2023.06.08 01:15 TheMedsPeds So apparently that 2021 "everyone can get a job if they want it" thing is a lie. Accepting any donations
I walked out of a toxic job and have been filling out apps nonstop (did this Friday) and haven't received a call or email. Any penny helps. My BF works full time, but he only makes $15 an hour. Our rent is $1350 a month. So his income will literally only cover rent and utilities. I heard finding a job was super easy and places were begging for workers. This is not the case. I know no one will probably see this but it can't hurt to ask.
Then on top of that my boyfriend noticed a lump in his throat Sunday and started having pain so he went to the dentist this morning (neither of us have insurance so he had to pay out of pocket) turns out it was infected and he had to have it removed. So there goes a month's worth of groceries. I am still looking for jobs obviously but am running out of places to apply.
Comment if you are willing to help and I will DM you my cash app or whatever.

2023.06.08 01:14 Negative_Sock4219 History of the Swarmlords battles pre 10th!
With 10th edition right around the corner and with its focus on the Nids. I thought it be fun to showcase the Swarmlords various battles and try and get a good idea where he should stand as threat. Since he can comeback stronger every time, I hope we get to see him fight someone like Trajann Valoris. If the nid are going to invade Terra that is.
BATTLES: - Vs Calgar: Couldn't find a quote, however it comes from "Codex Tyranid (5th & 6th edition)". At "the Battle of Cold Steel Ridge" on Macragge the Swarmlord directed Hive Fleet Behemoth to defeat every one of Marneus Calgar's tactics. Calgar himself was almost killed by the Swarmlord, but managed to escape alive with the help of his Honour Guard while the Swarmy killed the Commander of the Guard Aloyseus. The Swarmlord led the attack on the polar fortresses of Macragge defended by Captain Invictus of the Ultramarines' elite 1st Company. In the end, the entire 1st Company was killed and official Imperial reports listed the Swarmlord as slain at that time. Calgar has a rematch with Swarmy in Ichar IV. With Calgar evening the score by killing the Hive Tyrant.
- Vs Ortan Cassius: Couldn't find a quote, however it comes from "Space Marine Legends: Cassius". He killed the Swarmlord & his Tyrant guard with the assistance of a squad of like 10 marines. However, the only reason he managed to pull it off is because, the Swarmlord wanted to end the fight quickly. So, he resorted to a psychic attack. Unfortunately for Swarmy Cassius had been training with Tigurius on his psychic resistance. So, while the Swarmlord had his back on him. Cassius manage to recover quickly, and surprise attack the Swarmy. He hit Swarmy's head with a powered crozius. The Swarmlord's head was then doused with fire from Cassius' combi-bolter's flamer and was forced onto its knees. There Cassius' squadmates pumped its vital organs full of Hellfire rounds while the Chaplain repeatedly beat its head with his powered Crozius. This continued for a few minutes until Swarmy died.
- Vs Prince Yriel: to be honest not much of a fight. Swarmy kinda just gets one-shot by Yriel using a Crone-Sword. - (Valedor):
”He landed lightly upon the gory corpse of a fallen giant. Before him the swarmlord loomed, taller than a wraithknight and greatly more massive. Its eyes glittered at him with malign intelligence.
‘Great Dragon!’ Yriel called, holding aloft the Spear of Twilight. ‘I come to slay you, as my forefather Ulthanash slew the wyrm Draoch-var with this very blade!’
Three huge creatures lumbered at Yriel, directed by the psychic command of the leader-beast, but he leapt aside from their swipes, the spear granting him unparalleled reflexes. One and then another fell, pierced by the pin point lance beams of the prince’s followers as he bounded closer to his prey. Roaring, the swarmlord attacked, driving down a claw twelve paces long at Yriel. He back-flipped, the wind of its passing stirring his hair. The tip of the claw slammed down into a carcass, slowing the hive tyrant for the merest heartbeat as it tugged it free, but it was enough. The prince landed on his feet. Smoothly he drew back his arm and cast the spear of Ulthanash at the creature. The spear screamed a polyphonic wrath-song as it hurtled through the air, passing in an eyeblink to pierce the jaw of the swarmlord, drive up through the soft mouth into the swollen brain case, and emerge, gleaming, from the top of the armoured skull.
The swarmlord toppled, lifeless. Yriel yelled in exultation, feeling more alive than he had in many cycles. He had become jaded by his life as a corsair. But this! This was the theatre of life full in the round!
- Vs 3 Custodes: Fought three Custodians, killing two and was fighting on par with their Shield Captain. - (Duty Unto Death):
”A single pod cut through the toxic fumes and the burning sky, hammering into the centre of the plain and the milling confusion of the alien horde. There was an instant realignment, like constellations suddenly clarified in the heavens. The army turned as one, unified by singular purpose once more. The thing which tore itself free from the spore-pod was immense, the pinnacle of genetic mastery and a paragon of inhuman might. The greatest bio-scholars of Terra could not decide whether it was a consciousness in its own right, or an immune response of the hive mind – brought into being when the tide was set against it.
The swarmlord raised its head and bellowed as it rushed forward to meet them.
iIt closed the distance in what seemed like moments. A blur, the storm given form. Blades scissored down against the Custodians. They blocked, even their movements too slow. Bio-electric fields warred with the power fields of their weapons in a whine of feedback and a shower of sparks. It forced Varamach to his knees, and the great cleaver blade descended, burying itself in the armour of his neck. There was a spasm and a gout of blood, and he had only a moment to drive his spear up and into its flesh before he fell. Another loss, too massive to countenance. Natreus ducked under its guard and slashed across its chest, but the swarmlord brought all four of its blades to bear. It pinned Natreus, blades barely containing him as he struggled, blood coating them in furious smears. The Custodian’s spear fell from his grasp, and the swarmlord cast him to the dust.*
Only Tamerlain remained. He broke into a run, swinging his axe as he advanced. The heavy castellan blade impacted against one of the boneswords, chipping it. There was no surprise in its dead eyes, only a snarl of alien hate.
‘This is His domain,’ Tamerlain said, not caring whether or not it could hear or understand. ‘I am His servant, and you shall not end me with my duty yet undone.’ He moved beneath its dance of blades, feeling them scrape against his armour – turned aside by angle, speed and the armour’s inherent strength. It snarled, dripping venom as it stabbed down at him. He dropped to his knees, his hand finding Natreus’ spear. ‘Forgive me,’ he whispered, and drove the unpowered blade up with such force that it cracked the monster’s armoured sternum. It slammed one of its blade limbs into his side, and he brought his axe up again. An arm flew free in a gush of sour fluid, and it batted him aside with the flat of another blade.
They were evenly matched. Opposites. Mirrors. One the pinnacle of human genetic mastery, the other a crescendo of accelerated hyper-evolution. One was golden, the other base.
They fought down the burning slopes, even as the tyranid swarm wove around them in a tightening noose. By-blows obliterated swathes of brood organisms. The swarmlord did not care as it scythed through its own, as it drove Tamerlain back. He fought with every century of his experience behind him. He could feel the names carved into his armour, pressed against his flesh. Each carried a burden.
He moved as fast as he was able, raising his axe to block and parry or to cut and slash. Their melee devolved into a grinding brawl, drawn out and bitter. He tensed as he fought, feeling the dull ache of fatigue. He struck for its thorax, cleaving it open even as it brought two of its blades round.
It pincered him in place. He felt something break in his armour’s systems, his gauntlet clenching in palsy. He closed his eyes and focused. It was more gruelling and more intense than any Blood Game he had run in the service of the Throne, more pressing than any battle of his long years. He felt his fingers close, finally, around the hilt of his misericordia dagger, and pulled it free. He pushed it up and drove it into the thing’s snarling visage. Dissonator spirits engaged with a flare and the blade blazed golden for a glorious instant as it sank through flesh and chitin. The beasts screamed, every last one of them howling in animal agony.
Tamerlain kicked out his leg and drove the dying monster back. Behind him, the world roared again – in sympathetic victory.
- Vs Dante: - (Devastation of Baal):
" Fifty yards away was the largest hive tyrant Dante had ever seen. Upon backward-hinged legs it stood taller than a Dreadnought. Red spore clouds pumped from the chimneys on its high back. Bonded to its fists were four matched boneswords, with heavy ends as square and brutal as cleavers. He had heard of this thing, the galaxy’s bane, the hive mind personified.
Commander Dante faced the Swarm Lord.
His perception coalesced around the monster. Reality reasserted itself, his visions driven off by the sheer physicality of the hive mind. The past gave way to the present. The sounds of battle returned, albeit muted. The horde was broken into pieces. The howling of his blood-mad warriors was scattered, so isolated there could only have been a few of them left.
In the monster’s eyes glimmered an ancient and powerful intellect. As old as he was, Dante felt like a newborn babe compared to the intelligence staring at him through that unblinking gaze. He sensed that there were two beings looking at him. The monster, and the being that controlled it. They were separate, yet one. A sense of crushing psychic might emanated from it, so great its grasp encompassed galaxies. There was sophistication there, and terrifying intelligence, but all were outweighed by its bottomless, eternal hunger.
For the moment that the man and the monster stared into one another’s souls, Dante pitied it. The hunger of the hive mind made the Red Thirst trivial by comparison.
A rumble sounded in the monster’s throat. Muscle fibres exposed by gaps in its chitinous armour contracted; that was all the warning Dante received. There was no threat display, no roar to intimidate, it simply hurled itself into the attack. The hive mind was nothing if not efficient.
