2023.06.03 13:27 SugoiSuu Genshin Impact is indeed superior than Honkai Impact 3rd

IMPORTANT: This is about the game Honkai Impact 3rd, not Honkai: Star Rail. Please do not confuse those two games.
Genshin Impact is mainstream for a good reason. Both app's gameplay are completely different, but Genshin will stand the most.
If you are not a competitive and would rather not be overwhelmed, Genshin is for you. The elemental reaction is a unique feature that will boost your experience; you would want to play around it whenever you want. On the other hand, Honkai Impact 3rd leans onto the fast-paced side. With its battling system, there is a convenient feature; the evading. If you perfectly evade an enemy's attack, effects will vary depending on the character; in most instances, time fracture occurs (but not all characters have this). Despite that, Honkai Impact 3rd has a problem that bothers players; the large and flashing effects. The effects are so bright, you can't even see the enemy well; the evading skill has no use unless have good reflexes. On the other hand, Genshin has less effects, yet managed to appear attractive.
The burst---or should I say, ultimate? The ultimate skill animation in Honkai 3rd is unnecessarily long. For a fast-paced action game; why make animations longer than they need to? The burst in Genshin is superior. For 5 star bursts, more effects are used; yet they are used effectively to appear beautifully without disrupting the battle unnecessarily. Especially with the time limit challenge, it is convenient for you to get the shortest time record possible.
Speaking of gameplay, Genshin's open world exploration is much more diverse and enjoyable. The graphics are amazing, you can take beautiful pictures along the way. Gathering, Gliding, Running past enemies to avoid being bullied to death like those high school boys standing near lockers ready to punch you in the face and force you to do their homework, finding stuff along the way, and of course the battles. Aiming is convenient for killing Timmie's bir- I mean enemies from far away. If you have Ganyu, it's stronger yet you will be also bored; just using a sniper like in GTA.
When it comes to character design, Genshin is much more tame than Honkai 3rd. I do know for a fact that Honkai 3rd has decent designs also. But the problem is the revealing body. Genshin lacks that, thus making their character designs more tame. Honkai 3rd is---let's just say, less tame. Some characters have clearly inappropriate designs; such as exposing the chest and curves. I also do know for a fact that Honkai 3rd is mostly for male audiences; but still, it looks it's objectifying women; and they're freaking TEENAGERS, at least in the earlier story. But why does Kiana gotta have her chest exposed in her White Comet battlesuit? Gacha RPG games these days only contain curvy female characters to cater to NEETS. Even if there's male characters, most of the time there are less of them. The same goes for Gacha Music/VN games that only contain male characters, everything is just focusing on one gender to cater to fans; there's no gender equality.
In that case, Genshin stepped up. The team made a decision to attract all types of fans in just one game. Everyone will have peace in enjoying their characters with equality. And there is this one huge problem that is present in both games; lack of diversity. I'm not talking about the personality and design diversity; I'm talking about diversity in race, appearance and culture. Even though both games mention countries (and locations inspired by countries) on their stories, the characters are not diverse enough. Genshin has darker skinned characters, but VERY few. Especially in Sumeru, that region is inspired by Middle East Asia. Yet, most characters are as white as snow. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with having a lighter skin color. But it makes no sense, most people in Middle East Asia are mostly tanned. I'm not sure about Honkai 3rd, but I'm thinking Carole is the only darker skinned character in the entire series---Correct me if I'm wrong. I had high hopes with the story, but that ruined me.
And here comes the part where Honkai 3rd shines the most; story. Not Open World? I don't care. The story is executed better than Genshin. Genshin is not that compelling. In my opinion, its supposed "emotional scenes" are not emotional for me. Pull up those sad backstories, I won't cry; not even Yun Jin's song about Shenhe. I really don't care if Honkai 3rd doesn't have English voice acting, as long as the story is good. But this opinion may vary; certain people prefer fantasy settings, and a story that is not graphic. Some don't want to know the story due to not having English voices. Genshin's English voice acting attracted non-anime fans too, but I'm sorry; Honkai 3rd's story is deeper yet understandable despite only having Chinese and Japanese voices. Not to mention their animated shorts are detailed and beautiful; I do wish MiHoyo Anime Studio comes in a clutch and create 3D animations for Genshin Impact. But yet again, its use of in-game graphics is a sign that Genshin appears to be detailed and colorful; it is better than Honkai 3rd.
Overall? Genshin wins. Honkai 3rd is understandably slightly outdated, especially its age right now. But Genshin has more improvements of features than Honkai 3rd, with lots of quality of life features that weren't be able to added in Honkai 3rd, and also a lot more simple in general.

