[6r35] Help me understand this movement true value.
As you all know the 6r power the majority of seiko’s midrange offerings. Much has been said about it’s inconsistency and in my personal experience they perform very “badly” out of the box. I have an spb143 and a newly acquired spb187. The spb187 is at +20sec a day BUT hasn’t got through the process that I do with all my seikos (a breakthrough period of 30 days and then sending the watch under the warranty to be regulated). I did it with my spb143 and it now runs consistently at +2s/d with minor fluctuation’s. That said, Seiko has announced a new King Seiko with the same 6r35 but better regulated and trading power reserve for a faster beat rate - and charging an the absurd of €3400 in retail. It is more than a SLA021 with the 8L movement!
So my question is: how good and durable the 6r35 really is to be considered in a watch of this price point? I must admit that out of the box they are terrible, but my spb143 runs really really well and makes me wonder if the movement architecture is great but the regulation and QC is crap. What are your thoughts?

2023.06.07 13:32 OtakuPi Job jumping vent

I've posted here before about my difficulty finding a job and got a dm asking why I don't jump from one to another until I find my fit.
I have and I use to be a job jumper the year after college. I jumped from one place to another in a few months time I was at 4 different places. I did social media management web development and digital content creation.
The first time I did social media management and content creation (never gained training) I was employed about a month and 2 weeks, I got covid 2 weeks after starting (big fuckin bird flipped my way after 2 years) took 2 weeks to recover in that time I was still working just from home. Got paid only for the weeks I was on site, had a meeting with hr and management, got fired, got walked off the premises.
The second position I worked in was 2 months of social media management and content creation again at a small company, less pay but much mich less traffic. I "worked" (assisting my manager with day to day things) for about 3 weeks before I finally got my first training session or shown how things work there for content creators and social media managers. Then was given a big project that I told them I wasn't ready for and didn't know what to do. I was solo for the first time doing something I've never done alnone and after asking for some help from my manager she set up a meeting, it took anohther week before she got back to me, I said that I didn't get enough training then my manager let me go with this as her reason "you are strugling because you didn't pay any attention to your training and could not be bothered enough to listen to me.". After 3 weeks of following her around like her own personal lap dog I didn't learn a single thing because she didn't give me shit to do other than writing down crap you shouldn't make physical notes of and being her own personal techie fixing shit I had no place fixing. I got paid that's all that mattered to me tho and I moved on
The third and time I was employed in web development. This was a massive break and I could finally start what I loved. I worked 3 days before I broke.
I worked for a guy, think chief wigam from the Simpsons from look to intelligence. Heck ex cop even
I missed all the red flags from my interview. Wasn't allowed to see the office area Was told "you're hired see you tomorrow" after interview "Family environment" BASED OUT OF THEIR GARAGE I got 0 training And they would push employees to personaly pay for things like photoshop, hosting, and the printer paper and ink
I looked over all the red flags I was just so excited to finally start working in what I worked so hard to break into back then and didn't consider why they had that position on and off so much.
I worked 3 days Day1: got given a project to finish, worked all day got it almost finished. Showed the boss he liked it Day 2: continued to work on design improving abd fixing everything. Showed boss abd he told me I should be done (was given a week before I would have had to have a launch ready site) Day 3: boss harps on my conduct (refused to work at home after 5, calls me dirty(had some dog hairs on me) and shits on my design skill calling me a child I quit half way through day 3 and as I left 2 others followed
I job jumped because of the toxicity and limitations employees are forced to work under only to realize entry level and graduate positions are just there to get inexperienced workers to accept inhumane pay for the possibility of a better job next year
Edit: fourth place was just labor pay was shit but management and team were cool I was just a part timer for 2 months

2023.06.07 13:31 plantomeals What is Portion Control and How does it help to lose weight ?