Despite its size, the Swarm Lord moved with staggering speed. Its alien anatomy made its attacks difficult to predict, and Dante found himself fending off a blur of jagged bone. Crystal veins glittered in the blades, generating a shimmering energy field like none Dante was familiar with.
The Swarm Lord’s weapons met the Axe Mortalis with a thunderous boom. Dante reeled back from the blow, letting out a brief blast from his jump pack to steady himself, dodging narrowly to the right to avoid a return strike from the Swarm Lord’s two left-hand swords. He ignited his jump pack fully, making a short leap backwards as the swords from the right smashed into the desert where he had been standing. The energy field encasing the blade exploded the sand.
As the beast slammed down its weapons he snapped off a quick shot with the perdition pistol. His aim was honed by centuries of practice. The meltabeam cut a roiling line through the air, connecting with the Swarm Lord’s lower left elbow joint. An explosion of steam carried the smell of broiled meat out towards Dante, and the thing’s arm went limp.
It made no cry of pain. As it moved forward, its useless arm snagged on the ground. With an total lack of human emotion, it severed the crippled limb with a sword blow and moved in to re-engage. Dante leapt again, jets on full burn. He swooped low, darting in to strike and withdraw. His fuel indicators plummeted, but Dante remained aloft, soaring away from bonesword strikes with expertly timed exhaust bursts. His blows left a dozen smoking scars in the Swarm Lord’s carapace. It responded with a buffeting storm of psychically generated terror that had no effect on the Space Marine lord, so deep in the thirst was he. The thirst grew in Dante until he stood on the brink of the Black Rage, a pit he could never climb from. He resisted the urge to finally throw himself in. The strength this last surrender would grant him would be formidable, but his mind would be gone for good, and so he would perish. Not until this thing was slain would he abandon his last shreds of self-control. He had to know that it was dead.
He focused on his hate, on his desire to kill, on his need to rip this interloper’s head from its shoulders and cast it to the sand.
The Swarm Lord’s armour was thickest on its shoulders, head and back. They duelled for long minutes, Dante landing so many blows that the edge of his fabled axe dulled, and its power unit vented black smoke. All his skill could draw but a little blood. The Swarm Lord snapped and swung at him with undiminished might.
Dante needed a decisive blow soon. The Swarm Lord’s endurance would outlast his own, and one lucky strike from the beast’s weapons could end the fight long before exhaustion set in. So Dante dived in again, axe held low in the manner of a cavalryman stooping in the saddle to strike with his sabre. Jinking through swinging boneswords and into the spore cloud issuing from the Swarm Lord’s chimneys, he raked the blade of his weapon across the leader beast’s face, catching it across one eye. He was momentarily blinded by the swirl of red microorganisms belching from its back, and forced to touch down.
The two combatants wheeled to face each other. The chitin around the Swarm Lord’s right eye was cut down to a gleam of bone. Ichor and humours from its ravaged eye wet its cheek.
Dante smiled coldly. ‘I shall take your other eye, and then I shall kill you.’ In return the leader beast shrieked, a psychic assault that channelled the polyphonous voice of the hive mind into a concentrated mental blow. Dante reeled under the combined sonic-psionic blast. Something gave inside him. He tasted blood at the back of his throat. His mind suffered more than his body, and he staggered back, dazed, his axe dragging through the sand.
The Swarm Lord seized the opportunity and ran at the commander again. Dante blasted backwards, but even as it charged the Swarm Lord assailed Dante with fresh psychic attacks, sending out a lance of psionic energy that cut through his armour into his leg and knocked Dante wheeling from the air. He slammed into the ground with bone-jarring force. His face slammed into his helm, breaking his nose. The terror field halo around Sanguinius’ golden mask buckled and gave out in a skittering crawl of psychic energy. His iron halo’s energy field failed with a bang.
The thing screamed again. Dante’s being was deadened from the soul outward. His vision swam. The energy his thirst gave him was stolen away. The Swarm Lord thundered at him, head down, three swords back, ready to strike. Dante regained enough of his wits just in time, activating his jump pack while he was still on his back. The jets sent him scraping across the ancient rockcrete and sand of the landing fields at high speed, drawing a shower of sparks from his armour. Alarms wailed from every system of his battleplate.
A second, brain-rattling impact shook him as he connected with the wreck of a Land Raider. The systems diagnostics for his jump pack wailed at high alert, red danger runes blinking all over his helmplate. With a thought, he jettisoned his jump pack, rolling free of the stuttering jump unit as the Swarm Lord barrelled into the tank wreck with such force it lifted from the ground. The Swarm Lord turned on him quickly, grinding Dante’s jump pack into a pool of fire and sundered metal under its broad hooves. The Land Raider slammed back down.
More alarms rang in Dante’s helm. On standard battleplate, a jump pack took the place of a Space Marine’s reactor pack, replicating most of its functions as well as providing limited flight capability. Without it, Dante was left in a suit of armour with only residual power.
He had seconds left of combat effectiveness at the most. Emergency battery icons clamoured for his attention, bars sliding quickly down to red emptiness.
The Swarm Lord screamed. Psychically induced horror buffeted Dante’s mind, tormenting him with dread. Dante roared back, unafraid.
‘I am of the Lord of the Blood,’ he said, as he broke into a run, the alarms of his dying armour wailing in his ears. ‘What I do, I do for he who made me. No personal ambition is mine. No glory do I seek. No salvation for my soul or comfort for my body. No fear do I feel.’ The Swarm Lord swung at Dante hard. Dante retaliated with a counter blow, shattering the bone sabre. Thick alien fluids pumped from the broken blade. The eye set into its hilt rolled madly, and it began to shrill. ‘By his Blood was I saved from the selfishness of flesh.’
The Swarm Lord was unmoved by the death of its symbiotic blade. The stroke continued downward, the remains of the sword catching Dante below his breastplate and penetrating his plastron. A combination of Dante’s impetus and the Swarm Lord’s immense strength punched the bone fragment deep into his body, penetrating his secondary heart, scraping on his spine, and exiting the other side of his torso.
The creature snarled in what would have been triumph in any other species. Dante’s formidable progress was arrested. Hissing deeply, the Swarm Lord lifted Commander Dante off the ground, armour and all. Warm blood ran down inside Dante’s bodyglove. Toxins leaked from the Swarm Lord’s weapon, sending spiders of agony crawling along his nerves.
‘By his Blood was I elevated.’ It was over. He began the Mors Votum. The Swarm Lord lifted him high, screaming in victory, and swung its arm down to flick Dante from the blade’s shard so it might finish him on the sand.
Reactive foams bubbled from Dante’s armour, bonding him firmly to the remnants of the Swarm Lord’s blade.
‘By his Blood do I serve.’
The beast hesitated, only for a fraction of a second, but it was enough. As it was raising its remaining two blades to cut Dante in two, the commander raised the perdition pistol. His armour died on him, its systems starved of power, growing heavier with every second as his life ran from his body. His aim did not waver.
‘My life I give to the Emperor, to Sanguinius, and to mankind,’ he intoned. The Swarm Lord’s face was reflected in the dulled metal of Dante’s mask.
Sanguinius’ face shouted silently at the hive mind.
Dante disengaged the weapon’s failsafes with a flick of his thumb.
‘My service is done. I give thanks. My life is finished. I give thanks. Blood returns to blood. Another will take up my burden in my stead. I give thanks.’
He fired the perdition pistol at point-blank range into the Swarm Lord’s face. Its flesh liquefied and boiled off as superheated steam. Its first bonesword bounced from Dante’s armour, ripping long scratches into its decoration. Bloodstones fell from their mounts. Still Dante held his aim true. The pistol’s power pack grew so hot with thermal feedback it blistered his skin through his ceramite. Still he did not relent. The fusion beam bored through the creature’s organic armour. Thermic biogels bled from cavities in the chitin, but they could not stay the perdition pistol’s beam. The weapon glowed with white heat. The Swarm Lord reared backwards. Its cries became gurgles as its tongue cooked in its head. Desperate to be free of Dante, it severed its own wrist with a clumsy strike. Dante blacked out for a moment from the pain of the bone shard jarring his organs as he hit the floor. When he came to he was lying on the ground. The Swarm Lord slumped to its knees alongside him. Its movements were feeble. Keening quietly, it fell forward, chest heaving. Air whistled through its breathing spiracles, then ceased. Dante rolled his head to one side. One of the boneswords lay close to his face. The eye set into its hilt stared hatred at him before dimming. The pupil dilated. The sword, too, was dead.
Dante took a painful breath. Fluid bubbled in his lungs. His body ached all over from the tyranid’s poison.
He was dying."
- Vs the Overfiend: Couldn't find a quote, however it comes from "War Zone Octarius, Book 2: Critical Mass". The Swarmlord face the second largest ork in the galaxy twice. The first time he charged at the Overfiend, battleling for hours nonstop. However, the Overfiend after getting a shot off at the Swarmlord's midriff, decapitated swarmy. Swarmy angrily was rebirth in a bioship ready for round 2. In said round the Swarmlord bid his time. Only jumping into the fight after the Overfiend had been wounded by a carnifex. He then uses his agility to evade the Overfiend's attacks, in an attempt to tire him. The Overfiend however never relented nor slowed down yet in the midst of a swing the Swamrlord found an opening. Which he use to cut the cable of the Overfiends power-claw. With his power-claw now slowing him down the Swarmlord made quick work out of him. Eating his brains in the process.