The boss of Russia’s Wagner mercenary force, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has continued his months-long war of words with the leadership of the Russian armed forces by accusing pro-Moscow forces of planting explosives to harm his fighters as they retreated from Bakhmut. Writing on Telegram, Prigozhin said his men had discovered a dozen locations in rear areas where Russian defence ministry officials had planted various explosive devices, including hundreds of anti-tank mines. Addressing Prigozhin in a video message on Thursday, and using the diminutive of “Zhenya” and the familiar Russian form of you (“ty”), Adam Delimkhanov, a close ally of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, cast the Wagner boss as a blogger who shouts all the time.

2023.06.03 13:19 TightAsF_ck YouGov Pay £5 for Each Bank Account You Connect/Reconnect via Open Banking (Get up to £200/year)

YouGov is one of the more famous survey sites/apps, usually quoted in the papers for their political surveys. It was founded by that absolute cretin, Nadhim Zahawi, But let's not let that inconvenient fact get in the way of beermoney.
With YouGov, there are several ways you can earn money:

What you get with YouGov/YouGov Finance

What can I earn?
  • Up to £50 every 3 months for connecting your bank accounts (10 max).
  • You get 500 points for each active current account or credit card you connect - this is worth £5
  • 100 points for each active savings account you connect - this is worth £1
I initially connected my accounts last summer. Then I reconnected them at Christmas. This got me quite a few fivers from YouGov Proof. I reconnected them earlier this month too.
This is the message you get when you re-add:
Congratulations! You've successfully added your bank account(s) to YouGov Finance. For each valid active account, you will receive points within 48 hours. (Note: You can only receive points once every three months for each valid active account).
Note: * Each connected bank account must have a minimum number of transactions. * Each connected bank account must be at least one month old.

How to earn with YouGov and YouGov Finance

  • 1. Sign up to YouGov here
  • 2. Then go to YouGov Finance here (This is the bank account arm of YouGov) and share your banking data.
Use chrome on your desktop for this. Some browsers have issues with the connection.
You get £5 worth of points for each active bank account you connect, and £1 for each active savings account. Some redditors have reported that some of their accounts aren't accepted (but that's probably because we have so many here on beermoney and might not use them all!).
  • 3. If you get an invite, connect to YouGov Safe for additional points,
  • 4. Top up your points balance by completing surveys as they are emailed to you.
Then tell your friends and get £2 if they fill in 6 surveys with YouGov (you get nothing if they only use the Finance arm).

Getting paid by YouGov

With YouGov you redeem your points in cash or vouchers when you hit £50. Example options:
  • Cash by bank transfer
  • ASDA, John Lewis/Waitrose, M&S, Morrisons, Tesco vouchers.
  • Amazon voucher
  • ASOS, Adidas, AirBnB, Deliveroo, Google Play....
Note: Don't get the virtual visa card, as these are an absolute pain to use.

2023.06.03 13:18 skytaglatvia The Little Prince

Throwback the post "A fictional character that gives me Aurora vibes".
Have you read The Little Prince? Well, I think you should if you haven't already. Especially If you vibe with Aurora's philosophical direction. I myself am not a book person by a huge margin, and I finally brought myself to read it, it's so frickin' short! Ridiculously short and simply written, as it's technically a childrens book. But there's poetic wisdom in that simplicity, it touches the heart. Might even cause some tears if "conditions are favorable".
Either Aurora and Nat King Cole were inspired by the book, or it just touches upon inherent natural universal ideas that pure-hearted people see clearly and allow themselves to embrace.

