Tried to pick my mounjaro prescription at walgreens and pharmacist says coupon doesnt work?

2023.06.03 13:35 beautifulmessssss Tried to pick my mounjaro prescription at walgreens and pharmacist says coupon doesnt work?

I have been getting my prescription at CVS for the last 3 months and everything was fine till this week when they said they couldn’t fill it anymore cuz im not diabetic. I sent my prescription to Walgreens and when i went to pick it up the coupon is not working. The pharmacist keeps insisting that it only works if the insurance covers some of it. My insurance has never covered it and the coupon has still lowered the price from 1100 to $500. He keeps insisting it doesnt work. Are there any tricks? Does anyone know what could be happening?

2023.06.03 09:35 groover102 Classic Australian novel goes from page to stage as musical

THE only Australian novel continuously in print for 140 years is being brought to life as a musical.
Based on the book by Ethel Turner and directed by Kimberley Shaw at Stirling Theatre, Seven Little Australians is the story of a family with seven unruly children growing up in 1880s Sydney.
Widower Captain Woolcot re-marries a young and beautiful girl, not much older than his eldest daughter, and together the family share the trials and triumphs of life in colonial times.
“It’s a musical with lots of heart that appeals to audiences of all ages, whether you take your children or grandmother,” Kimberley said.
“Lovers of the original book will be pleased the most memorable aspects of the novel are all there but the musical has added some great production numbers, such as Walking the Block, a bush dance in Yarrahappini and the children’s French class.”
The main challenge, according to Kimberley, is working with very small children in the cast.
“Our children are wonderful but even the brightest four-year-old has a limited attention span and sometimes just wants to do their own thing,” she said.
“Having said that, the children also make our rehearsals very fun.”
Involved in theatre for more than 30 years, Kimberley has worked with Blak Yak, KADS, Playlovers, Roleystone, Stirling and Kwinana Theatres and the Koorliny Arts Centre and is currently president of the Independent Theatre Association.
She has several awards to her credit, twice-winning best production and best youth production at Dramafest, the annual state drama festival, and also scoring the best musical gong at the Finley Awards four times – most recently for Curtains.
Seven Little Australians appealed because I thought it would be lovely to do a family show for a change, as my last few shows have had more adult content,” Kimberley said.
“I loved the book as a child and I enjoy doing shows that are a little offbeat.
“This musical had a so-called national tour when it premiered in 1988 but never reached Perth so, to the best of our knowledge, it has never been performed in Western Australia.”
Seven Little Australians plays at 7.30pm July 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22 with 2pm matinees July 9 and 16. Tickets are $25, $23 concession and $20 members – book at trybooking.com/CDWVR.
Stirling Theatre is at 25 Morris Place, Innaloo.
It’s a family affair for Isabella Borgault du Coudray, far left, and Mathew Leak, far right, in Seven Little Australians with Jessica Keenan, Ciara Malone, Boh Dobson, Daniel Keenan, Escher Roe, Mila Rose Campbell and Alice Kosovich.

My personal favorite feature is the windows on one side overlook beautiful trees and my cat loves looking at the birds If you're interested and would like some pictures, let me know. Thank you

2023.06.03 07:31 AldoHuxley Walgreens Credit Card Fraud??

I work in a Walgreens at MD and my GM kept asking to sell credit cards at my store insisting id get a $3 commission for every card I sold. So I gave in and began to sell them pretty quickly. I sold maybe like 15 cards in one week and my GM was very happy including the DM and aparantly his boss as well. I got a pat on the back and a shout out on the theatro messages (they called me the credit card king lol). However I didnt get paid. My manager called me and said that I had been missinformed about the commission but its okay bc "good things are coming" she explained how she can either promote me to SL or even get hired at the district and how everyone knows my name for selling so many cards in such span of time. However I feel like I have been played, I really only sold the cards for the $$$ all for it to turn out that I wont get nothing but a pat on the back. Is this fraud?? Id so what can I do about it? It gets me really upset given that I have out preformed everyone else in the district. Any advice will be of help. Thank you!

2023.06.03 07:08 EggplantNegative6814 Gilmore Girls Fan Fest September 28-October 1

Do you or someone you know really like (or, like me, LOVE) Gilmore Girls?!
Then, you need to attend Gilmore Girls Fan Fest in Ogunquit, Maine this year (9/28/23 to 10/1/23) alongside me and many other amazing fans!
I have attended every Fan Festival Event. In 2019, when Fan Fest was held in Unionville, Canada, I even got to see many of the locations utilized for the pilot episode.
Along the way, I have built a family. I cannot adequately describe the event in words but will do my best to answer any questions that you may have.
If you’re on the fence about attending, please let me know, and hopefully I can help persuade you. It truly is a magical and life changing event.
Unfortunately, if ticket sales don’t increase substantially, this will be the last event. So, please realize that “attending next year” may not be an option.
Tickets are a little pricey ($405 plus a small ticketing fee), but everything except hotel & food (and any transportation to and from the event) is included into your ticket price. You won’t need to pay extra for meet and greets or photo ops, you won’t need to pay a separate fee to attend panels. It’s all included.
This year the fan fest society has announced; • Kathleen Wilhoite (Liz Danes) • Scott Cohen (Max Medina) • Vanessa Morano (April Nardini) • Aris Alvarado (Caesar) • Emily Kuroda (Mrs. Kim) .Valerie Campbell, Key Set Costumer for all but the first 9-10 episodes of the original series and costume supervisor from the Netflix revival (she has the best stories!) + Ky from the Vibe with Ky (on tiktok & Instagram) will be moderating the cast panel again, & we LOVE Ky!
More guests will be added when additional ticket sales allow for it.
If you’re at all interested in more info, please feel free to ask me in the comments.
Tickets are available here —> https://www.thefanfestsociety.com/tickets/tickets-to-the-firelight-event-in-ogunquit-maine
And if you’d be so inclined to mention my name (Meghan Phillips) at checkout, it would be greatly appreciated.
I hope to see you in Maine this year!

