Mostly gaming. I like grand strats like Crusader Kings. Currently I'm playing Total War Warhammer 3 and would love to push the settings on that. I'm generally a pretty patient gamer, with a new GPU I'd like to be able to push up to playing some of the more recent games that I haven't been able to; Horizon Zero Dawn, AC:Valhalla, God of War, Far Cry 5. I'm happy not to play them on the absolute highest settings in order to get a decent frame rate.

I have just installed yesterday and have all the latest drivers. Have read multiple posts and fixed all the settings and limited the fps as recommended etc.
Game was causing my CPU to get to about 95. No other game is doing this and I can play any other game on max settings with no problems.
Pulled PC apart, cleaned out and reapplied thermal paste. Cranked all fans up to max but still climbing only in diablo 4. Normally sit around 55 - 65 on any other game. Ambient room temp is around 15 Celsius
GPU is fine and sitting around 65 max.
PC isn't overclocked at all
PC specs AMD Ryzen 5 3600 64gb ram 3070ti 1tb m.2 Samsung
After doing all this managed to get it to float around 90 but then the game just crashes with no information on the crash.
Anyone else experiencing anything else like this?

It's been awhile since I played this so this post is quite delayed, but I'm here now with my deeper dive into setting the Golden Vault adventures in Wildemount.
Anthology Conversion (original post)
I'll be covering the following sections — Location, Lore, Experience, Future, and Resources — for the 1st-level adventure, The Murkmire Malevolence.

“You’ve got to steal the Murkmire Stone and bring it back so I can save the city!”

Location

I like the Varkenbluff Museum of Natural History being in a big city — it makes sense for them to then have the resources available to magic-ward the building in the various ways we see in the adventure. A smaller city could have such a museum, but a large or small town definitely not.
For examples of such cities, I recommend Rexxentrum, Zadash, Nicodranas, Port Damali, Rosohna, or Uthodurn.
My personal preference, as well as where I set this the two times I ran it, is Rexxentrum. I just like how having it in the Empire opens up the possibility of tying Cerberus Assembly stuff into it, including Dr. Dannell's involvement and the museum's arcane traps and workings.

Lore

With that in mind, this section isn't necessary, but if you're looking to give some flavor to the adventure to make it feel more immersed in the world, as opposed to just a drop-in module, then there's a lot to work with.
Dr. Cassee Dannell, first of all, could be an archaeologist who works for the Soltryce Academy, Hall of Erudition, or the Marble Tomes Conservatory, both being arcane universities. I would say the Cobalt Soul Archives don't work in this case since they're not as much an arcane-focused organization.
Curator Alda Arkin could just be a freelance fence working independently, but she could also be a Myriad fence, using the museum as her cover.
If you're not using the Golden Vault as your group's patron, mages who're interested in the Murkmire Stone — such as Doolan Tversky, Yussa Errenis, Vess deRogna, or Essek Thelyss — could either be hiring the party to grab the stone for them or could be the ones funding the stone's safekeeping for the gala... and then perhaps Alda sneaks it away after the gala to be delivered directly to them. Who knows!