2023.06.03 13:16 JoannaBe Vast improvements in my life: January 2023 versus now

In January 2023 I had been mildly to moderately depressed for about six months, and felt too little ability to get motivation to do self help efforts. Often the only thing that gave me a bit of pleasure was my flavored oatmeal. I would often eat a whole chocolate bar in a day. I did the minimum needed at work and often did not get done when I said I would - luckily my work is flexible. In mid January I finally got onto Zoloft because I realized that self help effort was not coming any time soon without help. Then I had two weeks in January where I had 3-4 days of extreme headaches in a row, which at first I thought were migraines but then realized I had dangerously high blood pressure. My energy level plummeted so that I needed to rest after a half hour slow walk, and even that could bring my heart rate up too high. If I walked 10,000 steps one day I had to be almost entirely sedentary the next day to recuperate. I convinced myself and my doctor that I may have some serious underlying issues, so I did blood tests, CT scan of brain and EEG, plus two tests at cardiologist. Cardiologist found my heart to be strong, neurologist suggested that this all is is almost entirely caused by anxiety and doubled my prescription for Zoloft and told me to increase walking and exercise - he was mostly right. Then I had a sleep study and it showed mild sleep apnea, neurologist said we can try CPAP though unsure whether it will help.
Fast forward to now: I am beginning to seek out more difficult exercise - switching yoga days to strength training days, and increasing cardio from dance to Focus T25 which is more vigorous - I workout for half an hour each morning on weekdays and am beginning to feel inspired to add a workout on weekends too - been working out regularly since mid March, plus I walk 12,000 to 14,000 steps many days and 10,000 steps most days. I am more social too, take a dance class on Tuesdays, go physically to the office on Wednesdays, and to church mostly for socializing on Sundays. I am enjoying life again, and being more creative and more productive at work. I have lost 10 pounds since April 10th, and am eating healthier, among others few sweets. My sleep has improved though still not as good as I want it, but in the past two weeks I had a total of four good nights, which is more than at any other time in 2023 - CPAP is definitely helping as is extended release melatonin. I feel much healthier and less anxious and more optimistic. My motivation and self discipline are now strong, oh and I have developed good morning and evening routines.

2023.06.03 13:15 Killing-it- A Honest Account

I still can't recall how I felt the first time we met. I don't believe it was love at first sight, but there was a light feeling of intrigue that eventually grew to become the infatuation I am known for today. I'd like to think I love you, but we don't know each other well enough for me to really say it...
All that intro above is for me to say I recently stumbled upon a video I recorded moments before we met for the first time. I don't even remember making it, which is odd because I was 100% sober (I have been inebriated in your presence) and the video is kind of classic mellow yet over the top version of me. I'm sitting in a chair that rises and lowers with the push of a button. I make flirty (cringe) eyes at the camera as I rise from the ground. Then suddenly I look to the ceiling and belt out, "If you love me let me goooooooooo!" My lost memory of this video is so dark that I couldn't remember what song the lyric was from got hours. Then I realized it was from Panic at the Disco's "This is Gospel". Chills me to the point of goosebumps to know I sang that line not too long, literally minutes, before we met.
I looked up the meaning of the entire song and found these quotes:
"Brendon Urie said during a Reddit Q&A that "If you love me, let me go" from this song is his favorite line from Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! He added: 'I started to cry when I was demoing the vocals. That was an incredibly honest moment for me.'"
"The song was inspired by Urie's close friend and Panic! drummer Spencer Smith, who had been struggling with addiction. The singer told Billboard magazine: 'I was really on edge and anxious about where the future of the band was going, the future of our friendship in general. With him and his health I was really scared of what was going to happen. When I wrote that song I was mad - mad at myself and mad at him. Like, 'Why can't I do something to fix this? What is wrong with me? What's wrong with you?'".
My God. The song is our relationship's theme.
I'm infatuated with you, but I chose to go NC.
I'm awake too early right now. I'm going to sleep before I start fantasizing that our relationship was more than what it was...

2023.06.03 13:11 Very_Sleepy2000 Am I selfish for cutting myself ?