2023.06.08 01:14 Wotmate01 # This subreddit will be joining in on the June 12th-14th protest of Reddit's API changes that will essentially kill all 3rd party Reddit apps.
What's going on?
A recent Reddit policy change threatens to kill many beloved third-party mobile apps, making a great many quality-of-life features not seen in the official mobile app permanently inaccessible to users.
On May 31, 2023, Reddit announced they were raising the price to make calls to their API from being free to a level that will kill every third party app on Reddit, from Apollo to Reddit is Fun to Narwhal to BaconReader.
Even if you're not a mobile user and don't use any of those apps, this is a step toward killing other ways of customizing Reddit, such as Reddit Enhancement Suite or the use of the old.reddit.com desktop interface .
This isn't only a problem on the user level: many subreddit moderators depend on tools only available outside the official app to keep their communities on-topic and spam-free.
What's the plan?
On June 12th,
many subreddits will be going dark to protest this policy. Some will return after 48 hours: others will go away permanently unless the issue is adequately addressed, since many moderators aren't able to put in the work they do with the poor tools available through the official app. This isn't something any of us do lightly: we do what we do because we love Reddit, and we truly believe this change will make it impossible to keep doing what we love.
The two-day blackout isn't the goal, and it isn't the end. Should things reach the 14th with no sign of Reddit choosing to fix what they've broken, we'll use the community and buzz we've built between then and now as a tool for further action. What can you do as a user?
- Complain. Message the mods of /reddit.com, who are the admins of the site: message reddit: submit a support request: comment in relevant threads on /reddit, such as this one, leave a negative review on their official iOS or Android app- and sign your username in support to this post.
- Spread the word. Rabble-rouse on related subreddits. Meme it up, make it spicy. Bitch about it to your cat. Suggest anyone you know who moderates a subreddit join the coordinated mod effort at /ModCoord.
- Boycott and spread the word...to Reddit's competition! Stay off Reddit entirely on June 12th through the 13th- instead, take to your favorite non-Reddit platform of choice and make some noise in support!
- Don't be a jerk. As upsetting this may be, threats, profanity and vandalism will be worse than useless in getting people on our side. Please make every effort to be as restrained, polite, reasonable and law-abiding as possible.
What can you do as a moderator?