It's not just you! Satisfaction and fitness can be difficult to balance. But do not worry; there is an easy fix: portion control. It's essential for preserving a healthy weight and way of life. Let's defeat hunger and get the ideal balance! Measuring or estimating the amount of food you eat and changing it in accordance with your needs and goals is the practice of portion control. You can avoid eating too little or too much, which can result in health issues including obesity, diabetes, heart disease, or starvation!
How will this answer help you ?
We're going to give you some advice on how to master portion control so you can eat what you want without feeling guilty or deprived. Additionally, you'll discover how to read nutrition labels and portion sizes, plan your meals and snacks in advance, and deal with cravings and temptations. You'll also learn how to use your hands, eyes, and dishes as guides. By the time you're finished reading this blog, we guarantee you'll be able to eat more wisely and more easily accomplish your wellness and health goals.
Facts and advantages of portion control for a healthy diet.
You may prevent overeating by controlling your portions. Overeating can result in weight gain, obesity, and chronic conditions including diabetes and heart disease. You can reduce the amount of food you eat and maintain your daily calorie needs by using portion management.
Portion control aids in the balancing of your macronutrients, which are made up mostly of carbs, protein, and fat in food. For optimum health, you require a specific quantity of each macronutrient. Each macronutrient has a unique function and role in your body. Portion control makes it possible to consume the recommended amounts of each macronutrient without going overboard.
You can appreciate your food better if you manage your portions. It's possible to overlook the flavor, texture, and perfume of your food when you eat excessively or quickly. Following a meal, you could also feel sluggish, uneasy, or guilty. Portion management encourages you to take your time and savor each bite of food, which increases satisfaction and enjoyment.
What exactly is portion control and why is it important?
A crucial skill to develop is portion management if you want to consume healthy food and regulate your weight. Portion control entails paying attention to how much food you are consuming and selecting the right serving sizes. By using visual clues to estimate the right amount of food you should eat, portion control can be successfully incorporated into your daily routine. Utilizing visual cues will help you determine the ideal serving size for your specific requirements.
For example
A serving of grains should be the size of your fist or a serving of cheese should be the size of your thumb, and a serving of meat or fish should be roughly the size of your hand. To put less food on them, you can also use smaller plates and bowls. Planning your meals and snacks in advance and adhering to them is another method of practicing portion management.
You can portion out your food using measuring spoons and cups and store it in bags or containers. By doing this, you can prevent eating carelessly and taking more food than you require. By controlling your portions, you can eat a variety of meals without feeling restricted or guilty.
You can maintain a healthy weight and balance your energy intake and expenditure with its assistance. Not missing meals or starving yourself are not part of portion control; rather, it is about mindfully and moderately eating.
How to use portion control in everyday life
- When serving food at home, use smaller bowls and plates. This can assist you in putting less food on your plate while deceiving your brain into thinking you are eating more.
- When measuring ingredients for a recipe, use scales, measuring cups, or spoons. By doing this, you can prevent your cuisine from becoming overly fatty and calorie-dense by not using excessive amounts of oil, butter, sugar, salt, or other components.
- Before beginning to eat when dining out, get a to-go box and bag half of your food for later. You can use this to prevent overeating while also saving money.
- Track your calorie intake and portion sizes using an app or website. You can track your food and drink intake and see how many calories you are taking in with the help of a variety of tools and services. MyFitnessPal, Lose It!, CalorieKing, etc. are a few examples.
- Sip a lot of water both before and during meals. This can make you feel fuller more quickly and stop dehydration. Avoid consuming alcohol or sugary beverages because they can increase your hunger and add extra calories.
Conclusion
You can practice portion control in your regular meals by following the advice I gave you in this blog post. Portion control benefits your general health and well-being in addition to your waistline. You may avoid overeating, cut down on food waste, and savor your meals more. Finding the ideal balance and moderation for your body and way of life is what portion control is all about not starving yourself of the things you love.
We sincerely hope you found this answer to be insightful and helpful. I would love to hear from you whether you want to try portion control or if you already practice it regularly.

2023.06.07 13:31 Spirited_Cap9266 What is the most random death you got ?

Curious about how tiny mistakes or random thing did kill you.
I will start with what happened to me yesterday.
Wanted to do a solo run for the first time, got a really good start, saw a Z crawling on top of a fence, miss his head by a little margin when is on the ground and he was able to make me fall, didn't think much of it and just bandaged the wound, two hours later saw the "infected" tag on the wound.
I can't relate how dumbfounded I am, I didn't even knew he actualy scratched I though it was the fall that made the wound, and then I saw the "7% chance of infection", that was the only hit I took in my little playthrough.