Experience

I ran this adventure twice with two different groups. It was pretty straightforward, hence why this post is on the shorter end compared to my other conversion posts. A lot of the additions I made were simply flavor ones, having the PCs know certain NPCs already or being familiar with the museum using the given hooks or expanding on an NPC's written personality to include a brief backstory that helped make them feel less one-dimensional (especially for an adventure that has so many named NPCs).
The two groups I ran were for a oneshot with 5 players and for an anthology series side campaign with 2 players. Both were set in Rexxentrum with the same NPCs quirks and backstories.
The oneshot group was first, so I learned from all of my mistakes with them. Party was warlock, monk, Draconic sorcerer, artificer, and rogue.
I had had their meeting with Dannell in the morning, as the book said, but since the gala was at night, they took that as an opportunity to go around the museum during business hours (the Gemstone Wing was, of course, closed and cordoned off). That let them get the layout of the museum before the gala, as opposed to having to attend the gala and plan at the same time.
Hilariously, the warlock kept trying to get in with the guards as a new hire but wouldn't back down even when the guards told her that Alda hired guards directly herself, so there was no such "job posting" asking for new hires. This almost busted their recon period since Alda got suspicious when one of the guards came to her office saying that the warlock was claiming to be a family friend, too, but eventually Alda got busy and ignored this after telling the guards to shoo the warlock off.
The party left themselves an escape rope hanging from the skylight (the rogue had climbed the building from the outside during the recon portion) and then hid in the bathrooms or the supply closets after the gala.
I accidentally skipped over the part where the animatronic doesn't attack anyone and just jumps downstairs to wreak havoc. Sureth died in this oneshot because she was standing 5 feet away from the animatronic when the artificer activated it from the other side then quickly backed up. The animatronic crit on her, but she got revived at the end of the story by the Golden Vault cleaning things up.
The warlock also was knocked unconscious because (since I hadn't sent the animatronic downstairs and the party was in hiding watching Maryam and the guards fight it) she fled downstairs to create a distraction, and the guards down there knocked her out. She was arrested but I had their Golden Vault handler come by and talk her free.
On the bright side, the artificer did end up in a relationship with Dr. Dannell, who he came into the adventure having an established crush on, so that was cute.
In the wrap-up, we established that the party convinced Dannell to quit her association with the Soltryce Academy and go do research and similar work for the Golden Vault. The museum was shut down for investigation by the Cerberus Assembly and the Crown, and its future of ever being open again was put into question because of the havoc that'd been caused by the animatronic killing Sureth.
In terms of runtime, that group did 6 hours with 1 hour debrief, 3 hours prep, and 2 hours heist/combat.
The anthology group was second and only had two players, so I extra scaled everything down (removed half HP from everything). Part was Clockwork Soul sorcerer and rogue.
Same thing happened with the "early meeting" and "late gala" prep time — they wanted to go in during business hours to recon because there was still a whole day to kill. I've been recommended that, perhaps, the DM should skip from the meeting to the gala immediately, but I think that players might still say "hey, we had all of those hours to kill, we could've been doing recon then, too". In that case, maybe it'd be for the best that Dannell meets with them shortly before the gala so that there's no time to really do separate recon.
The sorcerer and rogue pretended to be on a date, and since this is an anthology connected to my campaign, we had a lot more stuff to work with. (The players were controlling NPCs-turned-PC-sheets that they've met before and are allies with in the campaign; the anthology is basically "what were these characters doing while y'all were not with them?") My favorite part being that they were both nobles, so I played off the idea that everyone knew them... which then made them have to work around the fact that people knew their faces so they couldn't be too suspicious since it'd be too easy to catch and identify them.
The rogue was the eldest child of Watchmaster Brunda Gleshin (and the black sheep of their family), so I had them know Maryam as a former Watch captain who'd retired to take on private museum security (it pays better than law enforcement). There was a lot of snarky back and forth between the rogue and Maryam because of that once they had gone up to scope out the second floor. This was my favorite interaction:

Micha: We'll leave you alone, but nice to see that you've taken up this... position.
Maryam: Mhm.
Micha: I'm sure my mother is very proud of you.
Maryam: Can't say the same for you.