2023.06.08 01:13 thisisnotaflubbel Hardwire a battery-powered LED webcam light.
Hi all, I am trying to hardwire a portable, USB-C charged webcam light so that I can operate it with a switch along the charging line. My goal is to set the brightness and color hue knobs manually, and then any time I flip the switch the light comes on. It is normally operated by a 3.7v 3100mAh battery. If I unwire the battery and plug the USB in, the light will not turn on when I turn the power knob (above battery input terminals). If I plug the USB in, turn the light on, and then remove the battery, the light will stay on. When the battery is removed and the USB is plugged in, I am getting about 4v at the battery positive terminal. This makes sense to me because it would normally be charging the battery, but I am at a loss as to why the plug-sourced power can’t power the light itself. Any help would be appreciated, and I would welcome any suggestions on if there’s a simple bridge I could solder to allow the light to work without the battery. Thank you! submitted by thisisnotaflubbel to AskElectronics [link] [comments]
2023.06.08 01:13 OsddCat Work switching insurance, therapist of 2.5+ years out of network, wants to discuss 'winding down'
I have been seeing my therapist for quite a while. She identified the dissociative disorder, parts etc. We have been making pretty great progress. My job is changing insurance companies and she will be out of network which I can't afford. They gave me a continuation of care form so I could continue to see her in network.
We met today and she told me she does not do single case agreements due to how crappy it is to work with some insurance companies. She said if she would do it for anyone it would be for me but she can't.
I was like well how am I supposed to keep seeing you once a week? And she said let's plan meetings strategically over the next month and start winding down.
I am heart broken, I don't think that meeting once a month will be nearly as helpful, plus I enjoy meeting with her. She would've offered a sliding scale rate if she wanted to but she has not.
I called a hotline multiple times today, some parts are completely devastated, others are pissed. It feels like I'm going through grieving phases of someone dying and it's coming in waves throughout the day.
I feel stupid for having gotten so attached to someone who is doing this for their job.

2023.06.08 01:13 thenudeplatypus Am I on the Latest Ioniq Update?? (US, California)
To preface, when I check my Ioniq for updates it says there is an OTA update available, but to check/fix the device that was plugged. I am not able to download the update via OTA, regardless of what is plugged into that USB port. Instead, I followed what many of you posted on here: I downloaded all of the available update files using the Hyundai USB update downloader app on my Mac and burned the update to my USB. Now when I installed the software via the newly burned USB drive, it ONLY prompts that the fire is for the “Audio System Update”. I let the update complete and I’ve posted photos of what the version numbers are now. I was under the impression that there was a new route/charging planning feature added to the navigation, but my Maps app doesn’t look the way it does on the Hyundai site ( https://update.hyundai.com/US/EN/updateNoticeView/bapU9Q). RE: this feature, Am I doing something wrong? Or not looking in the right place? RE: the update as a while, Am I on the latest versions of everything or should I try to re-flash my USB and install it again? Would my car actually prompt me and tell me it’s updating the Infotainment system, or would it just continue to say “Audio System Update”? Also, how the heck am I supposed to get OTA updates working? It would be very frustrating going to a dealer to handle this stuff, as we all know they tend to be complete morons and it’s just a waste of time. Thanks for any help you all can provide! submitted by thenudeplatypus to Ioniq5 [link] [comments]

Researching my first build in about 7 years, currently running a 1080 and 4th gen i5. I’ve spent countless hours researching and feel I have a solid build.
What my ask here is; am I overpaying? E.g, 4080 vs 7900xtx, the case? CPU AIO overkill for x3d cpu? Was also considering cheaper 7700 cpu.
I want high FPS 1440p high/ultra setting for a few years, with option for 4k but also keen to not throw money away..
Any general feedback welcome.

On May 17th 2022, Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence & Security Ronald S. Moultrie and Deputy Director of Naval Intelligence Scott W. Bray, both gave congressional testimony on UAP matters. Weeks later, angered by what they saw as a lack of candor by Bray and Moultrie, Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.) and Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) proposed a radical new amendment to the upcoming Fiscal Year 2023 National Defense Authorization Act. It passed the House by overwhelming bipartisan support, had many tough regulations that had third parties such as Inspector Generals and the Government Accountability Office, spearhead independent investigations into the US military and Intelligence agencies UAP secrecy apparatus.
It also included a new secure system for whistleblowers to provide UAP information, and harsh whistleblower protections such as allowing whistleblowers to sue the Government in Federal court if government officials took reprisals against them and mandating that any UAP related whistleblower complaints, be quickly sent to congress for review. It created the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), a new government UAP investigative body and importantly, would have various independent Inspector Generals, overseeing the work of AARO.
Then something strange happened.
When the Senate version of the bill came out of committee,
almost all of the third party oversight language had been removed with no explanation, and their responsibilities given directly to AARO. AARO would have no one looking over their shoulder to make sure there were no shenanigans. Inspector Generals would no longer be doing historic reviews of military/intelligence UAP secrecy to find the truth. The new changes would in effect, allow the military and intelligence agencies to investigate themselves thru AARO. Also removed was the ability of whistleblowers to sue the government if they were retaliated against.
Unknown members of various military and intelligence agency oversight committees in congress had stripped out the teeth of the original amendment that passed the house. To date, no one knows why this was done, or by whom. This watered-down version was ultimately passed into law.