2023.06.07 13:28 budlvr2001 Looking for optimism

Just looking for some optimism with my claims... I have C&P diagnosed disabilities for most of my claims, but "not service connected". Most commonly because of "lack of evidence in service record". This sounds "boxed" probably, but we just didn't go to sick call during my Era of service (soldiers probably still don't). It was frowned upon by leadership, and typically those that did were titled "dirtbags" or "broke dicks". Not only that, but there is work to do in the motor pool. You are part of a team that depend on each other. If my back has a "twinge" and I go to sick call, another crewmember has to do my work too. We just didnt go unless debilitating. And once you become an NCO, now your whole team depends on you each day. I have multiple claims that got "you claim there was a "stigma" about going to medical, yet we see evidence where you went for your shoulder, your feet, and chest pain"... I feel like that is absurd reasoning... I had a class 2 separation from an incident (shoulder,) I couldn't walk (I think I bruised my heels or something (feet)), and I thought I could possibly be having a heart issue (chest pain). So of course I went to sick call for those. My 24 year old back hurts from pulling on tank track 10 hrs a day, 3 days in a row... that's why it hurts, young back doesn't go to sick call, I knew why it hurt, and that itll likely go away... 20-year-later back can't help but think doing that, 70 lb ruck marches, regularly carrying 50 cal long distances on shoulder, etc; could possibly have contributed?
Its like they deny a claim for one reason, I defend that reason, they find another reason, I defend that, it's a tiring loop. The CFR talks about "benefit of doubt for the vet"... if I say it happened and there is no reason not to believe me, then why not take my word for it. I even have a Civilian Dr Nexus, and detailed buddy/lay statements for a few of the items and I get the "C&P examiner had a more convincing argument to not service connect". What about the CFR rule where if there is equal evidence for both cases, they side with the case in favor of the Vet? Just frustrating. Now I know there are way more details needed to understand my whole scenario, and I'm not bitchy, just wondering if there are any articles/studies that can help me understand the "stigma" of sick call denial reasoning? There's no way they don't know what I am talking about. I know they are doing their diligence, but to what extent? Are examiners encouraged or incentivized for not connecting?
In the interest of space here, I didnt quote the exact CFR language, but why is this so difficult? Do they want me to give up? Is there no logic? Cramped inside an Abrams tank for 7 years scrunched in a gunners hole, doesn't easily equate to back and knee pain? You guys are good at encouraging and optimism, just looking for some here, lol. TIA!

2023.06.07 13:21 itesonline Essential Tips for Ensuring Section 508 Compliance in E-Learning

Essential Tips for Ensuring Section 508 Compliance in E-Learning
In the present times, e-learning has become the most widely used method of disseminating information and knowledge. By offering a cost-efficient and flexible alternative to classroom-based learning, you ensure that more and more learners living in different parts of the world are able to receive access to education. Nevertheless, if you are creating e-learning content for companies, educational institutions, or government agencies that get federal funding, you need to make sure that your content complies with Section 508 guidelines.

https://preview.redd.it/6br4t6noyk4b1.png?width=728&format=png&auto=webp&s=1fb050f4a3fac3e8443d2879406fe1eeb8cffd72

Section 508 Accessibility Compliance

Section 508 guarantees that people with disabilities have the same access to electronic and information technology (EIT) as the ones without disabilities. It encapsulates a variety of digital content, including websites, eLearning courses, multimedia, and software applications. The inability to comply with these regulations can lead to serious financial and legal penalties for organizations.

Ways to Make Your E-learning Content 508 Compliant

Here are some important factors you need to consider while creating your E-learning content that is Section 508 compliant:

Assistive Technology

It is vital that EIT is equally accessible to people with and without disabilities. For instance, people with visual or hearing impairments might need assistive technology such as hearing aids, speech recognition software, or screen readers, to access e-learning materials. E-learning courses need to be designed taking into consideration the needs of such individuals.

Text Equivalents and Alternatives

When text equivalents are created within the content on an e-learning platform, users with visual impairments can access the same content as those with no visual impairments. This entails creating transcripts for video and audio content on an e-learning platform as well as adding alternative text (alt text) for images and other media files.
When an image cannot be loaded, a brief description of the image is displayed as the alt text. It aids those who use screen readers in deciphering and comprehending the visuals in their e-learning courses.

Accessibility Standards

Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act lists technical standards for web-based content, including images, audio, video, and text. Your developers of e-learning courses need to ensure that the content meets the guidelines of technical standards, such as effective labeling of web pages, subtitles in videos, transcripts in audio files, and closed captions.

User Testing

Conducting user testing with people with disabilities helps evaluate the efficacy of the eLearning materials. This allows you to gather feedback and modify your e-learning materials to improve their accessibility in real-time.

