2023.05.24 00:26 Small_Bet_9433 ACC Atlantic Programs That Have Played Teams They Have Never Beaten (as of the 2022 season)
We've seen the SEC, now its time to look at the current state of the ACC starting with the Atlantic division! Although they are doing away with divisions this upcoming season, I am still going to go with them for the sake of simplicity. Commentors on the previous post have pointed out a better way for me to find the dates for the really old games. My plan is to add the dates for this post and then I'll go back and add the rest of the dates for the previous two posts. As always, the year in parenthesis is the date of the most recent matchup between teams and if I missed any dates or matchups, please let me know!

*A commentor on the SEC East post was correct in guessing that FSU would have the best odds of having the lowest total. They have beaten every P5 team they have played except for two!
* Minnesota has so far been the silent executioner of teams from the south.
*FSU has beaten Alabama however, the NCAA made them vacate their 2007 victory. So for now, FSU has no (recognized) wins.

Blurberry is a 2022 MYP running Michelin Pilot Sport AS4 235/55ZR18XL wrapped around 18" Martian MW03 forged wheels. First leg of the trip is 189 miles at 263whmi starting from the residential street of my inlaws house to the 150kw SC station in the Target parking lot at the I40 Charlotte exit in Nashville TN. I had FSD enabled and speed offset at +10%. We probably averaged closer to 70 on the freeway considering traffic and construction and one short slowdown right north of Nashville. Climate was on full auto at 73. Second leg was 196 miles at 272whmi starting at the same Target, stopping briefly at the bigass solar farm about 30mi east of Memphis on I40 for a quick kiddo potty break, then wrapping up at our driveway in north Collierville. Same FSD settings as above, however this time we encountered very few slow downs, so our interstate average was really close to the full 77mph setting. We changed the climate to 74 because the kids were complaining of being cold. The 18s let you run a less expensive tire, provide extra sidewall for a comfortable, quiet ride and also wheel protection from curbs, they enable your MYP to accelerate almost 10% faster in 0 to 60 tests, and as you can see above they kick ass for actual driving efficiency. 18's are the real performance option for the MYP. It's a shame Tesla offers only the enormous, heavy and woefully inefficient 21" wheels from the factory. submitted by miataowner to TeslaModelY [link] [comments] |
2023.05.22 00:23 Small_Bet_9433 SEC East Programs That Have Played Teams They Have Never Beaten (as of the 2022 season)
Building off of my post yesterday about Georgia, I decided to take a look at what teams P5 programs have yet to beat. These posts will be broken down by division where applicable and today will be the SEC East. I included Georgia's again to make things easier for anyone that hasn't seen the first post. The year in parenthesis is the last year the teams played each other, and I tried to find as many dates as I could. If I missed any, please let me know!

trailer. Dir. Jim Jarmusch - 1989 - 110m - NO MATINEES. Aloof teenage Japanese tourists, a frazzled Italian widow, and a disgruntled British immigrant all converge in the city of dreams—which, in Mystery Train, from Jim Jarmusch, is Memphis. Made with its director’s customary precision and wit, this triptych of stories pays playful tribute to the home of Stax Records, Sun Studio, Graceland, Carl Perkins, and, of course, the King, who presides over the film like a spirit. Mystery Train is one of Jarmusch’s very best movies, a boozy and beautiful pilgrimage to an iconic American ghost town and a paean to the music it gave the world

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Jerry Lee Lewis Monument Benefit Concert & Silent Auction To Be Held on June 24 at Jerry Lee Lewis’ Cafe & Honky Tonk Memphis, TN — Mrs. Jerry Lee (Judith) Lewis is pleased to announce the Jerry Lee Lewis Monument Benefit Concert and Silent Auction, which will be held at Jerry Lee Lewis’ Cafe & Honky Tonk in Memphis, Tennessee on June 24, 2023, from 6pm to 11pm. The event is being held to fulfill her late husband’s wish for a monument on his grave.