2023.06.08 01:11 Baby_Button_Eyes Jake & Rosa meet Mulder and Scully (B99 and X-Files crossover) (AI story)
I’ve been having fun creating “new“ scenarios for the B99 squad with AI chatbot. Not sure if anyone likes reading made up stories but visualizing this one really entertained me.
The first is my “script” version. Then the case from Jake’s point of view and then one from Rosa’s.
Script:
Agents Mulder & Scully join Detectives Jake Peralta and Rosa Diaz to solve a case where frogs fell from the sky.
Title: The X-Files: Brooklyn Nine-Nine Crossover
INT. PRECINCT - DAY
Detective JAKE PERALTA is sitting at his desk, eating a bag of chips. Detective ROSA DIAZ walks over.
ROSA DIAZ Peralta, you won't believe what just happened.
JAKE PERALTA What is it, Rosa?
ROSA DIAZ Frogs. Frogs just fell from the sky. Literally.
JAKE PERALTA (eyes wide) Frogs? Falling from the sky? That's insane.
As they ponder the situation, Special Agents FOX MULDER and DANA SCULLY from The X-Files enter the precinct, flashing their badges.
FOX MULDER (looking intrigued) I heard there's a case involving some unusual phenomena?
DANA SCULLY (following Mulder) Yes, we're here to investigate the reported frog rain.
JAKE PERALTA (stammering) Uh, hey, I'm Detective Jake Peralta, and this is Detective Rosa Diaz. We didn't call for any X-Files help.
FOX MULDER (sly smile) Sometimes the truth finds its way to us, Detective Peralta. I have a hunch that there's more to this than meets the eye.
DANA SCULLY (resolute) We'll assist you in finding out what's happening. Our expertise lies in investigating the unexplained.
ROSA DIAZ (deadpan) Great. More weirdos.
INT. FROG RAIN SITE - DAY
The group arrives at the location where the frog rain was reported. The ground is littered with frogs of various sizes and colors.
JAKE PERALTA (staring at the frogs) This is unreal. How did they fall from the sky?
FOX MULDER (observing) I suspect some sort of atmospheric anomaly or disturbance. But we won't know for sure until we gather more evidence.
DANA SCULLY (starting to collect samples) Let's begin by examining the frogs and their surroundings. We need to rule out any logical explanations.
JAKE PERALTA (looking at Mulder) Are you thinking extraterrestrial involvement, Mulder?
FOX MULDER (smiling) That's always a possibility, Detective Peralta. However, it could also be a result of a natural phenomenon or a man-made experiment gone wrong.
ROSA DIAZ (skeptical) Or maybe someone dumped a truckload of frogs from a plane. Seems more plausible.
As they continue their investigation, the group interviews witnesses and gathers more information.
INT. PRECINCT - NIGHT
The group assembles in the precinct, going through their findings.
JAKE PERALTA (showing a report) We've interviewed several witnesses who all claimed to see a bright light in the sky just before the frog rain. Some even mentioned hearing strange noises.
DANA SCULLY (pensive) These accounts of a bright light and unusual sounds align with typical UFO encounters. We should investigate further in that direction.
FOX MULDER (agrees) We also found some peculiar biological anomalies in the frogs themselves. It's as if they've been exposed to some unknown substance or energy.
ROSA DIAZ (getting frustrated) Can we skip to the part where we catch the culprits and wrap this up? I'm not a fan of frogs.
JAKE PERALTA (smirking) Alright, Rosa. Let's focus on tracking down any leads related to the light, noises, and any potential experiments in the area.
INT. SECRET LAB - DAY
The group uncovers a hidden laboratory in an abandoned warehouse, filled with strange equipment and scientific apparatus.
JAKE PERALTA (amazed) Whoa, look at all this crazy stuff. It's like we're in a sci-fi movie.
FOX MULDER (examining equipment) This lab seems to be experimenting with interdimensional travel. They might have inadvertently caused the frog rain by disrupting the fabric of reality.
DANA SCULLY (discovering a journal) I found a journal. It appears to contain detailed notes on these experiments. We might find answers here.
As they dig deeper into the lab, they find evidence linking the experiments to a mysterious organization with a hidden agenda.
INT. SHOWDOWN - NIGHT
In a climactic showdown, the group confronts the organization responsible for the frog rain.
JAKE PERALTA (holding his gun) NYPD! Drop your weapons and surrender!
A group of operatives surrounds them, but Mulder and Scully use their skills to outwit them, while Peralta and Diaz provide backup.
Finally, they manage to apprehend the organization's leader, who reveals their motives and the reasons behind the frog rain.
INT. PRECINCT - DAY
Mulder, Scully, Peralta, and Diaz return to the precinct, filing their reports and closing the case.
JAKE PERALTA (relieved) Well, that was something else. Thanks for your help, Mulder and Scully.
FOX MULDER (grinning) No problem, Detective Peralta. It was a pleasure working with you and Diaz.
DANA SCULLY (to Peralta) Remember, the truth is out there. And sometimes, it's stranger than fiction.
As Mulder and Scully prepare to leave, Peralta and Diaz exchange looks, pondering the mysteries that lie beyond their usual cases.
FADE OUT.
Jake’s experience:
It was just another day at the Nine-Nine, filled with the usual chaos and hilarity. But little did I know that things were about to take a wild turn. The precinct received a call about a bizarre incident: frogs falling from the sky. Frogs! I couldn't believe it. This sounded like something straight out of a sci-fi movie.
As the call came in, I was sitting at my desk, indulging in my usual shenanigans. The bullpen erupted into laughter as I performed my "Die Hard" reenactment with a stapler, but the laughter quickly subsided as Captain Holt announced the case. He assigned me and Rosa to work with a couple of federal agents named Mulder and Scully. Apparently, they were experts in dealing with the strange and unexplained.
I was beyond excited. Working with Mulder and Scully? It was like a dream come true. I mean, who wouldn't want to solve a case with the legendary paranormal investigators? But at the same time, I couldn't help but feel a little intimidated. These were the people who had faced aliens, monsters, and government conspiracies. Meanwhile, my biggest concern was finding the perfect nickname for Terry's biceps.
Mulder and Scully arrived at the precinct, and I couldn't help but be starstruck. They had an air of mystery and intrigue about them. Mulder had this intense gaze, always searching for hidden truths, while Scully was a no-nonsense, rational thinker. They were the perfect balance, and I knew we were in good hands.
We sat down in the conference room, surrounded by evidence bags filled with frogs. Mulder began discussing various theories about extraterrestrial activity and government experiments gone wrong, while Scully remained skeptical, leaning towards a more scientific explanation. It was like watching an intense debate between two brilliant minds.
As the discussion continued, I couldn't resist interjecting with my own outlandish ideas. Maybe the frogs were spies from a secret amphibian agency or victims of a teleportation experiment gone awry. Mulder seemed amused by my enthusiasm, but Scully gave me a look that said, "Please, stop."
Together, we began combing through the evidence, interviewing witnesses, and following leads. Mulder and Scully's experience and expertise brought a whole new level of insight to the investigation. They taught us to look beyond the surface, to question everything, and to never rule out the possibility of the extraordinary.
Rosa and I quickly realized that our different approaches to solving cases could actually complement each other. She brought her trademark badassery and razor-sharp instincts, while I brought my boundless energy and willingness to think outside the box. We formed an unlikely but effective partnership.
As the investigation progressed, we uncovered a secret laboratory hidden beneath a seemingly innocent pet store. It turned out that the store owner was conducting bizarre experiments, using a weather-altering device to make the frogs rain from the sky. His motivations? Well, that's a whole other story.
In the end, we apprehended the culprit and restored order to the frog population. Mulder and Scully shared their final insights, leaving us with more questions than answers. It was bittersweet saying goodbye to them, knowing that we had been a part of something truly extraordinary.
Rosa’s experience:
I leaned against my desk, rolling my eyes as I watched Detective Jake Peralta enthusiastically wave a piece of paper in the air. Mulder and Scully from the FBI? Seriously? What kind of case had landed on our doorstep this time? I took a sip of my coffee, bracing myself for whatever bizarre scenario Jake was about to throw at me.
"Rosa, you won't believe this!" Jake exclaimed, bounding over to my desk like an overexcited puppy. "Frogs! Frogs falling from the sky! This case has X-Files written all over it!"
I shot him a skeptical look. "Mulder and Scully? Really, Jake? You think they're going to solve our frog rain mystery?
Jake's eyes lit up, his voice full of childlike wonder. "Think about it, Rosa. Frogs are just dropping out of the sky. It's unexplained, it's weird, it's perfect for the X-Files team. Plus, who wouldn't want to work with the legendary Mulder and Scully?"
I grunted, not exactly convinced. But curiosity got the better of me, and I reluctantly followed Jake to the conference room. As I entered, I saw two figures standing by the whiteboard, deep in conversation. Mulder, a lanky man with an intense gaze, was scribbling something on the board while Scully, a composed redhead, observed him with a mixture of amusement and exasperation.
I took a seat at the table, crossing my arms over my chest. "Alright, Mulder, Scully. What brings you to the Nine-Nine?"
Mulder turned to face me, a mischievous smile playing on his lips. "Detective Diaz, I've heard of your reputation. A tough detective with a sharp mind. I believe our collaboration could yield interesting results. After all, the truth is out there, even in the form of falling amphibians."
I raised an eyebrow, not entirely convinced by his charm. "Fine, Mulder. But I have one condition. No nonsense, no wasting time. We do this my way, got it?"
Mulder nodded, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "Agreed, Detective Diaz. We're here to help, not hinder."
I glanced at Scully, who had been quietly observing our exchange. "And you, Scully? Any thoughts on our little froggy situation?"
Scully let out a small chuckle, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Well, Detective Diaz, I've seen my fair share of strange cases, but this one definitely takes the cake. Let's get to the bottom of it."
With that, our unlikely team was formed. Mulder, Scully, Jake, and me, united in our pursuit of the truth behind the raining frogs. We gathered our evidence, interviewed witnesses, and analyzed the meteorological data, all the while trying to keep Jake's enthusiasm in check.
As the days turned into weeks, our investigation took us down a rabbit hole of government experiments, conspiracy theories, and even ancient myths. Mulder's unorthodox theories and Scully's scientific skepticism clashed with Jake's wild imagination and my unwavering pragmatism. But somehow, amidst the chaos, a strange camaraderie began to form.
Together, we dug deep, uncovering a hidden plot involving weather manipulation and a disgruntled scientist seeking revenge. We confronted the culprits, unraveled their twisted motives, and brought them to justice. And when it was all over, we stood together, victorious.
As Mulder and Scully prepared to leave, I found myself feeling a hint of nostalgia. Despite our differences, our unconventional partnership had been strangely effective. I offered them a rare smile. "Thanks for the help, Mulder, Scully. It's been... interesting."
Mulder grinned, a glimmer of mischief in his eyes. "Likewise, Detective Diaz. Remember, if you ever need assistance with the unexplained, you know where to find us."
I nodded, realizing that even in the face of absurdity, there were connections to be made, friendships to be formed. And as the X-Files agents walked out of the precinct, I couldn't help but think that maybe, just maybe, there was more to this world than met the eye.

