane. No apologies given or anything like that. I was polite about the return and just stated plainly my issue with it, but what bothered me most is that everyone acted like I was weird for returning it. Like if they went to a Best Buy and paid a good chunk of change for a brand new TV, how would they feel if they were just handed a TV out of the box and a bag full of accessories? I know I should have said something at the time, I just didn't realize what I was being sold until it was too late. Am I the Karen here?