Instructions

Since every individual learns differently, it is vital to provide instructional materials in various formats such as audio/video clip instructions, closed-captioned videos, and PDF versions of presentations or notes where needed. When it comes to written instructions, ensure you follow accurate language grammar rules that are supported by visuals that are easy to read.
Also, your color contrast needs to meet the standard requirements for accessibility which differ depending on the browser or device being used for displaying materials for individuals with color blindness.

Navigation

To ensure even more accessibility for every user of your e-learning platform, it is important to include drop-down menus with labels for the purpose of easy navigation. These labels help users easily navigate the menus without having to use the touchpad or mouse. Also, including keyboard commands makes it easier for visually impaired people and those who have difficulty using a mouse to access all the features of your platform for better engagement.
Ensure Document Accessibility With Ease

Tips and Tricks for Making Your E-learning Courses 508 Compliant

There are certain tips and tricks you can follow to make sure your e-learning courses are Section 508 compliant. Prior to creating your content, you need to review the below-mentioned areas of your course design:

Images

For graphic and image-based content in your course, you need to provide detailed narrations for all the images displayed. For example, a learner that is visually impaired might not respond properly to instructions like “…as shown in Figure A”. To make the content 508 compliant, whatever is depicted in Figure A should be described underneath the image in detail. This technique is also called adding Alt text to images.

Keyboard

The keyboard is the sole means of navigating through the course for people with disabilities. Though the Tab key is generally used as the chief command for navigation, you also need to explore the usage of alternate shortcut keys such as the Space bar.

Sizing Content

Do not assume that people with visual impairments will easily use operating system commands or browser settings to resize their content. You should provide them with text-resizing configuration options within your e-learning material.

Textual Content

Apart from easing the text sizing for 508 accessibility compliance, it is important to go a step further when it comes to designing textual content for learners with disabilities. For example, choosing a Sans Serif font for people with dyslexia can prove to be beneficial.

Voice-Over

It is important to provide voice-over features while designing content for visually impaired people. Voice-over effectively reads out and describes the information displayed on the screen. To obtain optimum results, you should also ensure that the learner is able to control the speed of narration.

Audio Usage

Individuals with Auditory Perceptual Deficits often face difficulties in distinguishing similar-sounding tones. They might also not be able to effectively hear sound over other background noises or tones. Thus, whenever possible, avoid using sounds randomly in your course.
Achieve Digital Accessibility with Professional 508 Compliance Services

Color Considerations

It is important to select your colors wisely. Though a majority of color-blind learners can see things clearly, they find it tough to understand images and text that feature blue, green, or red colors. Take this into consideration while designing your content and avoid using these colors whenever possible.

Drop-Down Menus

Though drop-down boxes can improve the overall design of the course, it is important to note that these are not Section 508 compliant and should be avoided no matter what.

Compliant Video Content

Owing to 508 compliance issues, some e-learning course designers might hesitate from using videos in their courses. Nevertheless, by adding certain descriptions, text prompts, closed captioning, and subtext, you can make your video clips and animated content accessible to people with learning disabilities.

Conclusion

Regardless of whether the law asks you to make your e-learning courses accessible or not, it is always the right thing to do. By applying accessibility standards to your courses, you create a positive impact on the adoption of your courses and boost learner retention. It is vital that you rigorously test your courses for 508 accessibility compliance. Turn on the accessibility features of your computer and run your course from start to finish. This will help you fix any areas that are not accessible.

2023.06.07 13:21 Floridamanridesagain [WTS] I built a WWSD upper. It works great, but I don't like it. Please buy it.

Timestamp: https://i.imgur.com/MzatDnI.jpeg
Complete build list:
BCG: Bad Attitude Department. Bad Kitty marking on rear of BCG.
CH: Radian Raptor SD
Upper: Battle Arms Development Lightweight Billet Upper Receiver
Barrel: Faxon Match Series 16" Gunner, .223 Wylde, Mid-Length, 416-R Stainless QPQ Nitride, 5R, Nickel Teflon Extension (SKU 15BW8M16NGQ-5R-NP3, this is the match barrel with the NP3 barrel extension) https://faxonfirearms.com/faxon-match-series-16-gunner-223-wylde-mid-length-416-r-stainless-qpq-nitride-5r-nickel-teflon-extension-ar-15-barrel/
Rail: JAG Composites SFH 15"
Gas block: Wojtek Weaponry 0.625" set screw "infinitely adjustable"
Optic: Primary Arms SLx 3x microprism, green illumination
Asking $1000 + actual shipping. Roughly 600 rounds through the barrel, just enough to break it in properly, zero the optic, get the gas block adjusted, and have a little fun. Handguard was NOT mounted for any range trips, since I was making sure the gas block was set up correctly, so the handguard is practically brand new.
Payment via Zelle preferred, can also take Venmo or PayPal F&F.
As for what I don't like about it, having a 16" upperifle this light just feels... Weird to me. I'll be sticking with my SBRs.
I am willing to split this up, BUT... The barrel nut is titanium, and I really don't want to scratch it up, so the uppebarrel/handguard must go as a unit, and must got first. If you just want that, the price will be $588 + shipping.
After that's gone, prices are as follows, all + shipping:
BCG: $96
CH: $88
AGB & tube: $30
Optic: $220 (includes box with all the extra risers and such)