They also set the skylight up for later, mingle at the gala (Watchmaster Gleshin is there, much to the rogue's chagrin), and then make their leave. But they don't actually leave and go in through the basement, fight the mimic, go into the records room and Alda's office and kill Marigold. Then they leave again and head up to the attic to wait for the museum's closing.
They'd previously tried to talk up some guards to see who they could maybe flip during the heist... but then when it comes time for them to come out of hiding, both of them discover that the guards have all changed positions so now the guard set-up they'd lifted is useless.
(This was fully because they chose to come in early and Maryam saw the rogue walking around during normal business hours, so she went and tipped off Alda right before the gala. I thought it was a nice touch since the rogue was acting real cocky and it further emphasized their bad reputation for being a troublemaker around town, that any Crownsguard who knew them would automatically think they're up to something.)
At the end of the day, both heists were successful, although the oneshot group definitely had more chaos going on, likely due to the number of players and the fact that I'd missed the line about the animatronic not causing real people damage. The oneshot group swapped the stone for the replica while the anthology players swapped the stone for a sack of ten pounds of adventuring gear... because it was "more fun". When I pointed out that that meant they'd probably know that the sorcerer and rogue did it since they were the only adventurers casing the museum earlier in the day, the rogue replied, "Yeah. We want them to know! They can't catch us. With what proof?"
I also found that Cassee was popular to flirt with. I mean, she's a dorky archaeologist, so I guess that was written in the stars already. In the oneshot group, as aforementioned, the artificer ended up dating her, but in the anthology group, the rogue tried to flirt with her and ask her out for dinner... but she declined because they were way too boisterous and high energy for her. (In comparison, the artificer from the other group was also shy and quiet like her, so she appreciated that... and his starting hook was knowing Dannell through academics, so there was that.)

Future

There's already future hooks discussed in this adventure, so I won't repeat those. However, I think because of the huge amount of named NPCs in this adventure, there's a lot of opportunities to reuse them later on, especially if you're running the adventures as connected like I am for my anthology group. Could be a nice callback.
The museum guards, if the museum is shut down, could reappear as guards in a later adventure, showing that they had to find somewhere else to work.
Alda Arkin, if her fencing was never discovered, could rise up to do bigger work and be involved with a later heist, such as Masterpiece Imbroglio.
Even Dr. Dannell herself could reappear in a later adventure that has to do with arcane magic or weird creatures (perhaps Markos Delphi has correspondence with her about eldritch horrors?).
I'm currently playing with the idea that Franceena, who the anthology rogue gave the business card of their dueling academy they run to, could have gone and taken those dueling lessons and become stronger over time, reappearing in a mid tier adventure (Vidorant's Vault?) as part of a rival crew. I haven't implemented it yet since I'm also considering using the Thieves' Gallery from Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves as a rival crew, but who knows! It's fun to think about, regardless.
As a side note, I also love that Dr. Horthnar Stonecrusher shares a name with Torgja Stonecrusher of the prewritten rival crew. It could be that it's just a happenstance of having the same name, especially since they're both dwarves... but I think it could also be fun if they're related — maybe he's her father and he mentions at the gala how his daughter has run off with some 'petty thieves'? And then she appears later as part of the rival crew!
In addition, I didn't get to implement this because I thought of it after I'd run both games, but I had the idea of dropping foreshadowing objects in the displays to hint at later Golden Vault adventures (similar to the museum episode of Black Mirror, iykyk). These obviously can't all be the MacGuffins of the adventures because those MacGuffins have to be somewhere, but maybe they could be allusions to characters the players will encounter or locations they'll go to.

• a casino chip from Afterlife for Stygian Gambit
• a plaque about the Celestial Codex or the actual book itself (donated by Vasil and later stolen by Markos after the events of this adventure because so many of the guards quit and he was able to sneak in easier) for Reach for the Stars
• tools that were used to build Revel's End, a painting of Revel's End, or the needles/original tech that was later used to make Prisoner 13's magic tattoos for Prisoner 13
• a bunch of automatons or clockwork trinkets for Tockworth's Clockworks
• a replica of the Constantori's Portrait for Masterpiece Imbroglio
• an exhibit of things donated by Froderic Dartwild before his death for Axe from the Grave
• an exhibit of a master thief whose identity is unknown and their many exploits, including stealing the ruby diadem of the Goldenbeard family for Vidorant's Vault
• a mural about Xeluan and his friends' heroic deeds for Shard of the Accursed
• an art installation of glasswork from Ghalasine for Heart of Ashes
• a model automated train replica of the Concordant Express that educates viewers on how the Outer Planes work OR plaques talking about all of the cases Ignatius Inkblot has solved for Affair on the Concordant Express
• a plaque talking about a Shard Solitaire, the many rumored variants of it, and how Varkenbluff has tried to acquire one from a famous adventurer, Zorhanna Adulare, but she hasn't been willing to part with it for Party at Paliset Hall
• and finally an exhibit/plaque/mural about the efreeti tyrant Vrakir, his long reign of terror destroying cities, and his unknown whereabouts now for Fire and Darkness