2023.06.03 05:37 Ineedtendiesinmylife How to get diagnosis and prescription accessibly?

I know I have ADHD. I've known all my life. I don't care about being heard, or figuring out whether I have it, or talking about my struggles, I know that I have ADHD. All I want is to be treated for it. I've tried the sunshine and fresh air and exercise method, it doesn't work, although it's nice.
I'd like to get a diagnosis, so I can get accomodations at my workplace, and a prescription, to start treating my ADHD. I set an appointment with Donefirst, because I saw nothing but good reviews here on reddit- but now that I'm searching it again, I'm seeing mostly bad reviews on reddit and on their site. Saying they get you a prescription, but then leave you hanging for weeks in between refills, have poor customer service, etc. Plus now I'm seeing articles saying that rite aid, walgreens, cvs etc, all the big pharmacies, aren't accepting prescriptions from Donefirst or any telemedicine provider. So I don't know where I'd even pick it up if I did get a prescription.
So I'm just... lost now. I thought I was doing a good thing, I thought I figured it out, and now even if I back out of the Donefirst appointment I wasted ten bucks on it nothing. I'm so tired of not having my adhd treated, I'm a fucking high school dropout and I can't even study for a dirt-easy GED because I can't fucking focus on anything. I'm not stupid, I just can't focus.
I don't know what to do, I just want a cheap, reliable way to get a diagnosis and prescription for adhd, with refills that aren't like pulling teeth. I don't have insurance, the only way I was planning on paying for the medicine was with the Takeda program to get free vyvanse if you're under a certain income threshold. The $80 a month that Done is was already a not-fun hit with my current situation financially.
Sorry to rant, uh.. tl;dr any suggestions?

2023.06.03 05:21 umioe i’m over it!!

I’ve been a pharmacy tech at Walgreens for over a year now and I can’t take it anymore. We have no staff, and the staff we do have refuse to do evening/closing shifts. So everyone gets to leave by 4,5, & 6 while me and MAYBE one other tech + a pharmacist deal with the rest of the day. We always have floater pharmacists that never know what they’re doing and they’re often the closers for us. Oh and we’re also expected to have all the phone calls done, trash and dpi taken out and the store to be picked up before we leave. It’s nearly impossible.. and we’re a high volume store so we’re ALWAYS busy no matter what. We have both lanes in drive thru always full and a line going into the aisles all evening. It’s so stressful and don’t even get me started on all the bs cenfil is putting us through right now. The customers just get more rude and irate everyday and I have never gone a whole shift without being verbally abused. I feel like I’m at my breaking point and putting in a two weeks notice right now sounds like a dream. I’d just feel guilty for making staffing even worse but I’m not sure I can hang on to this unappreciative job. I’ve had to be put on anti-depressants/anxiety meds just to be able to clock in and be able to deal with what I’m about to be faced with. I feel so defeated.

2023.06.03 05:17 Kayden632 Trade schools, apprenticeships or contract to work options?

I'm 25 years old and I don't have a college degree. I have mental health issues that make it hard to work with a boss right over my head or dealing with the general public. I'd love a position that is lower stress like stocking shelves however I have chronic pain issues which don't allow me to do heavy lifting or alot of time on my feet.
I've looked into CDL for trucking which offer contract you sign that if you complete trucking school they pay it for you if you agree to work for them for 1 year afterwards. But I'd have to reapply for my lisence after willingly giving it up because last year I didn't have the $25 to transfer my regular drivers lisence from one state to another and I needed to prove residency for food pantry help.
I've also heard walgreens has a program that if you've worked for them before you can apply for a pharmacy tech in training position that's learning on the job. So, I'd have to get a job at walgreens first since I have no pharmacy expirence.
I know tattoo artists sometimes take apprentices but even though im creative I've never been able to draw so I'm not sure that would be the way to go.
I've heard there's other trades like electricians, HVAC repair, etc.
I'm hoping to get into a program that is paid training as I am not able to afford schooling because I currently don't have a job.
I love animals and working with kids but I'm unsure if there's any easy ways of getting into those paths without college. My current subsidized housing apartment has a rule in my lease that I can't attend college while living here as there's a tax rule it breaks. I'm assuming because if the goverment is already helping me with housing then they wouldn't want to help me with school too?

So I'm half asleep but how would I go about seeing what manufacturer a pharmacy uses for modafinil, without calling each individual pharmacy and asking? Walgreens no longer stocks Aanything but Bionpharma and it's just not working at all. I know an insurance will be it's own issue (my keyboard won't let me backspace i'm sorry for errors) but I dont even know where to begin.