The concert will feature Jerry Lee’s touring band, the Memphis Beats, which includes bandleader and guitarist Kenny Lovelace, bassist Ray Gann, and drummer Kenny Aronoff. In addition, attendees can expect to see performances by Jacob Tolliver, Jared Freiburg, a surprise special guest, and other renowned pianists. It will be a night filled with great music and entertainment, all for a historical cause.
In addition to the concert, there will be a silent auction of rare and unique memorabilia from Lewis’ personal collection with all proceeds going towards the Jerry Lee Lewis Monument Fund. The fund is dedicated to creating a lasting tribute to the rock and roll icon, who has inspired generations of musicians and music lovers around the world. Premier auction items include Lewis’ favorite vehicle – his “Big Red” Ford F-150, his iconic show jackets, his original 1957 contract with Sun Records, his Baldwin baby grand piano, his record collection, his mink coat and scarf, and more! Tickets will be required for entry into the auction house.
The monument, hand-selected by Lewis himself from the Natchez Monument Company, will have a grand piano etched onto it and feature a button-enabled recording of him singing his virtuosic “(Don’t Put) No Headstone on My Grave.” Judith, widely regarded by the fans as “Mrs. Killer” said, “Our ‘Killer’ gave his all to his fans. Now we need to give our all and get him the monument he wanted!”
“We are thrilled to host this special event to honor Jerry Lee Lewis and his incredible legacy, and hope that the concert and silent auction will bring fans together to raise funds for the creation of a monument that will pay tribute to one of the greatest musicians of all time,” said Aidan Hart, director of the event.
Mrs. Jerry Lee Lewis invites all fans and supporters of Jerry Lee’s legacy to join her in honoring his memory and fulfilling his final wish. Tickets for the event will be available for purchase online at
www.jerryleelewismemphis.com/benefit beginning May 15th for 24-hour presale pricing (starting at $125 for galley seating) and at the door on the night of the event.

2023.04.26 14:53 AnnaMargaretha Aer Lingus denied my EC261/2004 claim "due to weather". Escalated my claim to the Commission for Aviation Regulation. Do I have a case or should I leave it at that?
Had flights from Newcastle, UK to Memphis, TN connecting via Dublin and Chicago O'hare on the 17th of December 2022. Flight numbers: EI3351, EI125, UA1612
We booked through American Airlines, the first two flights were operated by Aer Lingus, the last flight was United. We were unable to check in online because we didn't book through Aer Lingus directly, so we checked in at NCL airport. We specifically asked to be checked n for all connecting flights, which was denied for UA1612, because "we would have sufficient time to check in at ORD" (under 3 hours). I got the impression it was too much of a hassle, she completed the check in for the Aer Lingus flights, and was reluctant to start a new procedure for the last flight, but I'm not sure.
Our flight from DUB to ORD (EI125) was delayed on departure because Aer Lingus decided to wait for guests from a connecting flight. This was announced by the cabin crew whilst we were boarded, waiting for take-off. As illustrated in the attached screenshot, we left DUB with a delay of 54 minutes, and touchdown in ORD was at 18:30 local time, 30 minutes past the expected arrival time of 18:00. At this point, there was no gate available, so we had to wait another 45 minutes on board the plane before getting a gate assigned and being able to exit the plane at approximately 19:15.
This delay made us miss our connecting flight (UA1612 departing at 19:52) because we couldn’t get from terminal 5 to terminal 1 in time to check in (at least 30 minutes before departure). we had to reschedule our last flight to the next day at 19:52, which made us arrive at our destination 24 hours late.
I contacted Aer Lingus to claim compensation under EC261/2004 on the 30th of December. On the 17th of April I finally received a reply, asking me for the boarding passes of the replacement flight from ORD to MEM, which I supplied.
On the 19th of April, I received a new response, stating: "Upon checking, EI125 was delayed due to weather. As such, this cancellation was due to “extraordinary circumstances” within the meaning of Regulation EC 261/2004, and consequently, no compensation is due in respect of this cancellation"
I wrote another letter to protest that decision, stating we were told different reasons and they should prove extraordinary circumstances due to adverse weather, the link between the extraordinary circumstances and the delay, and the delay being unavoidable even if all reasonable measures had been taken, to which they replied on the 24th of April: "While I cannot provide further details, I would like to direct you to contact the designated enforcement body for Regulation EC 261/2004."