2023.06.08 01:09 kellster_33 The cost of doing business on Onlyfans
I’ve been seeing a lot of threads recently discussing OF and Chargebacks and wanted to offer a slightly different way of thinking about things. Chargebacks are just the cost of doing business on the biggest platform.
Now that is not to say that chargebacks aren’t invasive, and actions shouldn’t be taken to prevent them (like using your intuition or trusting your gut when interacting with subs)
But every store or retailer that sells a product builds into their business plan something called “Loss” and “Loss prevention.” Loss being, things that are stolen and Loss Prevention being protocols that are company standard to minimize total loss.
There is no industry standard when it comes to the percentage of chargebacks are normal. OF states that it should be below 1% of your total earnings for your account to not be at risk of termination but that’s about it. But are there are things that you can do to curb a high percentage such as: 1. Having a very clear bio on what you do/do not offer. 2. Pricing yourself fairly for your niche and the broader market etc
I often see “well onlyfans takes 20% and they should do more.” Well they are making improvements, they are working with major banks and sending alerts to consumers phones to confirm large transactions via text message in hopes of preventing credit card fraud. Personally I have had people try to request a charge back but it didn’t go thru (I still got paid)
Platforms like Fansly, that protect you from the majority of chargebacks are great, and you should 100% be on them as well… but if you want to take advantage of consumers subbing to your page because it’s easy and they already have an account you will have to use Onlyfans.
I recognize that chargebacks suck, especially because of the nature of our business but they are reality. My website host is WIX and they sent an email stating that their new policy is any chargebacks hosted through their platform (traditional online retail) would now also be attached with a $15 fee, so you loose your money PLUS $15. Point being chargebacks happen in all online business and you should be prepared as part of doing online work.

2023.06.08 01:09 blit_blit99 Congress won’t ever hold rigorous investigations into UAPs. Here’s a compilation of evidence that congress is part of the UFO cover-up.
Have you noticed that many members of congress have been strangely silent on the recent Grusch whistleblower revelations? Mr. Davis, who now works for Aerospace Corporation, a defense contractor, said he gave a classified briefing to a Defense Department agency as recently as March about retrievals from “off-world vehicles not made on this earth.”
Mr. Davis said he also gave classified briefings on retrievals of unexplained objects to staff members of the Senate Armed Services Committee on Oct. 21, 2019, and to staff members of the Senate Intelligence Committee two days later."
Committee staff members did not respond to requests for comment on the issue.

2023.06.08 01:08 AutisticHeathen Why do people in the US really hate tipping?
I understand in most countries tips are already factored into the cost of a meal, or, the employees are paid fairly enough that they don't need to live on tips, but in the US that's not the case. And it seems most people in the US understand that.
So why do so many people think it's absurd to tip? I understand not wanting to tip in the hopes that corporations get the memo and start paying their employees more fairly, but some people seem to really despise tipping and aren't just avoiding it for the above mentioned reason.
Every time I go through drive-thru's I tip whoever hands me my food and whoever took my card a few dollars because they're making pennies working there, and every extra dollar counts. I don't tip through card readers because iirc the tip won't actually 100% go to the person that helped you. So I understand the distaste most people hold for using a card to tip, but many people still hate tipping via cash. Why? I feel like I'm missing something.

2023.06.08 01:08 seoultired I’m a star! Because one of these days I’m going to crash and burn (not my original joke)
I’m 24 and working my “big girl” job as a case worker. I love to work, stay busy, and honestly enjoy an 8-5 job. I’ve been at this job for almost one year and absolutely love my coworkers. The work itself is making me question if I’m not…mentally strong enough, I guess? I feel like I can’t keep up with practicing self care so the stress and negative emotions don’t wear me out. It’s beginning to feel like a black hole gnawing its way out. I try to present myself at work as someone who doesn’t go home and cry for a good ten minutes but I wonder how long I can keep this mask on. Any tips on how to combat job burnout? Switching job careers isn’t really an option and I do enjoy case work overall, but I need to learn how to work out this kink if I want to be successful.