My rating for this adventure doesn't change from my original conversion post of the book.

8/10 - simple, effective, and meets all of the three pillars. The anthologies usually don't miss with the 1st-level adventures. I docked points simply because the flavor and setting was a bit predictable, but it makes sense to start an anthology with a classic museum heist.

Overall, it's still very fun, and both groups loved it when I ran it for how 'classic heist' it feels. It's got a lot of potential for future hooks

Background Info
I'm big fan of racing games and when I was a child I loved playing Flatout 2 o and it was the only racing game I had besides browser games.
Since I got my pc I got for myself a few racing games my latest one was Need For Speed: Heat Which I got gifted here
Why I want the game
The game itself is beautiful and the detail to cars is just ginormous I finished NFS: Heat recently
And In my opinion Forza looks more realistic even if both are arcade racing games. The map is huge, lots of cars to choose from, lots of different landscapes, races & events to choose from. And in Heat it
I felled bored because of repetitive missions and not big list of cars to chose from compared to forza.
Also I never had any experience with forza games
Why I don't just buy it
I have decided to learn how to play on electric guitar during summer break and I'm saving up for electric guitar so I can't really buy forza horizon 5
I had my eye on Forza Horizon 5 since release but I never had time to get the game and it was on my Wishlist on steam since 18.01.2022