I filed a complaint with the designated enforcement body, the Commission for Aviation Regulation, and I'm currently waiting for their response. I'm not sure what to expect and what my further options would be. Does anyone think I have a case?
Edit: I'm an EU national living in England. Since the delayed flight took of from Dublin, so EU, and Aer Lingus is an EU airline, I decided on EC261 and not UK261 (not completely sure if that was right).

2023.04.16 03:20 H_TheLetter My 2005 E55 with 564rwhp/666rwtq
| I bought the car in early 2012 when it was located in AZ. The prev owner had done a 180 pulley, tune, Renntech carbon air box, Carlsson carbon front lip, Carlsson carbon spoiler, carbon interior trim and carbon shift knob. He loved carbon as much as me!! I got it put the wheels on in the pic and it ran 11.7 at 121mph on street 19s. But the tranny went to hell the on-time I took it to the track. So new TC and freshened up. Later on in 2012 I added a Killer Chiller. I was the guy to who really got people turned on to them. Mine is mounted behind the Distronic puck in the front and looks rather stick. Spoke with Joe Kincaid about a kit and then after all my documentation to folks many bought kits and he paid me some cash back for the increase in sales. Well then the 180 pulley falls apart and dies due to 5 years of AZ and now Alabama heat. Car then goes to Buckhead Imports in ATL to be fixed as they had just started to pin pulleys to the crank and I wanted lifetime security. Well that starts a rabbit hole. While at Buckhead these parts are added 195 crank Looped fuel rail 550cc injectors 82mn TB MBH LTH 1 of 5 belt wrap kits with red pulleys All then tuned by Tony and made like 480hp and 550tq I think. I don’t have that sheet. I then left it alone and the following year in 2013 see I need more cooling for up top. So had Buckhead add dual nozzle meth kit. It’s installed using the washer fluid tank to keep it “hidden” and set to spray at 8psi. This gets me to 521hp and 668tq in the Mustang Dyno. Things are good and runs fine. Also have a trunk tank added under the floor by Buckhead so now my cooling is KC filling the tank for street and quick recovery and course the meth for the top end cooling. The HE is fully bypassed and not used. By early 2015 the car needed a rear main seal done. Off to Buckhead again as it was time to really do more work while at it. We added: High stall TC 3.06 gears LSD Update TCU tune for all that. I get the car back in June 2015. Then sadly in July 2015 it was hit in a low speed 15mph accident. Insurance totaled it out and I lost my ass. I wasn’t at fault but they claimed my insurance didn’t cover it. Likely bc we both had the same insurer so they weren’t looking to pay out $30k extra in documented receipts and work. I battled them for 6mths to get more money back and force them to pay storage fees. I had to prove to them white was the most desired color for these cars and that mine being white/pano with merlot interior is like a holy grail unicorn. https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/594540-unicorn-down-accident-i-got-hit.html The car sold at auction and traded hands 5x from 2015-2020. Each time the person tracked me down from the post about the car accident on MBWorld. All claiming they were going to fix the bs job the previous person did. In 2017 the owner at that time asked if I wanted to buy it back and told him what I would pay, knowing it still wouldn’t be at my level of care and prob have to spend. 7-10k to do so. He wanted $15k for the car and I was like pass. Then has the nerve to tell me “we both know the parts on it are worth a ton” well yeah duh bc I PAID FOR NEARLY ALL OF THEM!! Anyway on June 2020 the person he eventually sold it to again like the others found my post. He posted a few pics of the car and said he thought he now owned it. I spotted the 1 of 5 red BWK in a corner of a pic and knew he had to have it bc there is no way another matching car would have it. I posted the VIN and he confirmed. He was looking to gather more info on the car. Turns out he has had it since 2017 and as my luck and finances allowed he was looking to sell and was tying to find out more about the car. We agreed on a price and while waiting on a few things and my calendar to clear up to go from AL to pick it up in Delaware, he said he needed to sort of few things out on the car mainly a CEL. Come to find out it’s a misfire code. