Hi!
Our wedding is on a Saturday holiday this year. It'll be observed on that Friday federally. I assume most will have off that day.
We were going to do rehearsal that Friday but can't quite figure out when what times to schedule it along with a welcome party. We will have a lot of out of towners (mostly family) coming in and are trying to find times that work best to do a possible "meet n greet". Hotel check in is at 4pm.
We want to go for a more casual vibe just to catch up in the hotel bar. We will not be providing anything like drinks or food. I had asked the bar management about maybe doing drink tickets but they said either cash bar or open tab. We are unsure how to word it on invites?
In terms of scheduling:
Option A) Schedule a welcome party in the hotel bar 4-6pm, rehearsal at 6:15 then dinner after
Option B) Rehearsal at 4:30p, dinner then welcome party 7:30-9:30/8-10p
Option C) Rehearsal at 4:30p, meet n greet then dinner after at like 7:30p?
Any ideas or thoughts would be welcome. Of course, if there is another option, I'd love to hear it!

I just watched the little mermaid live action on Saturday and i absolutely love it. For some reason there is a debate over whether the character should be black or not, I don’t know why people give such a fuck. The actress who played Ariel (Halle Bailey) did an amazing job in the movie, and I couldn’t stop staring at her, she is an absolute beauty. The other actors and actresses were very good as well. Melissa McCarthy fits the Ursula role perfect,y in my opinion, her voice is very booming and powerful. The vocals were incredible too. I liked the movie a lot, and the ending had me crying, overall I really recommend watching it. It’s even better in theaters (which is where i watched it with my friends) because the loud surround sound makes the songs sound so angelic and beautiful. I get people may be a little upset that Ariel didn’t have red hair, but people- it’s just a mermaid movie, there’s really no reason to get so mad about it. They weren’t casting a person of color to be ‘woke’, they did it because she was beautiful voice and she was absolutely gorgeous. It’s really not that deep 😅. All in all great movie, i’ve never liked Disney movies but this certainly got me into them. Even if the critics hate it, it’s still pretty good 😚

Recently posted about trying to decide between the Asus Strix G18 or Lenovo Legion Pro 7i - I went with the Strix G18 because that screen. I will at the very least be exchanging the one that I currenly have as it's got a stubborn stuck pixel and I'm still within the exchange/return window but I had a couple of questions for those of you who either own this model or one in the same line with similar specs, as I'm debating exchange vs return. The one I have is i9-13980HX, 32 GB RAM, 4070 graphics.

• What I've noticed is that the fans are pretty much constantly on even at idle - the CPU temps will often be at 70-75 degC which explains the fans being on usually around at least 2000 rpm for all three; HWiNFO seems to indicate thermal throttling of one of the cores as well. Every now and then it'll drop to 50-55 (what I would expect I think), but then it creeps back up at some point. This is with the settings at Silent/Standard and nVidia set to "Automatic Select" in the control panel. I did not expect this, especially given how quiet my 10-year old Zenbook is even when I have three windows with like 12 tabs open in each. I have not owned a gaming laptop in quite a while though, so I'm unsure of what is 'normal'; I am guessing that the temperatures should probably not be this high though. Are the fans always going on your laptops even when doing some light-to-medium web browsing? Is that just a thing for gaming laptops in general?
• Another thing I've also noticed is that when starting/shutting down certain applications that seem to use graphics, there'll be like a 3-seconds or so period where the screen will freeze; I'm assuming this is due to switching between integrated/dedicated but I found it a little surprising that it wasn't, well, smoother?
• Coil whine - I did expect this given the previous reports but was surprised to find out it occurs at idle or under low-load as well. I hadn't seen all that many people reporting that, so I was under the impression it would only be present at higher-loads and/or with the higher cards. It is not all that loud to be honest - I feel a lot of people most likely would not notice it, and was unsure if it bothered me enough. Went through two BIOS updates and felt like the second one (309) made things worse and that the latest (312) took it back down; capping frame rates, running Heaven overnight at high settings, and slightly undervolting with MSI Afterburner all made no difference. Not entirely sure if it will diminish with time.

Anyways, I welcome any input, especially since it's been quite a while since I've been doing the laptop upgrading game. My main issue right now is the CPU temp and how the fans are pretty much constantly on when I'm doing just light stuff on it. Thanks in advance!

A resposta curta: NÃO É CRIME fazer uma exposição crítica, argumentando a favor do separatismo. Porém, É CRIME tentar separar os Estados brasileiros através de violência, ou mesmo discursar publicamente propondo a separação do Brasil por meios violentos, ou com base em argumentos de ódio a grupos étnicos, regionais, políticos, etc.
A resposta mais completa: a antiga Lei n. 7.170/83 previa como crime a conduta de "fazer, em público, propaganda de meios ilegais para alterar a ordem política ou social". Por essa lei, era crime discursar ou propagandear separatismo. O governo Bolsonaro revogou esse dispositivo, substituindo-o pelo artigo 359-L do Código Penal, que prevê como crime a abolição violenta do estado, ou seja, tentar separar o país por meio de violência ou grave ameaça.
O mesmo governo Bolsonaro ainda incluiu no Código Penal o artigo 359-T, segundo o qual "não constitui crime a manifestação crítica aos poderes constitucionais (...)" bem como "(...) qualquer outra forma de manifestação política com propósitos sociais".
CONCLUSÃO: embora a Constituição Federal diga que a República Federativa do Brasil é formada pela união indissolúvel de Estados, Municípios e DF, é permitido expressar sua opinião e argumentar criticamente a favor do separatismo, contanto que não se proponha ou se ameace realizar tal intento por meios violentos, tampouco se baseie o discurso em opiniões de ódio contra grupos étnicos, regionais, políticos e etc.