2023.06.07 13:20 ToukaMareeee Can't figure out which IxxP type I am.

Hello there. Recently I've been struggling to find my mbti type. I've first been typed as INFP and even though I'm a walkin INFP stereotype, when I started digging deeper into the cognitive functions I figured I don't really use those functions. More recently I've been consistently typed as INTP and ISTP and those functions are more relatable than the INFP set. I also keep in mind ISFP as function wise it's a bit of a middle ground between INFP and ISTP but I've barely been typed as such.
I'm basically asking if any of you here can help me to make it make sense. Or just some simple insight I can take with me when exploring further.
(I'll probably be posting this to the other individual subs later as well. So I'm sorry if you see this more often or if it's counted as a repost)
I'm a very emotional person. But when I say that it's more in a way where I feel my emotions extremely strong, probably because of my autism, rather than that I base my decissions of what I feel. When I make decissions I prefer to use mostly logic and choose the option that makes the most sense. Only in some exceptional situations I go with my gut feeling. I am however very open about my feelings. Hiding them and bottling up would just create problems in the long run. Also in conversations I like having deep talks about philosofy and our feelings just as much as i like long conversations about complex sciences, new theory's and discussions about random stuff while exploring different sides of a story where now feelings are really present. This makes me struggle a lot if I'm more Fi or Ti, and is probably the biggest obstacle here. Personally I think their should be a balance in feelings and logic, and that balance might differ in certain situations. Though I probably lean a bit more towards Ti as I find it more important for things to make sense to me rather than my feelings being valued.
I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie. I prefer some more extreme sports like skiing, mountainbiking and horseriding (mostly crossing and showjumping). Anything with speed or airtime I find easily enjoyable. Be it sports or something ele.
I'm creative and really into arts and crafts. At one hand I've got a lot of ideas for stories and characters and like to visualise those. At the other side I like to just work with my hands and create stuff. Simply doodling or making a 3d puzzle is fun to me. Damn give me some IKEA furniture and I'm occupied.
I've been described as both introverted and extraverted. Mostly because apparantly I'm fun in social activities, and with close friends I'm really energetic. I love going to fairs, festivals and metal concerts. In reality I struggle with small talk and I need time alone for me to recharge after a social gathering despite how much I enjoyed it.
Sometimes my adhd is hyperfixated on something and won't stop researching about it or investigating something untill I figure out how it works.
Though I don't enjoy it and it doesn't come naturally I don't mind taking a leading role in a group project. Also if someone else leads and they're not doing a good job I don't mind telling them.
I mostly try to imagine the consequenses of my actions, there are times where I can be really impulsive and dive into something without thought.
Looking at the functions it seems like the biggest struggle for me to figure out is Fi vs Ti and Ne vs Se. I relate to all of them somehow but it's hard to find out which ones I use the most. Like I said I think I lean a bit more towards Ti but Ne and Se are still a struggle. If I do tests to see if they can guide me somewhere they're both one of the highest functions. Anyone got some thoughts or tips?

2023.06.07 13:17 coolobeano997 Ticket to Ride Legacy: Legends of the West, bringing more depth to the Ticket to Ride world

Ticket to Ride is a game set across the whole world meaning that there is really an endless sea of stories, cutlure, travel and history that can be spoken about, either fictional or not.
There seems to be a trend across video games that are adding in lore and creating backstories and worlds to games that you wouldn't neccessarily expect since the base game itself is so good.
What do you think? Would you prefer more narrative and world building around Ticket to Ride, looking into countries cultures or the history of travel etc? I am very excited to play Legacy personally and was always suprised that the characters on the front of the Ticket to Ride boxes arent used at all in the game. But the base game is so enjoyable that i've never even considered the need for more depth. I just enjoy the strategy.
I know different people have opinions on this and so I wanted to start a discussion :)

2023.06.07 13:14 Nina_Hagen How Can I Stop This Junk Mail?