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ he does some maintenance and finds the motor is blown!!!! Not to mention the car was kept outside under a tree. I contact the owner of Buckhead Imports in ATL since they did all the major work previously for. Got the cost on engine and all. Oddly enough the current owner had contacted them in 2017 bc of a sticker on the trunk tank. We agree on a much lower price matching the orig price minus the new engine cost. A great buddy of mine love the car as much as i do. He lives now in Memphis and dropped his life to drive to Birmingham to get me and a massive trailer. He drove the whole same way up and back to get the car end of July on a 2k mile long round trip journey. Car is in a ok shape but needs some help. When I picked up the car from him I realized how the motor blew. Someone had wired the meth pump to the fog light. This was blowing fuses and fool drove it not realizing the car is tuned for meth and needs meth to keep it safe. Drop it off to Buckhead who will swap all the stuff over and fix a few other things for me. They tear it down replacing lots of other items along the way. Even find a squirrel was hiding nuts under the side skirts. It’s there from July 2020-June 2021 and racks up a bill of $19k. Tony with RaceIQ, the best tuner hands down refreshed the tune to make sure all dialed back in. Now making 564rwhp/666rwtq. It comes home to me but I’m tapped out on cash so the car chills in my garage only driven occasionally a few miles each month. I spent the time doing minor things like redoing all the carbon trim. All new OE headlights then tore them down to upgrade the projector to Morimoto EVOs with Osram CBB bulbs. This setup matches the LED headlights on our Gwagon. In the pic the Gwagon LED are on the left and new upgraded E lights on the right. Replaced the front grill as it was super glued back together. 🤦🏻♂️ Installed facelift taillights and make sure all headlight and tails can use LED without error messages on dash. Other random crap and more still needed like replacing the headunit to Android with Csrplay unit and reinstall the amp/sub. Finally May 2022 take it to the premier repair shop here close to me owned by friends. They are certified for McLaren/Rolls/Ferrari etc. They have a GLASS paint booth in their old shop!! Now they are in an old Sams Club warehouse. There they are doing the following: Repaint front bumper Replace driver fender Paint fenders and blend to the doors better All the exterior carbon pieces had to be replaced Replace Carbon front lip Replace the carbon spoiler Reclear the carbon difusser Make new carbon bumper vents Reclear the carbon airbox/carbon tubes Remove and replace window tint Car should be back home officially now after a year at body shop as they stay busy and only one guy is allowed to work on the car. I wish it was faster but when I don’t need it and it’s already been since 2015 no rush. Sorry for the long story but it’s cool to me since so many of us lose cars we would have back no matter what if we could. submitted by H_TheLetter to AMG [link] [comments] |

2023.04.11 17:56 jimmyhoffasbrother 2023 All-Name Mock Draft
Hi everyone! These posts have been a lot of goofy fun the past two years and have inspired the most fun comment sections I've seen on
NFL_Draft, so I'm back again with a mock draft of some of the best names in the 2023 draft.
If you missed them the last two years, here are past posts:
2022 All-Name Mock, Round 1 2021 All-Name Mock, Round 1 2021 All-Name Mock, Round 2 A reminder of how all of this works! Picture this: we've fallen into a world where the talent level of every 2023 draft prospect is exactly determined by how interesting/weird/absurd/funny his name is. Bryce Young is now a mediocre late-round prospect at best, who probably won't even be drafted over specialists like Texas punter Daniel Trejo or UCLA long snapper Jack Landherr. How would a draft in such a world play out?
I'm not just going to simply list out the best names in the draft in order, but rather I'll still put some thought into team needs when making my decisions.