2023.06.08 01:07 SirMoar went to my first day at work, walked out with a new crush
so after being unemployed for 3 months and homeless for 2 (long story but no longer the case), i was able to to find a new job and today was my first day. during my interview i got to meet a couple of people that i saw again today but i was also introduced to the rest of the team. one of which was a pretty girl that caught my attention and our eyes locked. we didn’t talk much in the morning but good impressions were made.
later in the day when i was being trained on site, she offered to train me on what she was doing since it’s part of my job since the person i was shadowing got busy. finally some one on one time lol. long story short my jokes/casual flirting definitely saw some bright smiles and laughs and kept getting closer and closer. not gonna lie it’s the first time I genuinely try to flirt, i’m kinda a shy guy and usually don’t talk to you unless i’m spoken to first but something in me came out. i’ve done a lot of reflecting while homeless and am trying to change for the better, working on my confidence is definitely one thing.
i won’t get my hopes up and try to keep it professional because it’s our shared work space. i just met homegirl but the future seems bright.
10/10 day, enjoy the rest of yours!

All Battle pass tanks were solely made by WG by modifying existing tanks, that's why the Aeonix and Spark can't be used, but the Skoda T-25 can be used.
The Defender tanks are also the same thing, WG took 4 tanks, shoved a nuclear reactor into them and mess with their reloading systems, Def Mk1, AMX D, T28D and IS-3D can't be used because none of their real versions had nuclear reactors or that real type of autoloader.
But its also why the Sheridan Missile can be used, it a reskin of the normal Sheri, sure, but its also a real tank.
Other extremes case, like the Valkirya Chronicles tanks, Warhammer 40k tank, or the Post-Apocalipse tanks (Gravedigger, Smasher, Annihilator, Tankenstein, etc) are the same, none of them are actually real, so they can't be used in Realistic.
Any other questions?

2023.06.08 01:06 Slasher9485 Theory: The True Motivation of Tiger Niko and Why Ohma isn't as Important to the Worm as you think.
I brought this up a few times in some other posts but I wanna put this here with full details. Tiger Niko is one of the most mysterious characters in the series. But all these last chapters put things into perspective for me and I think I can conclude not only what Tiger Niko wants at the end of his journey, but also why the worm is so passively interested in Ohma and way more focused on Ryuki.
Let's go over what we know about Tiger as of now. He was a studen of Gaoh Mukaku, he betrayed all of his fellow students and master to join the worm, he continued honing the niko style under his own tutelage along with having the resources of the Worm to do with it as he sees fit, continued working on the Niko style and created formless while doing the Gu rituals, went to go fuck with Ohma when he was younger and taught him advancing spirit, continued to fuck with him and took on new students to "teach" the Niko style and formless to, use his connections with the worm to learn about Guihun from Edward in order to further evolve the Niko style, and has let his students all die for the sake of his own research. Putting all of that together, what can we conclude?
Tiger has known about Ohma being a clone for a long time. While he was doing his experiments and developing a new style for the worm (formless) he must have gained enough influence to learn about Huisheng. From there he learned that one of the connector clones was taken under the wing of his old buddy. He couldn't interact with Ohma at all, or even try to steal him away probably cause the worm for two different speculative reasons: They let Ohma be an orphan in the inside to see if he's strong enough to be a candidate for the connector or they wished to see how his potential under our OG Niko is. Cause thinking about it, by the time Ohma was in training with OG Niko, Tiger could've asked the head for some back up and killed OG Niko and take Ohma away whenever he wanted to. Sure they were still dealing with the Wu clan at the time (this is before the big betrayal after all) but I'm sure the head would send some back up if he REALLY wanted Ohma. But they didn't. Cause roughly when Ohma turned 8, Ryuki was cloned. And the worm are all hyped up about how great he'll be and what they will do to make him the perfect vessel for Shen Wu long. The worm may have lost interest in Ohma, but not Tiger. Now Tiger had reason to directly interact with Ohma. Without the worm's eyes on him, he could interact with him and mold him however he wanted. Which is why he manipulated Kiryu and taught Ohma the advance.
He's still doing everything to continue to advance the Niko style though, and that also includes improving the advance. That's why he went to Eddy to learn about Guihun because the Niko style hit a "dead end" and that dead end was the toll the advance left on you. He used his students and taught them advance, guihan and eventually Divine Devil, combing both of those techniques into one singular thing. All of his students end up injured or dead from the results of his training. But that's all that Tiger wants: Results. He doesn't care what happens to those he teaches so long as he learns from his experiments to improve the Niko Style. But why though? Why put all this effort into a martial art that he seems to have ZERO intention of passing on? Simple: He doesn't plan on passing it on. And that's the truth about the phrase "Tiger's vessel.". Tokita Ohma is now not going to be a vessel for Shen Wulong... **TOKITA OHMA IS GONNA BE A VESSEL FOR TIGER NIKO!!**
Think about it: Given everything that Tiger Niko has gone through, what the hell would be worth it at the end of the day? Becoming basically an immortal being with an invincible martial art. I'm sure Shen Wu Long is fine with it because even though Huisheng is a ritual meant for allowing him to continue living on as long as he has, other people are capable of doing it. Hell, it was being done with Hayami Masaki to turn him into Meguro. It's not like it's impossible to do it with other people outside of Shen, and I'm sure Shen is cool with it because he has an immortal body guard that will be an insane benefit to the worm. It's the only motivation that makes sense!
Now I know what you're thinking: But didn't the worm want Ohma too? After all, he was about to die if it wasn't for the worm giving him a new heart. Why would they let Tiger keep Ohma to himself if they were intent on nabbing him too? Well this latest chapter put that fear to bed for me. Because in Gaoh's words, he destroyed THE LAST cloning facility the worm had and kidnapped Ryuki. But I don't think the worm knew that Ryuki was still alive until the events of Omega. I mean Gaoh's a pretty smart guy to be able to survive this long while being marked by the worm, there's no way he would've left a single hint that Ryuki would be alive. So the worm decided "Sorry Tiger, Plan B is now Plan A." and went ahead with giving Ohma a new heart and planned on capturing him at some point. That shit went south the moment the Kure clan took possession of Ohma though. Things were looking a little bleak, but that's when Gaoh had Ryuki participate in Kengan matches to make himself known to the worm. Their Plan A came back and even though Ohma is now Plan A adjacent, the events of the purgatory tournament reconfirmed in their eyes that Ryuki is the one to be Shen Wu Long's successor. And where does that leave Ohma? Back in Tiger Niko's hands.
Maybe we'll get some dialogue dismissing all of this, but I feel confident that this is why Tiger Niko is obsessed with Ohma, the Niko style, and working with the worm. It all makes sense from his perspective and makes a lot of his actions make sense. Like when he let 5 die due to the influence of the advance: Even back then he was gathering data to improve the Niko style. He didn't use advance when 5 did because he was observing him use it, hence him just going "Oh, so that's what happens when you overuse it.". He was always obsessed about perfecting the niko style, evolving it beyond Mukaku's tutelage, and then making it his own **FOREVER** . And the worm gave him the resources to do it. Everything he's done makes sense when you think about the prize at the end of the road.
Tl;DR: The worm regard Ryuki as the perfect vessel so Tiger Niko is gonna use Ohma for his own Huisheng ritual once he evolves the Niko style to the point of perfection, making him an immortal being with his own badass style. The worm gives Tiger the resources to make this happen and keep ohma alive just in case Ryuki fails. But if Ryuki doesn't, which in their eyes he hasn't, Ohma's all Tiger's.