I opened a new PO box about a year and a half ago, and one of the previous owners subscribed to Murdoch's, which I never shop at, so I'm constantly being bombarded with promotional ads from them, and it's very annoying at this point. Does anybody know how to stop it? I'm sure some people will say "Just throw it away and move on," but it's almost every day that I get one of those, and I don't visit my PO box every day, so I don't want those cluttering it up when I have an actual package or letter coming. I already get enough junk mail as it is with the newspaper that they force you to take and the realty and internet ads, which are just sent to everybody. It'd be nice to have one less thing.
I've already tried going to their website and unsubscribing the address multiple times, yet they are still sending them, and my first time was over a year ago. There's no reason they shouldn't have been able to unsubscribe me by now. I've also tried refusing those ads, but of course the postal employees just put them back in my box and tell me something like "They paid to have that delivered, and we must fulfill that on our end whether you want them or not," which is complete bs. I'm about ready to just push them back through the box on the floor since nobody wants to help, but I'm sure they'll refuse to deliver to me at all then if I do that knowing how USPS is. As of now, I'm to the point where I cross out my address with a Sharpie and then scratch it with a pen to hide any raised text and put it back in the outgoing mailbox so they can't redeliver it to me. I'm sure they just throw it away instead of sending it back to Murdoch's, but at least I can cause them a bit of annoyance since that's what they're doing to me when I explicitly said that I don't want them. It sends a message better than just throwing them away.
I know this probably sounds childish and stupid, but spam really annoys me, especially when it's addressed to the previous owner. I shouldn't have to get mail that I never subscribed to with seemingly no way to opt out. Aren't they supposed to forward that stuff anyway? The poor guy is missing out on his discounts. Maybe I should go in there and have them give me a new PO box. I have no idea at this point.

2023.06.07 13:12 Suspicious_Tune_5884 Is this job for me?

So I am the type of person that gets hyper fixated on things for a short time. I’ll get obsessed with something and I put all my time, effort and energy into it.
I have wanted to do this career since I was in high school but just recently came back to it (I am now 20).
I became obsessed with researching, reading Reddit, watching YouTube videos, joining Facebook groups, applying to every open position I come across etc.
I still have yet to hear back from anyone (which I was getting super down on) but now the glamour and excitement is starting to wear off and I am taking a step back and wondering if this is really a good career choice for me…
My personality might not be the greatest for this LIFESTYLE. I know I am extremely good in costumer service (so not worried for that), but what worries me is the way you have to live(especially in the beginning) of this job.
I love routine and structure and thrive off that. I have always been this way and not much of a free spirit at all. I don’t like change and like predictability. I also love working out and eating healthy and taking care of myself making sure I always tick the boxes off my to do list. I pretty much do the same thing everyday and enjoy that. The thought of not having a consistent schedule and routine freaks me out. But also part of me thinks I could get used to it and it could actually be really good for me getting out of my comfort zone.
I also struggle with extremely controlling OCD. I can also tend to be a germaphobe as well, so gross hotels freak me out.
What do you guys think? I think the job sounds great, but I don’t know if I would truly thrive and enjoy it. Traveling is fun, but doing it alone also sounds like it could be depressing.
I just don’t want to be romanticizing things in my head.
Would love to hear your thoughts. Especially if you came into this career being a rigid control freak. Were you able to adapt?

Incorporating plums into your diet can support cardiovascular health and reduce the risk of hypertension and related complications.

The fiber in plums promotes feelings of fullness and helps control appetite, reducing the likelihood of overeating. Additionally, the natural sugars in plums provide a sweet taste without the added calories of processed sweets, making them a healthier alternative for satisfying sugar cravings while maintaining a calorie-controlled diet.
  10. Supports Liver Health: The antioxidants and phytonutrients found in aloo Bukhara help support liver health and function. The liver is crucial in detoxifying the body and eliminating harmful substances. The antioxidants in plums aid in reducing oxidative stress on the liver and promote its overall well-being. Including plums in your diet can contribute to a healthier liver and improve detoxification processes.
  11. Alleviates Menstrual Discomfort: For women experiencing menstrual discomfort, aloo Bukhara can offer some relief. Consuming plums during this time may provide natural relief and contribute to a more comfortable menstrual cycle.
  12. Enhances Nutrient Absorption: Aloo Bukhara contains certain compounds that enhance the absorption of nutrients from other foods. Specific acids in plums, such as citric acid and malic acid, can aid in breaking down and absorbing essential nutrients like iron, calcium, and other minerals from your food. Including plums in your meals may help optimize nutrient absorption and improve overall nutritional status.