- Carolina Panthers - QB Dresser Winn, University of Tennesee-Martin - The Panthers gave up a haul for the top pick this year, making it quite clear that they’re going up for a future franchise QB. Unfortunately, the all-name QB class this year is relatively weak, with only a couple of first round prospects. The Panthers nab the top guy here. Named after a piece of furniture with a last name that gives him an automatic +10 to his win(n) probability, Winn has been the odds-on favorite at this pick for months.
- Houston Texans - EDGE Wardalis “Duck” Ducksworth, Memphis - The first surprise of the draft comes early, as the Texans don’t draft a QB, instead opting for the best-name-available in edge rusher Wardalis Ducksworth. I don’t know what to say that his name doesn’t say for itself. A first name that I’m pretty sure nobody else in the world has, a last name that sounds like it comes from English royalty, and a pithy animal nickname. Ducksworth should be a menace to QBs for the next decade at least.
- Arizona Cardinals - DT Blessman Ta’ala, Hawai’i - Ta’ala has arrived to shower the Arizona defense with his blessings. Praise be to the bless man.
- Indianapolis Colts - QB Braxton Burmeister, San Diego State - This is probably a bit of reach, but the Colts QB situation is dire, and they think they have the roster to compete if they can find the right QB. Burmeister provides alliteration and a silly-sounding last name. His name could be the comic relief in a Marvel comic, and that’s good enough to take a shot on here.
- Seattle Seahawks - OG Poutasi Poutasi, Northern Arizona University - Seahawks need help on the interior OL, and this guy has the name so nice they named it twice.
- Detroit Lions - DT Maximillian “Maxi” Hradecny, Duquesne University - 10 dollars to the first American to correctly pronounce “Hradecny”. Between that word scramble and the regal “Maximillian” which he has hilariously shortened to the name of a feminine hygiene product, this is a 10/10 nose tackle prospect.
- Las Vegas Raiders - K Briggs Bourgeois, Southern Miss - Maybe I’ve overplayed the joke at this point by using it in every one of these drafts, but “Raiders get a specialist with their first round pick” is an objectively hilarious meme, and I will listen to no comments to the contrary. Briggs Bourgeois has come to kick the dreams of the proletariat.
- Atlanta Falcons - CB Devious Christmon, Bethel University TN - This year’s version of Divine Deablo, I’m pretty sure that Devious Christmon is the antichrist hiding in plain sight. But he should be a hell of a CB until the day that he kickstarts the end of days.
- Chicago Bears - OT Ye’Majesty Sanders, Jacksonville State - Ye’Majesty’s 26.5 inch arms aren’t going to stop him from claiming dominion over the league which is his by birthright. Bow down to your majesty Ye’Majesty Sanders.
- Philadelphia Eagles - EDGE Shaheem Haltiwanger, Towson - This year’s winner of the “most Key & Peele name of the draft” award makes his way to Philadelphia.
- Tennesee Titans - WR Yo’Heinz Tyler, Ball State - The first receiver comes off the board, and he’s a good one. Every time you say his first name, you greet a ketchup bottle, and that’s just fantastic.
- Houston Texans - WR Mac Hippenhammer, Miami University (Ohio) - Having spurned the top QB prospects, Houston needs to surround their current QB room with more receiving talent. Hippenhammer’s name sounds like MC Hammer’s white alter ego.
- New York Jets - OT Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu, Oregon - I could totally be pronouncing his name wrong, but if I’m not, then “Sala” has 13 syllables in his name, and syllables count for a lot in this world.
- New England Patriots - CB Kyu Blu Kelly, Stanford - Kelly has two first names and no middle name, which is pretty cool. Also pretty confident that he is the only person in the world named “Kyu Blu”.
- Green Bay Packers - TE Maverick Wolfley, West Florida - The all-name tight end class is not very deep, but the Packers snag the clear top prospect. With a name like “Maverick,” he may need some disciplined coaching to keep him in line, but if that’s done right, Wolfley could be a perennial pro-bowler at the position.
- Washington Commanders - OT Jacky Chen, Pace University - Yes, his name is technically not Jackie Chan, but it’s going to sound like that every time the announcer says his name. And who wouldn’t want the Drunken Master protecting their QB’s blind side?