Today, mom took away my phone because I had an “attitude“.I mean, fine whatever I can deal with that. But when I asked her what I did wrong and what I can do to make it better she started rant ,here Some quotes from that rant:
”I love my child (that’s me) very much, but you hurt that child”
”In my break, instead of eating with my co workers,i look for psychiatrists for you,and you’re not even grateful “
(I said I don’t want to trigger pepole in public my exposing my arm)”oh yea,you care about stangers?,why don’t you care about me(she’s saying by cutting myself I am not treating her with sympathy),why do you show more kindness to strangers than to your own mother?
”I can’t trust you anymore,I can’t believe anything you are saying“(fair,I lied a lot)
”you know, drunk drivers say they feel bad,but the people they killed are still dead, same here, the scars are still there”
”When you hurt your self, you’re hurting me”

Somthing inside of me wants to say that it’s not my fault, that mom is being unreasonabl. But if I rrally am an abuser, then I can’t just say that she is the villain.I feel so bad ,i relapsed today, after she took my phone she said that I can self harm again, but i thin that was just sarcastic.I wanna cut myself again.I don’t even care about mom anymore,I hate myself so much,I need to bleed again.

I’ve been quoted by a few different clinics for around 1000/2000 grafts. I live on the east coast of the US but traveling isn’t a problem. 2023.06.03 13:08 Playful-Ad6687 Looking for Marijuana Penny stocks? 3 Tips to consider

3 Tips to Use to Find Marijuana Penny Stocks

Understand Penny Stocks as a Whole

Penny stocks are intriguing investment opportunities that have garnered significant attention from investors worldwide. They represent shares in small companies and typically trade for less than $5 per share. One of the attractive features of penny stocks is their affordability, making them accessible to a broad range of investors. They offer an entry point to the stock market that doesn’t necessitate a substantial financial commitment, thereby opening the doors of investing to individuals who may otherwise feel barred by high-priced shares.
One of the intriguing aspects of penny stocks is their potential for substantial growth. As these stocks often belong to small or emerging companies, they have a great potential for growth, especially if the company is poised for success or is operating in an expanding industry. This presents an opportunity for investors to get in on the ground floor and benefit from the company’s growth and success.
Additionally, the broad spectrum of industries and sectors that penny stocks encompass allows for greater diversification within an investment portfolio. From technology to healthcare, energy to consumer goods, and indeed the burgeoning cannabis industry, penny stocks provide a way for investors to explore diverse sectors without a heavy financial burden.
Finally, trading penny stocks can be an excellent way for novice investors to learn about the market, stock analysis, and trading strategies without risking large sums of money. The experience gained from investing in penny stocks can provide valuable insights that can be applied to other aspects of personal finance and investing. While the journey of investing in penny stocks can be an exciting adventure, it should always be approached with a keen mind, robust research, and the willingness to continually learn.

Identify Marijuana Stocks With Growth Patterns or Innovation

Identifying marijuana penny stocks with strong growth patterns or innovation is crucial in order to maximize your investment. One key to this is focusing on companies that are setting themselves apart in the expanding cannabis market, either through innovative products, services, or business strategies.
Looking for companies that display consistent growth in their revenue or customer base is a good starting point. Consistent growth patterns can indicate that a company is effectively meeting market demands, expanding its operations, or entering new markets – all positive signs for potential investors.
Innovation is another essential factor to consider when selecting marijuana penny stocks. The cannabis industry is a rapidly evolving sector that constantly demands innovative solutions. Companies that demonstrate an ability to innovate, whether through unique product offerings, technological advancements, or novel business models, are likely to gain a competitive edge. For instance, companies might excel in areas such as cannabis-infused beverages, edibles, medical marijuana applications, or eco-friendly cultivation methods.
Furthermore, the marijuana industry is subject to regulatory changes that can have significant impacts on the market. Thus, companies that show agility and adaptability in the face of these changing regulations are likely to fare better in the long run. This might involve entering new markets as they become legalized, or rapidly adjusting their business models to comply with updated laws.
Keep in mind that, like any form of investing, choosing the right marijuana penny stocks involve thorough research and careful consideration. It is necessary to review the company’s financials, assess market trends, and keep abreast of industry developments to make informed decisions. Nonetheless, with the right approach and diligence, investing in marijuana penny stocks with growth patterns and innovative strategies can offer significant returns.