2023.06.07 13:07 shoesandcats Litter types and trays

Ive tried wood pellets, crystal, clay etc I have problems with tracking. I try to scoop out the poo which is easier with crystals and pellets but they get everywhere. Crystals and clay just hurt if you accidentally step on them and the wood pellets dissolve and leave mountains of dust. I try to make the sides on the litter box higher as both my cats love to kick it out.
And no matter how much I try to maintain and clean. The smell just doesn't go away. I air out. I wash the litter tray. I scrub that shit off and yet still, as soon as they're good to go again they just stink.
What's everyone's advice on litter types and trays? I can't deal with this much cleaning outside of the litter trays and the constant smell.
Additional info: Both my cats are healthy, recent vet check ups done, no odd behaviour. They're poo and urine are both normal. It's just the smell tends to build up quite quick with every litter change

2023.06.07 13:05 coolobeano997 Ticket to Ride Legacy: Legends of the West, bringing more depth to the Ticket to Ride world.

2023.06.07 13:04 sluttystraightguy Truth is I hate being single

I’ve been trying to date for the past 5 years. I’ve had some flings but nothing long term. This has made me question my self worth and even has me thinking what’s the point of sticking around ?
I am 27, I made a promise with myself that if I am still single by 35 I am calling it quits and going with suicide at that point. And before you say why don’t enjoy life or whatever. I do because I have no choice but to.
I’ve traveled solo and with friends. I hang out with my friends. I have hobbies like volleyball, kayaking, rock climbing, gardening and dancing. I have a good career. I even bought a house alone. But that does not negate this strong feeling to feel loved and partnered.
And to be honest, a long life of traveling and having fun solo seems bleak and pointless to me when I know what I want in life is to share it with someone.
What really makes it painful is the fact that ever since high school I’ve had bad luck with women and dating . I’ve made my top priority to get in shape, work on my social skills and even go to therapy. All I can say is I’ve gotten more friends out of that work and no romance. I love my friends don’t get me wrong but they do not fulfill need to feel loved.
What drives me crazy even more is I see people who are just shitty individuals just jump into new relationship like it’s nothing while for me I struggle to form one. Like I am curious to know how they do it?
Anyway, this is a vent post. Keep your advice to yourself. I gotta get ready for work.

2023.06.07 13:01 Zwiebeloger Want to start with the NISEI - starterdecks and also, how many sleeves and what colors?

Hello,
I bought the main starter box for the original netrunner but never played it. Now I think about downloading and printing the NISEI starterset. For that I wonder if there are some good starterdecks to get some good examples for runners and corp playstyles I can print out to get some decks stored. Also I want to go to my FLGS today and wonder how many sleeves I will need and if it is a good idea to use another color for the corpo and the netrunner decks ... I think this would be a good idea since the print and play comes without background image ...
Also I donwloaded the german version of the base print and play. My friend doesn't speak english, so we go to the german files ... What else would you recommend for the start?
Regards
Edit: also is there a deckbuilding site like netrunnerdb with the NISEI cards?

2023.06.07 12:57 adydent67 I can feel it

Hi all, I'm doing a song search. Features "I can feel it, i can feel it" the voice of Cal from 2001 space odyssey. May have have existed on one of the renaissance box sets from the 90s. Any ideas what the song and artist might be or which album it might have been on? I'm now replaying the boxsets to see if it jogs my memory, but hope you can help. Can't rest now until I find it.

2023.06.07 12:52 Obvious-Ad3080 Abu playboi

Was flicking through lives this afternoon and Abu Playboi and Simone were going off about the refugee streamers calling them scammers asking people to gift them. They look like they live in tents and may need the money. Someone asked him but you ask people to gift what’s the difference ? They were quick to exclaim no we entertain ! People gift us because we entertain. Left me puzzled how are they providing entertainment ? By playing music through their phone ?
So ironic that they don’t see they are literally begging for money just like these homeless people are that they are attacking.