(I have only one more UFO incident for my Chinese mystery series after this one and it's back to the murders and disappearances. At least until I run out of those)
On June 23, 1990, at 3:00 AM many people across China's Henan province in Shishou, Baofeng Changge, Zhengzhou, Qinyang, Zhumadian and Luoyang all reported seeing what they thought was a row of orange and green lights in the sky. For these locales, the story ended there. But in the city of Kaifeng, the story was only beginning.
On that day only a few minutes later at 3:02 AM Xu Xiaojin. Was sleeping on the roof of a local police station due to the heat inside when he heard a loud thundering sound and saw a fire ball streak across the sky despite daylight having broke. Xu was not alone, however, most of the locals couldn't sleep due to the hot weather and instead went outside where many others witnessed the object and heard the sounds. The sky and weather were clear so even before they saw the object they were confused by just the sound of thunder alone.
Xu continued watching the fireball until something separated from it creating a small streak of light that plummeted to the ground and made a crashing noise. As the object detached over and crashed into a populated area. Xu immediately alerted all the officers under his command (who heard the sound but didn't see the object) about the incident and started a massive search effort for the object that had plummeted to the ground.
The police went door to door questioning each resident about the fireball and were soon pointed in the right direction. The object was found in the courtyard of No. 24 Zhuanqiao Street in Kaifeng. The home was owned by Xing Zhijun who alongside his brother Xing Zhixiang, witnessed the object crash onto his property. According to Xing it all from high in the sky at a fast speed before colliding with a toon tree. The object destroyed many of the tree's branches and then collided with Xing's bicycle fast enough to bend the steel frame. Luckily no one was hurt (It only barely missed Xing Zhixiang) and property damage was limited only to Xing's bicycle (handlebars and frame). The object the fragment fell from was never located and no other "crashes" were reported. The flying object was estimated to be 10 to 20 meters long and 3 to 4 meters wide. It was in a slanted upward posture at first, then turned slanted downward, and finally disappeared horizontally to the northeast. The sighting lasted only 30 seconds. The lights reported in Shishou, Baofeng Changge, Zhengzhou, Qinyang, Zhumadian and Luoyang were later determined to be the same object seen in Kaifeng and was thus moving at a fast speed transversing the entire province in 2-3 minutes
The police located the object underneath the bicycle and some branches. The object was unexpectedly cold which took the investigators by surprise since they were expecting the fragment to be at a high temperature. The fragment was 50 centimetres long and 8-11 centimetres wide with a spine two or three centimetres thick in the middle, thin edges on both sides and weighed 6-7 kg and was in the shape of a tile. The police brought the fragment back to the police station and took several photographs of it (These are not the pictures taken in 1990).
The story broke and became public on June 24 and Zhang Weimin a junior student in the Chemistry Department of Henan University and a member of the China UFO Research Association heard of the story and immediately set out toward Kaifeng. To ask the police about the object which was still in their possession. The police at first, believed that the fragment belonged to an airplane and contacted civil aviation authorities. They told the police that no planes were flying over the area at that time.
Tests performed on the object determined that it was mostly composed of 89.03% aluminum, 6.84% magnesium, 3.83% silicon, 0.30% zinc, etc. Further tests also showed that it wasn't radioactive. Zhang who was given permission to study the object himself brought it to the Kaifeng Air Force Base and showed it to a mechanic Wang Fuyu. Wang said that the object was likely not a part of an aircraft as it was of a "much better quality" than aircraft parts. According to the Air Force base and Kaifeng Airport's records, no flights occurred during the time of the incident. Russian/Soviet and American records also recorded no flights over the area. Eventually, all leads were exhausted and the investigation stalled.
The story isn't over, however. In 1991, one year after the incident. The trees in the courtyard of No. 24 Zhuanqiao Street where the fragment landed were in poor shape. Not only had the branches not grown back, but the rest of the trees and others that had not been struck by the object were withering and eventually died completely. Xing Zhijun, Xing Zhixiang and other family and neighbours were evacuated from their homes while officials conducted another round of tests and discovered no signs of radiation or danger to the public and were allowed back in their homes.
The trees were not all that were still feeling the effects. In November of 1991, Xing Zhixiang arrived at his job at the Zhengzhou National Cotton No. 5 Factory when he suddenly fell ill and suffered a stroke collapsing at the gate. He was rushed to the Zhengzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine by his co-workers. The doctors who treated him diagnosed him with a cerebral hemorrhage too severe to be treated and that Xing Zhixiang would likely soon pass away
Xing Zhixiang remained in a coma for the next few days until he against all odds made a miraculous recovery and woke up. Xing Zhixiang said that he was conscious and aware when two people over two meters tall, wearing white clothes walked towards him. Xing Zhixiang described the men as aliens based on their skin being grey and their "inhuman eyebrows" He said to the two "aliens" that there was too much he had left to do and couldn't go. The two according to Xing Zhixiang then wordlessly turned around and left with him waking up immediately afterwards. Xing Zhixiang said that the two had likely cured him. Xing Zhixiang was kept in a ward with many other patients and no doctors were in at that time and the other patients said that nobody was at his bed. The doctors dismissed his story as a hallucination while he was unconscious. Although a rational explanation, for many UFOlogist and Chinese netizens this event happening to Xing Zhixiang specifically, the man who found that UFO fragment as well as his trees having not healed was deemed too much a coincidence for some.
From 2003-2006 the incident was revisited and a new investigation started. The fragment was still in possession of the Keifang police in an evidence locker. A new round of tests was performed on the object. It was suggested that the piece was 5A06 alloy which is a common aerospace material. It was suggested that the fragment may have been a part of a rocket, spaceship, satellite or missile but there were no records of any of those being launched in China on June 23, 1990,
The origin of the fragment remains unknown. The story is confirmed real and is officially listed as unexplained by Chinese officials.
The fragment is still in possession of the Keifang police to this day. Other surviving evidence includes Xing Zhixiang's hospital records remaining and in 2016, CCTV made a documentary on the case.
The documentary interviewed several people including officers from the Keifang Public Security Bureau and various local residents of Henan province all of whom stand by their claims of seeing the object. Also interviewed was Zhang Weimin, various scientists and Xing Zhixiang's doctors and nurses.
The case which is known as the Kaifeng UFO fragment incident/The Kaifeng Debris Incident is one of China's 4 main UFO cases officially acknowledged by the Chinese government and officially declared unexplained.

