i am wondering if it is possible either with extension or provided by the base system to provide configurable release based upon the end result.
for example i am making a demo for a game before releasing it so i want only up to chapter 1 of the story to be compiled as a release.
another example is doing something like fenoxo does for his games where their is a public release and a patreon release where some content is only via the patreon release

Asking for a friend. The whole post is basically what she said she's looking for. I don't know any games like that, but I'm not much of a gamer.

1. Text-based, either an RPG or some kind of a SLG. Maybe a sanbox game. Manegement strategy simulators are good, something like Princess Maker.
2. Good replay value, so not very linear, with multiple endings, varied playthroughs. Preferably with randomly-generated surroundings/NPCs and interactions.
3. Communication-focused rather than battle-focused, with stat (character trait) mechanics that impact the gameplay, both for the player character and NPCs. The stats should be able to be upgraded/altered/etc.
4. Decent, thorough customization for the playecontrolled (if it's a raising sim) character.

The criteria are pretty specific, so it's fine if the game doesn't fit all of them. She says that raising simulators are mainly what she's looking for. I presume she meant something similar to Era games, but safe for work.
Please don't recommend: AI Dungeon, QSP or Twine games, Fenoxo's games (I presume the last one shouldn't be a problem since this is a SFW subreddit)

Hi! I'm 28, AMAB, high functioning autistic, and considering Therapy and or HRT in the next few years, once I finally become fully independent and have a safe place to live.
The thing is I'm not sure? I'll start at the beginning, but try to keep it brief. Basically, before I was born, my parents thought I would be a girl, bought a bunch of girl stuff, rolled the gatcha and got me. We kept the things, and even though they were obviously girly, I didn't mind? I just knew they were mine growing up. But it planted the thought of, "what if I was different".
Fast forward to my late teens and I'm getting waves of this feeling at night sometimes, like I want some magical button to go back and forth. But obviously magic isn't real, so I can't, just keep surpressing the feelings.
And then I stumbled on the internet, good lord, I found El Goonish Shive, Fenoxo, and the TFGames wiki, and others, and I realized I was Bi, even genderfluid, but I didn't consider myself trans even though I wanted it, because unrealistic expectations, but I picked up a transformation fetish instead.
So now, 5 days ago, I'm sick, my psyche is kicking the backseat, I'm getting waves of not entirely dysphoria, but like, a longing to be different again? I finally burst the bubble and started telling my family and friends what I want, and they've mostly been incredibly supportive, even helping feminize me a little bit while at home.
The problem though is that I've never actually thought of myself as a woman, I'm not trapped in the wrong body, I have a high libido but no dating or sex because demirom, never had problems living like a chad I guess you could say. I'm just worried that I have some kind of fetish, or something, should I do it just because I want it? What if I don't want to socially transition? Is there a way to become androgynous and stay that way while also being trans?
I've been voraciously consuming research, anecdotes, stories, warnings, these last couple days, but I'm afraid of making the wrong decision for the wrong reasons. And the repercussions on my support network if I suddenly stop and do a 180? AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH.

I am working on making a text-based RPG based on The Grant Hunt CYOA similar to Fenoxo's Games. I am on the map system. But I am curious about how you guys want it to be?

1. Click on the button that says explore and it a random chance for stuff such as an event, battle, location, etc. There will be a button to explore one that already explored to try and get further, most basic of 5 option, allow much quick release, can be upgraded to other options later on but may require rework of the system to match the new option.
2. A grid-based option is similar to Trial in Tainted Space by Fenoxo. It basically likes block by block with X on where you are and ! on interest event, etc. can be upgraded to look better, etc.
3. A graph-based option is similar to the Corruption of Champion 2 by Fenoxo. It basically allows much looser free-roaming, can include the interaction between multiple floors, etc. but will lack that familiarity and pathway can be confusing.
4. a mix of option 2 and 3 such as a graph for large outdoor and grid for indoor, etc. Hoping to reach this stage in this game, but hold off as it increases the time before alpha release to the public.
5. A mix of 1, 2, 3. the button more or less serve as fast travel to fight the same enemies rather than rely on random chance to get enemies, etc. can help reduce grinding by quickly find something, but risk disturbs the flow of the game by allowing you to get stronger fast if you continuing farming strong enemies and just ignored exploration. Also, the button might become clustered when adding up with another button for other stuff. You can get an idea of what I talking about by playing the Fall of Eden, which is hosted by Fenoxo.