2023.06.07 12:52 TryretryrT Premonition or an Oopsie

The jist of the backstory is that I used to hangout under a bridge of an abandoned railroad track on the outskirts of town back in 2016/2017. It was just a place that I frequented to unwind. Until one day I decided to clean off the leaves and dirt of a concrete slab and uncovered a pentagram. I jokingly laid an “offering” which was just a large plant that I uprooted from nearby. The newfound context put me on edge and I ended up quickly leaving early on in the night from what I imagine were noises that I otherwise would have ignored any other night.
I went back the next day to grab the portable charger that I left there and on my way back across the bridge to go back into town was a snake near the middle of the bridge on the exact beam I had just walked on just minutes before. I again joked, as a skeptic does, about how I “summoned the serpent”. The place just had an eery feeling after that so it became increasingly rare for me to go there. I don’t really have a cohesive or chronological order for “small” paranormal experiences like whole rows of streetlights turning off as I approach them nor did I ever really attribute anything to that event.
In 2020(?) I had a series of Randonautica experiences that revitalized my belief that there was something “more”. I’ve been using a spirit box on a monthly basis ever since and there’s been plenty of times where the context was spot on, but the inner skeptic in me constantly yearns for something more unexplainable.
So, the spirit box sessions sharply increased to about 2 or 3 times per week a few months ago. And you can probably infer as to what I did when I went back to “The Altar” under the bridge. —————————————————————
On about my 6th visit back to the bridge this past month I was about halfway across and narrated to my camera about how peaceful it felt here tonight. I quickly interjected stating that that’s something you say right before you turn the corner and get scared by something unexpected. I did a quick glance through the gaps of wood to see under the bridge to reassure myself that no one else was here. I still decided it would be best to start the spirit box session above it instead of going straight down.
The 3rd to 5th word was “no camera” “believe” “honestly”. So, I stopped recording and had a heart to heart with myself about why I feel this is a valid endeavor and refreshed my memory on how I think it actually works, with communication potentially being telepathically based and conceptual rather than the external tool we call language. (Note that this was all out loud despite not having a camera on - My presence wasn’t quite or hidden by any means)
I entered a state of mind that I can only describe as giving permission for something to happen. A feeling of anticipation. As I’m thinking about the pentagram and the “lore” of portals, both of which I know little to nothing about, something large suddenly scurried upon the rocks near the entrance of The Altar which was about 8 to 10 feet behind me.
I wasn’t exactly full of courage to do anything besides stand up and shine a dim flashlight in that direction. It took me a few more minutes before I decided to pull the shield out (what I call the camera) and start a debunking process for what I thought were nocturnal eyes staring back at me. Spider web? No. Actual eyes?!?… No, they’re too locked in and following wherever I move. But damn that was a scary thought while it lasted. It was the moon reflecting off the water and being obscured by the leaves of the tree.
That was somehow enough to move my attention elsewhere until I realized I didn’t explain at all what had just happened. I was quickly interrupted by 2 sharp exhales and used that to dictate to the camera that I wasn’t making it up. I eventually caught a glimpse of eyes in the clearing next to the tree-line that they originally fled into. It was 2 doe.
It was a peculiar experience to say the least. What I had said before crossing the river is what prevented me from going down there in the first place. I’m not sure where exactly they came from nor where they were going, but I’m glad I decided against having front row seats.
———————————————————-
There’s so much more details that add to the ambience that I feel I had to leave out. Mostly because I can’t remember where it all fits in… “Practice, Green, phone, quest”(recording on green iPhone) coupled with a cat meowing outside my bedroom window and garage 2-3 times a night for a week straight. Noticing a loud thump on the first video as I was about to cross it that I didn’t acknowledge in the moment, nor any of the subsequent similar noises throughout the first video and first video only… As well as various NEW water noises by the 4th or 5th visit and a whooshing sound (twice) that I never once heard there all brought me back to try to debunk again and again.
On the last visit right when I was about to leave, it sounded like something whimpering on the other side of the bridge. I shined my light and I for sure saw a reflection taller than an opossum/raccoon but shorter than a deer. I blamed it on the reflector of my bike knowing damn well the reflection wasn’t consistent enough to be a stagnant object. I eventually decided to deny everything about it and picked up the phone that I had the spirit box app on. The last thing it had said was “limit” “insight” and I couldn’t have agreed more. I left by walking in the exact direction that I was convinced something was just moments ago. I walked probably about a quarter mile to get to my bike rather than the 200 or so feet the reflection was from before I realized it wasn’t my reflector… I repeated “limit insight” to myself and got goosebumps.