This includes emails, passwords, personal messages, and other confidential information. This is why the school needs to be careful when it comes to protecting its network. Hackers use various methods to hack into computers, which can be divided into four main categories: physical attack, software attack, social engineering, and denial of service (DoS) attack.
• Physical attack:
The most common way to hack a computer is to physically attack it. This usually involves breaking in through the computer, and deleting files or installing malicious programs on the computer.
• Software attack:
Hackers can also hack a computer by using a malicious piece of software, known as malware, which is able to take control of the computer’s security settings. This allows the hacker to send messages, log keystrokes, steal documents, or install malicious programs.
• Social engineering:
Social engineering is the manipulation of people to gain their confidence and trust and gain access to their system. It is the most common form of hacking used today. Hackers are usually successful when they befriend computer users and convince them to provide sensitive information or click on a link that leads them to a website that steals their credentials.
• Denial of Service attack:
A denial of service attack is when someone sends too many requests to a server, which causes it to crash. If the server is a website, it could mean that people can’t access the website anymore.
What is a school laptop?
Most schools have school laptops for their students and teachers to use. Students can use them at home as well.
The school laptop can be connected to the Internet and allows students to connect to the outside world.
The school computer system is often not secure, meaning that hackers can easily break in and access the files and information that are stored on it.
There are several methods that hackers use to break into school computers, such as hacking the login credentials of someone who works at the school or gaining access to the school’s WiFi network.

2023.06.08 01:05 Julesprobz 24F4M SoCal/Anywhere - Let's get sickening!
(If you understood that reference be sure to mention it in your message/chat to me LOL It's not a requirement just funny.)
Hi! I'm a 24 year old woman born and raised in southern California. I'm plus sized, Latina (yes I speak Spanish, but it's very improper), 5'8", brunette w brown eyes.
I've got a firey, loud side that loves to laugh and love my close ones hard. At the same time, I require lots of quiet and alone time to recharge, self reflect, work on myself, and achieve goals. I lean more on the introverted side, but when the time calls for it I'll have a good time. I have quiet, silly laughs and also unapologetically loud ones. :)
Also, I don't want kids, ever. Don't hate them, just not for me.
As for hobbies, interests, etc: I'm an artistic soul. I love to write, sing jazz/mariachi, perform theatre (though it's been a while), and at times draw. I also love to make Instagram reels lol they help satisfy my acting craving. I loooove to cook. Superbowl Sundays, Thanksgiving, special events, the kitchen may as well be a restaurant kitchen. I go ham. You name it I'll make it. It's one of my favorite ways to show my love.
I'm pro choice, LGBTQ+ friendly, 420 friendly, left-leaning. I have a short fuse for any type of hate. I smoke marijuana a couple times a week, try to lean more on edibles to not smoke as much. Also I only smoke outdoors, I try to be reserved with the smell and all. I have a zero exception rule for cigarettes though (no hate, just not for me)!
I suppose I should touch on what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a serious, long term relationship. I show my love through physical affection, words, actions, and food. Communication is #1 with me. I have to be able to have long hours of intellectual conversations with you, while also just having dumb small talk about nothing. :) Education is pretty important to me, but not everything. At least some college preferred. Also, if you have a deep voice, love dogs, and love to cuddle for hours please step to the front of the line!! Haha
Anyway, I don't want to really make this a checklist, I'm pretty open minded. Phone calls are a must when first getting to know you (not all conversations). Discord audio is a place I like to start at. :)

2023.06.08 01:05 Economy_Ad6454 June lvl 15 ft famiel x grannerv
Couple important points about this team Notes: HP threshold is 287k ( need this amount to tank Odin dra) ish if not tanking F16, and 304k ish to tank F16 This team can tank F16 enraged hits with full HP ( ~5k hp left after all dmg reduction ) so you can do the math here -> this gives more time to stall Chakeol is very important here. Only 1 turn cd water sub I could find - can be replaced with amenominakanushi. But not recommended. Because ameno doesn’t generate heart orb and can board lock you Maybe when Aten buff comes to NA,blue aten is a better option Fl 16: most difficult floor I think. this floor can be killed with 2 Karin dra actives - no need to reach 304k hp threshold if this is your plan. But it’s quite difficult, basically need to time everything correctly, have Cecilia up, grannerV up, and Karin dra up ( 2nd one need to be ready within 2 turns I believe), and use Cecilia + Karin dra + grannerV to guarantee max damage to kill in two turns Stall for Cecilia when she is not up ( very important). Do not use her to clear rcv debuff. Only use her to clear time debuff before you reach the dragons. Use her to clear dmg debuff from floor 17 and onward Make sure famial does not over charge and make sure she is ready for floor f18 or 19 ( Odin dragon floor, I think it’s 18. Cuz 19 is Yomi dra ) She is useful on myne floor in case she awoken binds. And she can clear unmatchable using tpa for floor 3 spawns Do not use her to clear awoken bind on floor 14? That black cat woman, just stall for a turn. She won’t bite As a rule of thumb. Whenever you are stalling for Cecilia. It is usually time to pop famiel and recharge her as well - she can board lock you. Just FYI Chakeol : do not use her until floor 3, then loop her assist. Except on floor 17 or 15? There is a floor that clear your all your buffs. It’s dark/green I think, she voids rcv for 3 turns and will clear all buff once she is below 50% . She doesn’t hit hard. Can survive as long as leader shields are up. Start looping assist once she is below 50% Just keep in mind. Myne death will chew away 1 turn Shield Guide to floor 1 - 3: Floor 1: pop Cecilia assist + Karin dra + Karin dra -> stall 3 turns then pop famiel assist-> stall until 1 turn left then combo and kill Need 10 c and a bunch of green and blue tpas to kill. She has like no HP at all Floor 2: pop grannerV. Stall until both Karin dra up. And kill Usually takes 2 turns to kill. No rush here. Plenty of time Floor 3: pop chakeol assist - start looping her Then start puzzling submitted by Economy_Ad6454 to PuzzleAndDragons [link] [comments]
2023.06.08 01:04 TA16199 Apple Watch Series 8 (Starlight case, Starlight band) giving me a rash?
I just got my Fitbit this past Sunday, so I’ve had it for 4 days. I’ve worked out for the last 3 days and didn’t notice anything. Today I took it off to charge my watch and noticed I had a rash. It’s not itchy or painful, it’s just red and there. I assume it’s from sweating under my band. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it something to worry about? I have no known allergies to silicone/rubbeplastic. submitted by TA16199 to AppleWatch [link] [comments]