- Pittsburgh Steelers - CB Kortney Cox, Florida A&M - The Steelers snag the star of the hit 90s-00s sitcom Friends. I figured she’d be too old to play football at this point, but she had a relatively productive career with the Rattlers, so I’m certainly not in a position to age-shame.
- Detroit Lions - LB Seyddrick Lakalaka, San Diego State - The Lions continue to build their defense with a LB who was named by his mother while she was speaking tongues (probably).
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers - S Chris Bacon, Bowling Green - I searched far and wide to find this guy’s middle name, but I couldn’t. However, I’m going to mock him here just in case his middle name starts with a P. There’s like, a 1/26 chance, right? And if it doesn’t, I’m sure the Bucs could convince him to legally change it.
- Seattle Seahawks - EDGE Habbakuk Baldonado, Pitt - A biblical prophet. This man knows what the offense is going to do before they do.
- Miami Dolphins - C Chandler Dolphin, Utah State - I am officially reinstating this previously forfeited pick because I absolutely had to mock the guy named Dolphin to the Dolphins. Sure, they have a center, but Connor Williams can always shift out to guard. Nobody should deny Dolphin to the Dolphins.
- Los Angeles Chargers - WR Chancellor Brewington, Nebraska - Chancellor Brewington sounds like the cartoonish rich kid bully who just moved to the TV small town from his mansion in Newport.
- Baltimore Ravens - CB De’Jahn “Nugget” Warren, Jackson State - I tend to avoid names that are only great because of their nicknames, but when you combine this guy’s first name with his nickname, it sounds like “dijon nugget”, which is delicious.
- MInnesota Vikings - LB Reidgee Dimanche, Stony Brook - I realize LB isn’t a top need for Minnesota, but there are too many good LB names, I was running out of slots, and it was at least listed as a secondary need. This is an incredible spelling of “Reggie,” and Dimanche is a fun last name to say as well.
- Jacksonville Jaguars - DT Muhindo Kapapa, University of San Diego - Try to say this name only once. You can’t. You say it once, and you want to say it again. And again. And again. Muhindo Kapapa.
- New York Giants - OG Will Lay III, Georgia Tech - Not only does he expect to lay, but he will lay, and he will do it thrice.
- Dallas Cowboys - RB Percy Agyei-Obese, James Madison - I know we all debate the value of RBs in the first round, but this man’s last name is obese. Obese. Ignore the fact that it is likely pronounced oh-beh-say. His name is obese.
- Buffalo Bills - LB Exree Loe, West Virginia - What the hell kind of name is Exree? The crazy thing is, I discovered that he’s not even the first college athlete named Exree from a college with “Virginia” in its name. What are the odds of that?
- Cincinnati Bengals - RB Israel Abanikanda, Pitt - A man with abs made out of anacondas with the power of a whole damn country should have no problem holding down the Cincy backfield with Joe Mixon quite possibly on his way out.
- New Orleans Saints - DT Zion Farmer, Tiffin - The Saints need to beef up their interior DL, and who better to do it than a farmer from the Promised Land.
- Philadelphia Eagles - LB Bumper Pool, Arkansas - Like I mentioned above, I don’t like using nicknames, but here’s the thing. Bumper Pool legally changed his name to Bumper at age 16. No joke. Bumper Pool is his real government name.
- Kansas City Chiefs - EDGE YaYa Diaby, Louisville - YaYa can mean either nanny or grandmother depending on who you’re talking to. Either one should provide good leadership for the front seven.
Best remaining players: - OG Axel Ruschmeyer, Minnesota
- RB Xazavian Valladay, Arizona State
- LB DeMarvion Overshown, Texas
- LB Fa’Avae Fa’Avae, Idaho
- LB Merlin Robertson, Arizona State
- S Miles Oldacre, Yale
- EDGE Greg China-Rose, Maryland
- RB Cartavious “Tank” Bigsby, Auburn
- LB Dru Prox, UTSA
- RB Bernard Goodwater III, Prairie View A&M