EDIT 3: this post is one I use for the CYOA community, I only bring it up here in the jumpchain community because this project will eventually involved in a larger-scale project known as metaverse, which aims to bring jumping within meta-universes with interaction RPG elements that will be made simple with an editor which allow mods to happen. Greetings! I'm a programmer developing story-oriented rpg (mix between interactive fiction and dungeon crawler) in Unity (like https://www.fenoxo.com/play-games/, but not 18+), the team has an artist and a writer.
The project started in July, the minimum version of the prototype (moving around the world, interaction with objects and NPCs, dialogues, quests, inventory) is ready, we are now making a combat system.
Looking for a second programmer as a partner (revenue share), the requirement is that there must be at least one completed game behind. The amount of work to be done is not small, so a second pair of eyes on architecture, etc. would be nice.
We are Russians, but the game has an English localization. Also for cooperation - we are going to translate all our game-design documents into English and are ready to keep working correspondence in it, so I hope there will be no problems.

I'm looking for a game that I can play while working. Something ala Dwarf Fortress but not crazy complicated, that pleasantly runs in the background while I work that I can check on every once in a while.
Have a Mac so am hoping it's a low-intensity game that can run in a window, or a browser game.
I know there are a few posts that kind of hit this mark but it's usually more for listening to podcasts or so forth. What I'm looking for (and I imagine others are as well) is something even more background than that.

I am not sure if this would be the best place to ask this, but the offical fourms I could find for the game are down and there hasn't been an update in almost a year. (And I know the Furry Community in general seem to be into these games)
For those who don't know, Fall of Eden is a text based adventure filled with sex, fights and other things in a similar vein to Corruption of Champions. Fenoxo the maker of CoC as well as the latest game, Trails in Tainted Space, hosts the Fall of Eden game download as well as where the updates were posted for the game.
But after a look around the internet, I can not find out what happened with the game. It seemed very promising, but there hasn't been any word on it, from what I could find, since last year.
Edit: If you are going to downvote, at least explain why or direct me to another location to ask if this is the wrong place for the question.

Kinda like Mass Effect, but with more focus on the relationship. Also, kinda like TiTs (Trials in Tainted Space, and yes I have been all over fenoxo's forum) but with more plot. (Explicit content is not what I'm looking for). Character customization would be nice, but I mainly want something with a lot of exotic alien races to explore feelings with.
To be honest, fantasy is cool too, I just want something with a lot of different species(?) and a good plot with developing relationships. ( I sunk hours into CoC, just to see how many different options I could get out of different people.)

So here's the deal, I'm looking for games similar to an extremely NSFW RPG, Corruption of Champions. But I'm not necessarily looking for porn here (though I'm not opposed to recommendations that fit what I'm looking for being NSFW as well) so I'll describe what I liked and am looking for more of:
CoC is a heavily exploration-based & character-driven RPG with a nicely irreverent tone. You are basically dropped into a large & varied fantasy world (metaphorically) naked & blind, then encouraged to explore the world, improve & customize your character, and "interact" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) with a huge number of extremely varied NPCs, who oftentimes have a lot to say. The game does have a main plot but if all you did was pursue it it'd take an hour and a half in a game that can easily eat several dozen hours, so you're never prompted very hard to pursue it.
The game also makes good use of the "It's a porn game, don't take it so seriously" feel to have a very bouncy, flippant tone and sense of humor.
So really what I'm looking for is a roleplaying game (and I'm happy to go to indie or web games for it) with a heavy emphasis on exploring and interacting with an unfolding fantastic world over any sort of main, directed plot.

I'm sure this kind of topic gets posted around a lot. I have been on the fence of using Actionscript 3 with Flash or HTML 5 to make this game but bottom line is my programming experience is fairly moderate. I want to make a game that is similar in design to Fenoxo's Corruption of Champions. The only difference is I want mine to have a larger focus on story with the 18+ stuff being nearly optional. I have a very good idea of the mechanics of the game. Most of them are fairly basic. I'll list them down below.
Character Creation. I want it to be very detailed and I want these stats to effect the 18+ scenes and I want NPC's to have gender preference.
Stats. These are as follows; Strength, Dexterity, Wisdom, and Fortitude. I also want to borrow from Coc and have a Corruption stat but in addition I want to have a Purity stat.
Dungeons. The game has a huge focus on dungeons. The entire goal of the game is to get to the top of a massive tower ruled by a demon queen. I want the player to have to defeat every monster on each floor to unlock the next one. In addition I want to use the CoC explore mechanic so players can explore the world outside the hub town and grind for xp.
Day Night Cycle. I want certain encounters and events to only be available at night or day.
These are only some ideas. I know I am being very ambitious here but I'm confident I can achieve this. I just need someone to help point me in the right direction. I'm using this experience to help teach me how to code and some long term help would be most appreciated. Finding detailed tutorials on this is hard because most people prefer fancy graphics. Right now I just need someone to help me set up this game. Then we can worry about content.