I am going to return my m1 base mac studio since I’m under costcos return window … since I just got it recently but only used it once. The new mac studio was announced yesterday and is better than the first one I just got lol. I am wondering if I should go for that or build a pc??? I never built a pc before. Last time I bought a prebuild pc it was a big regret but I can reuse some parts from that old pc I have laying around (monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse, harddrives, case (ehh probably want a new one it’s boring))
However, I am flexible with using windows because I am a tech person and I love tinkering with video games for fun (mods etc). I also play my ps5 EVERY DAY but can only imagine what will happen if I have a super pc since I’ve been tied to apple for a decade 😂
I am interested in learning how to do AI software for photo / videos since my M1 Macbook Air cannot do any of that.
I got the Mac Studio because I wanted something that can handle everything I throw at it (video wise) without converting to proxies … but when I installed everything I need on it, I realized mehhh it seems like the same thing I could already do on my laptop, lol! It sure can edit pretty fast without a hiccup though. Can’t game on it though. Video Ai software doesn’t seem to work because of drivers I think… :(
I found out a lot of ai apps work better with windows (and nvidia I think) and I would also love to learn how to do 3D things like animation or modeling eventually if I have enough charisma to try. I already took a beginners course in college years back but need to brush up on that.
Every computer I’ve ever had I have never been able to learn how to do what I wanted to do because they’re too freaking slow for my patience or incompatible for it. Last time I tried 3d animation in 2015 with my 2011 imac for class I was frustrated as hell! 5 days to render a 3 minute video lol and sometimes would crash so I kept restarting the project.
Of course I will be using Adobe Suite, latest Vegas… resolve. I need to learn how to use audio software too since I’ve always avoided that since I never really needed to. I know the basics of audio editing but it’s been a while.
I graduated film school and I want to continue my passion on a desktop rather than just a 13” screen laptop (yeah I know I can just connect my macbook to a monitor but bleh). I already have 1080p monitors but down the line I can upgrade maybe to an ultrawide qhd… or even a 4k. I do have a 4k tv but it wont be used for my computer— too huge.
No means will be doing professional work just yet… i never got paid for anything. I am just trying to kick myself back into the groove of content creation and eventually get better by making things again consistently like I used to years ago.
I only play on my ps5 and switch these days but would be nice to have a modern PC that handles all the latest gen stuff. Would love to try all the cool new software that utilizes the latest technology out nowadays.
I would probably like to see if it’s possible to squeeze in a rtx 4080 into it. Or does it even matter these days amd or nvidia?? Whatever it better and more budget friendly. Trying to not go past $2200 range after taxes. I don’t care if the case is super fancy or has all these rgb lights on it (unless it’s cheaper to do that e.g. fan is rgb and it costs less than a non rgb fan). I just want something that can handle everything a content creator would want to do, reliable, doesn’t make me stressed out too much, and does the job.

This list may contain fixes and also additions or any smaller improvements. These may differ also by platforms and users and etc. so for you it might not be difference or change/fix. But most of them are verified and if not. I will mention it.
Verification process is based on how much users reports these stealth changes (if vast majority does) then these changes will advance to in-game verification process. (This one may differ by: platform, settings and etc.)
I will also try to avoid obvious bugs. But 100% for sure I will accidentally include few. Or even accidentally add some twice.