Keep an Eye on Marijuana Industry Trends

Staying informed about trends within the marijuana industry is crucial when investing in marijuana penny stocks. This industry is dynamic and fast-paced, with regulatory landscapes, consumer habits, and scientific discoveries continually shaping and reshaping its course. Therefore, keeping a close eye on these developments can significantly influence your investment decisions and potential returns.
Regulatory changes are a significant driver of industry trends. As more jurisdictions move towards the legalization of medical and recreational cannabis, new markets are opening up. Observing these legal shifts can help identify companies that are well-positioned to expand into these newly opened markets, potentially leading to substantial growth.
Consumer trends are another critical factor to consider. As the cannabis market matures, consumer preferences are shifting and becoming more sophisticated. Products such as edibles, topicals, and wellness products are gaining popularity. Companies that are at the forefront of these trends and cater to changing consumer demands may present an enticing investment opportunity.
Scientific research also plays a vital role in shaping the industry. As we learn more about the potential benefits and applications of cannabis and cannabinoids, companies that align themselves with this research and incorporate it into their product offerings could stand to gain significantly.
In addition, technological advancements are revolutionizing the industry, from cultivation methods to delivery systems. Keeping an eye on companies that embrace these technologies can identify potential leaders in the space.

2023.06.03 13:03 russianbababooey The "Campi Hobbit", an alternative to the Mainstream

The "Campi Hobbit" were manifestations organized by the Fronte della Gioventù, the Youth organization of the MSI. They were inspired by more Movementist and Revolutionary tendencies inside the MSI, theories that proved to be much more attractive to the Idealistic Youth rather than the Reactionary Evolian theories.
They were called Campi Hobbit for the Neo-Fascist inspiration to Tolkien and his books, one of them featuring the Hobbit. On that same mystic inspiration the Fascist Youth also started using the celtic cross as a symbol instead of the original Fasces.
In the year 1977 the Far Left in Italy had gotten much stronger and gave birth to the Movement of '77, a series of contestations against the PCI (deemed too moderate by the Radicals). In this exact moment a new man entered the Political scene attracting many young Fascists and Idealists, his name was Giuseppe Rauti, also called Pino. He was a strong opponent of Right-Wing "Fascism", and wanted to make the MSI move left in order to attract a younger and least corrupt group. This led to him getting inspiration from more collectivistic and alternative methods, in the end giving birth to the Campi Hobbit.

The Camp Hobbit was held from 11 to 12 June 1977 in Montesarchio, in the province of Benevento, organized by the local MSI leader, Generoso Simeone. The idea was to gather militants to share "metapolitical" initiatives that had been circulating in the environment for some years: music, radio, graphics and social issues such as unemployment, the condition of women and ecologism, which were not normally dealt with by the Party. In this field, between the traditional paramilitary camp and the youth festival, the new symbol of the Celtic cross dominates. Even a human Celtic cross was successfully performed. The groups playing in concert are Amici del Vento, La Compagnia dell'Anello and Janus from Rome.
The second camp was held at Fonte Romana di Pacentro, in Abruzzo, from 23 to 25 June 1978. Compared to the previous year, a film was also shot on the event which was soon to tour sections throughout the whole Italy. It is perhaps the least successful gathering, born on the official initiative of the Youth Front as a whole, which attempts to take away the hegemony of the youth world from Rauti. However, the music remains the qualifying the Compagnia dell'Anello and the Janus performed in the concert.
The third Campo Hobbit was held from 16 to 20 July 1980 in Castel Camponeschi, an old uninhabited village. The neo-Fascist alternative music as it was called at the time, sees among the numerous interpreters and groups that will perform in those days the historical group of La Compagnia dell'Anello and the Fr*nchman Jack Marchal with his album Science et Violence.
The fourth camp had a radically different nature from the previous ones, being associated with a relief expedition sponsored and organized by the weekly "Linea di Pino Rauti" and by "Radio Alternativa", preceded by a collection of basic necessities by the "Rautian" sections of the MSI of Rome organized at the head of a large group of youth militants of the MSI following the 1980 Irpinia earthquake not having a party nature nor music, had above all the value of a moment of human compaction for the Youth of the MSI.

The Camps were all extremely successfull, except the second which still got some traction. The need to reorganize and bring these collective events back is evident if we actually want to triumph and attract more people to the Fascist ideal. Talking about Theory might be good on the short term, but without the action Fascism doesn't have a reason to exist and the only way to win is to apply the principles in society and make everyone see that we are not the absolute evil that the media tries to equate to us.
