The pirate he wants to talk about is Shanks, a Figarland, and his potential threat to the WG.

First event will be Donut Race with Nami & Jimbei + vs Laffitte & Burgess
Second event will be Groggy Ring Sanji & Zoro + vs Shiryu & Vasco

Power Metal:
What you may have missed last week...
Ring of Gyges seem to be trying to find a prog niche in sounding a bit like a blend of Leprous and Haken. I don't think they pull it off, but it's a worthwhile effort.
Sirenia is recommended for those that like Anette-led Nightwish. What's here is fairly safe for a single, but I'm sure the rest of the album won't be like the single.
Trespass was a nice listen (I also enjoy the late 70's/early 80's NWOBHM sound), but I can't see myself listening to it beyond an album listen or two (unless there's something that catches me on the album itself).
I feel I should like Sleep Token more for how much I like VOLA, but what's here isn't winning me over immediately. However, it has me interested in more listens , so I consider that a plus.
Despite how much there is this week, that's the only thing worth recommending for me, and even that's only because I enjoy that type of sound so much!

Kids these days seem to love Sleep Token. I don't fully understand where all of the hype comes from, but the songs I've heard are pretty decent and I do want to listen to the full album.Ring of Gyges seem to be trying to find a prog niche in sounding a bit like a blend of Leprous and Haken. I don't think they pull it off, but it's a worthwhile effort.

Rec;Sirenia is recommended for those that like Anette-led Nightwish. What's here is fairly safe for a single, but I'm sure the rest of the album won't be like the single.
Trespass was a nice listen (I also enjoy the late 70's/early 80's NWOBHM sound), but I can't see myself listening to it beyond an album listen or two (unless there's something that catches me on the album itself).
I feel I should like Sleep Token more for how much I like VOLA, but what's here isn't winning me over immediately. However, it has me interested in more listens , so I consider that a plus.

My bias is showing but I quite enjoyed Trespass. It is pretty simplistic so it probably won't stand up to repeated listens but it has the late 70s/early 80s NWoBHM sound that I am very much a fan of.Despite how much there is this week, that's the only thing worth recommending for me, and even that's only because I enjoy that type of sound so much!