Hi Legends,
I am very surprised to do not see any post about the current servers issues... (I may have seen 1 post last week, but that's all)
While, well, the crashes are happening constantly! At least on the UK/London server.
The Error codes are 'water' and then 'clock'.
You can't even leave the Lobby to jump in a game. The queue remains stuck with 5 or 6 Players in, and it takes 3 or 4 attempts to be able to launch a game with a friend in the Lobby.
There is no specific trend that can be identified: sometimes all people in the Lobby are crashing, sometimes one or two of your friends manage(s) to launch a game (but without the other one(s), obviously...).
Same for the platforms, no specific trend: I play on Xbox with Xbox or Playstation friends. Same problem whatever their device.
And this is not my internet at all. First, despite my own attempts, I simply receive feedback from my friends that are/were in my Lobby, and they have the same issue - hence this post. Secondly, I also received some feedback from a random yesterday, who 100% described the same situation (with friends being on Xbox, PS and PC).
The only common trend might be the Ranked mode. I have to admit that I don't remember trying the normal mode much. So this issue might be related to Ranked only.
Finally, being alone in the Lobby only help a little bit. It """only""" takes 2 or 3 attempts instead of 3 or 4. Great..!
Am I / Were we the only one(s) to have these crash/disconnection issues?? Having a hard time to believe so. Just VERY surprised that there is nothing on Reddit 🤔

I'm coming at you live from the sunny UK (no joke, it's literally blistering this week for some reason and I AM SUFFERING). As much as we can all appreciate a good bit of sunshine, it's nice in moderation but our houses are designed like little hotboxes, the heat stays in so i'm currently typing in shorts and a wife-beater whilst an industrial fan that I got cools me down - hot, right?
My sleeping pattern is just as inconsistent as Marvel Studios is with their quality. I'm usually up at all hours (I do work but it's flexible to a degree) so am happy to speak with anyone from anywhere. All I ask is that you're patient and understanding of timezones and...life in general. I've spoken with individuals in the past who have flew off the handle if you don't reply on their clock, so I appreciate someone who's horizontal levels of laid back please.
I like to travel and enjoy snowsports, both of which go hand in hand. As a result, I've been fortunate enough to travel all over Europe many times. Aside from travelling for that, I like to visit new places from Greece to the Czech Republic to Spain and so on. Also been to the US a few times but would really like to visit Japan or Norway one day, maybe Brazil but my pale self would probably incinerate over there. What's your dream destination?

This adventure sets you on a trail of cold blood leading you onto a glacier just as chilling as the supernatural murder mystery you’re about to uncover. The silent snow here covers many ancient secrets. Testing your survival and investigation skills - and not to mention your sanity as well. Will you continue to look for answers in the freezing lands or will the cold and horror of the aurora fields overwhelm you?
Doing a game of this Level 5 One Shot.
Anyone is able to join, but I do prefer to have a mix of genders male, female etc... to balance out the table. LGBTQ+ friendly. We will go over session zero, backstories, character creation, rules, foundry tutorial and table manners, and any other questions you may have before play.
Requirements:

1. Have a Clear mic for voice & video via Discord with a quiet background audio while playing. Phones are not acceptable as an audio source (Video is not required, but I like to use it as I am a very social person and I like to Roleplay with the players).
2. The game is played over Foundry VTT (Virtual Tabletop) via Molten Hosting, as such it requires a good network connection & bare minimum specs of a laptop or pc that can play a game via this generation if you're using a chrome book or very weak or old laptop it will not run good and will lag out or crash constantly. The higher specs you have of a better rig the better it will run.
3. Looking for 5 players, also looking for feedback after the game if any is appreciated if you have any insight for me afterwards if something perhaps needed more context or explaining or if you think I can somehow run it smoother let me know 🙂 always open to constructive criticism.
4. Character creation will be done on DnDBeyond, Point Buy, Standard Equipment, Sticking to traditional races and classes, No Homebrew. 650gp to spend on items. Any more questions on character creation or anything else can be discussed during the session zero.
