2023.06.02 00:23 CHLDM What are the best mono-region teams?

Just for fun, I decided to try and come up with the best teams only using characters from the same region. I'm assuming c6 4-stars and c0 5-stars.
Sumeru - Nilou, Nahida, Candace, Alhaitham. The only healer in the region is Dori, so if you need healing your best bet is probably Wanderer, Faruzan, Dori, and Nahida (?)
Inazuma - Kazuha, Raiden, Sara, and Kirara If you need healing, sub Sara for Kuki or Sayu.
Liyue - Hu Tao, Yelan, Xingqiu, Zhongli. If we're using upgrade materials to determine region, then Childe, Xiangling, Xingqiu and Kazuha might be better.
Mondstadt - this was the hardest. I narrowed it down to Rosaria, Eula, Fischl, and Mika or Venti, Klee, Rosaria/Barbara, and Bennett. I don't know their kits well enough to make that call, though. (The Klee team might be the only good use case for Wine & Song)
All 4 regions - Alhaitham, Miko, Baizhu, and Fischl wins by a mile IMO.

2023.06.02 00:04 Scouter_JW Jagex account - (missing?) benefits

Just upgraded to a Jagex account (so this is what it feels like to be assimilated!) and noticed some benefits I've not heard of previously (referencing information within the golden shard event [go to the Community tab then Event sub-tab for the Golden Cape Hunt], where there is an image of the golden cape off to the right with a caption "Upgrade to a Jagex Account to Start Earning ... Golden Cape, 3x Keepsake Keys, Combat & Skilling Buffs [and] Coming Soon: Logout Timer Extension."
So the golden cape is obvious, as is the future logout timer (for the latter, details surely to follow) ... but what about the (3x) keepsake keys and combat/skilling buffs? I have 2 keepsake keys at the moment (and it's not like I earned 3 and recently used 1) and am unaware of any combat/skilling buffs.
I have 8/8 golden cape shards (I'll turn them in sometime soon, I suppose) but this (3x keys plus buffs) doesn't seem to be a golden cape thing (rather, upgrading to the Jagex account, which I just completed).
What am I not understanding (or have missed?)

2023.06.02 00:01 MOAJT Revolut now charging for DRS, any way round this?

I’ve DRSd multiple times from Revolut but not for a few months now. I tried a couple days ago and they advised my account would be frozen during the transfer usually 5 days but up to 30?! (not happened before) and there’s a $55 fee for each transfer (never paid to do this before).
Is there a way around this freeze & fee? I’ve initiated a DRS transfer of a different stock by logging a ticket and it’s been kicked off without mention of locking my account or a fee.
Computershare transfers are now done in the app which they’ve said is why the account is frozen and there’s a charge (which they’ve said is from CS side, presumably this hasn’t changed since Feb though?!)… my other request was via a ticket, seems like they decided to start taking advantage of the increase in DRS requests.
Anyone got a way round it? Or can I even argue out of the charges further than just questioning so far? I’m in the UK btw.
Only option I can think is to sell and buy direct on CS?
EDIT - just found a post on the other sub about this, suggesting either sell and buy on CS or transfer to IBRK and DRS for $5. I guess the harder each of these steps becomes the closer we get…

Just found this adorable one-shot, if you like BL or food manga, I highly recommend this!
I don't think I've really seen this series around on the sub except once or twice maybe, so I wanted to take a chance and highlight it. It's a super wholesome, sweet BL romance about a guy who loves to cook but struggles to eat around other people, and the two brothers he meets who love his food. The brothers are many years apart, so you get both the adult romance aspect and some cute child-rearing content as well. I would say if you like sweeter BL like Sasaki & Miyano or the yuri romance She Loves to Cook, She Loves to Eat, you should enjoy this!
I hope whoever picks it up (or has picked it up) has a great read!

As regulars to this sub will know, I like to occasionally post up links to Richard Herring's Leicester Square Theatre interviews with Taskmaster people, and as the last interview from his spring recording block is now up on RHLSTP.co.uk and the contestants for Series 16 have now been announced, this felt like an apposite time to update.
ETA: I should add that any interview recorded after the guest's appearance on Taskmaster is highly likely to mention TM at some point, and after Rich's own appearance on it in 2020, that likelihood goes up from "highly" to "almost certainly". There may be some exceptions to this (I can't remember if it comes up in Sara Pascoe's most recent appearance),but Rich is a huge Taskmaster fan who also likes to talk about his own success on it.

2023.06.01 22:58 April1926 CPS TIME LINE

🩵 I am in the process of starting the home study for a little one that is fictive kin to us. We are in Texas. Direct family members on both sides are not able to take him while mom & dad are working on things and it hasn’t been a second thought for me to take him in during this time. However it seems like CPS is doing all they can to prolong him staying in this foster home/their custody. We have documented pictures of butt rashes,boo-boos on an 8 month old that don’t add up and multiple doctors visits & an ER visit since being in their care.
Does anyone have any advice? What can we be doing to speed things up if anything? What steps can we take to make sure this goes as smoothly as possible for him?
Starting the homestudy process soon I pray but even that they’re dragging their feet on. Any tips are so helpful right now 🫶🏽
(I wish I had money for an attorney at the moment but I don’t unless things get worse; I feel like we are being railroaded since mom & dad are younger.)

I'm currently making do with the Pixel 6a while waiting for the Pixel 8/8 Pro to come out. I'm aware of the rumor that the 8 would be smaller than the 7 (though by how much, we don't know yet), so as a fan of smaller phones, it seems worthwhile to wait for the 8. However, today I became aware of Apple discontinuing the iPhone mini series. If the 13 mini is going to be Apple's last small phone for the foreseeable future, its size and its current price point are tempting.
Hence why I wanted to ask this sub: how's the experience of wielding both a Pixel and an iPhone? Is it feasible to make one phone a data-only phone (i.e. you just use wifi/mobile hotspots to connect to the internet)? Which one has become your primary phone & which one has become your secondary phone? Are there phone functions (camera, media player, call, text) that you prefer to use in one phone? What keeps you from ditching one of your phones?

I'm already (slight dramatics aside) starting to experience this with the younger generation when I tell them about the magical times that were the late '90s/early 2000s. The Grilled Stuft Burrito, the Volcano Menu, Beefy Fritos Burrito and so many other OGs all for within $2 a piece. Now here in Canada it costs us $3 for a hardshell Taco (remember when those were 69 -nice- cents each?) and $2 just to sub Chicken onto an item (and they never fill the item with chicken, just a small scoop of it).
It used to be if you went to Taco Bell with $10 you ate like a king and got so Thanksgiving level stuffed that you felt horrible the rest of the day for it, but now I spend $15 just on my regular box meal, and a Cheesy Gordita Crunch on it's own is pushing SEVEN DOLLARS on it's own now! The only semi-affordable items are the "Value Menu" items. (shoutout Cheesy Bean & Rice Burrito!)
Will the next generations ever believe our tales of getting a gigantic Grilled Stuft Burrito for a toonie, or a hard shell Taco for 69 -nice- cents?

I found this etching & have identified artist and title, but was hoping someone may be able to give me tips on when it was made.
On the back, there is handwriting, in older (fancy) cursive identifying artist, with a 2 -
So $2 at some point in the past.
Thanks for any tips or tricks on this kind of thing.
I'm in love with her, but always love to have as much info as possible.
