2023.05.28 13:57 Colt_Leasure The family next door disappeared. The answer to their vanishing is in the woods.
1
I live in a suburb surrounded by forest. My house is in a row of other properties built next to a tree line. The neighborhood was always quiet. The sounds of crickets, birds, and sight of black bears were routine on most summer days.
The scenic area was something I was always grateful for. I lived completely alone since the death of my parents. An accidental fire took both of their lives. Once I collected my inheritance, I relocated to a much more peaceful region. I had always fantasized about moving there.
I tried to start a relationship with Samantha. I had gone to High School with her sixteen years before. She had gone on to become a respected Detective. My attempt at something long lasting with her failed. She was too career oriented. I was reeling from grief. Focusing on building something meaningful with her was a pipe dream.
Things around my community changed once the Murphy family went missing.
The first sign that something was off on that Wednesday was how their blinds had closed. Their silver Chevy Chrysler remained parked in the driveway.
A tennis instructor at the country club noticed the wife of that house did not show up for the program. He called their number to make sure everything was alright. When no one responded, he notified the authorities. Rumors abounded immediately among the home owners association about an alleged affair. The gossip only furthered when the married couple and their three kids were not found in the abode.
I watched from my balcony as the patrolmen roped the place off with caution tape. The domicile was a three story building with brick chimney’s and a few peaked roofs in the style of English towers. They were beige, light blue and crimson.
On the morning of the Murphy’s desertion of society, the architecture became a hollow image. It was one that was once filled with activity and life.
The law did what they could. Any success they may have had in the investigation was secret. A few months passed by and they removed the caution tape.
I followed the on-line police logs. The weather was pristine and clear the day they vanished. The fact that there were no witnesses to what direction they may have gone disturbed me.
I had heard how the man, Frank Murphy, had a bit of a temper and always had a bourbon in hand. I had heard mutual friends describe him as an alcoholic in denial of his servitude to liquor. He was an indignant individual who knew no true repercussions for his behavior. He always had bail money from a software company he founded and sold a long time ago.
I was never close to that family, but I peered out at their vacant house far more than I ever had. I was in need of an answer. What could have happened?
2
I called Samantha one evening as I sat on my bed, wondering how she would respond to my reaching out. We were never argumentative or on bad terms. I still worried about her reaction, and hoped it would not be a dismissive one.
I heard her say hello. Her voice still impressed me. I had almost forgotten how silky her tone was. I knew it could change to a much firmer pitch when she was interviewing a suspect.
“Hi, Sam. I’d like to know if you’d be free tomorrow for a cup of coffee. We can go to that place, The Bean Field, off Pond road. It’s been a while and I know you have a lot to tell me about what’s new in your life.”
There was a pause on the other end, and for a second a bout of anxiety hit me. I judged my own words as robotic, stilted, and sure to push her away. I reasoned she was summoning an excuse to get out of having to interact with me. How dare I presume she would even entertain the notion of having a meeting.
“That sounds great,” she said. “Tomorrow is my day off, luckily for you. I’m in the middle of an incident right now. It’s a five car pile-up about forty minutes from where you live. I’ve gotta run. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
When she hung up, I was triumphant. I looked at our old text conversations. I realized we had not been in communication with each other for over twelve months. Now was my opportunity to reconcile that gap of unintended avoidance. I knew it would be an undeserved opportunity.
3
I sat outside of the cafe the next morning at a black metal table. I had a view of rolling hills dotted with trees. A highway with multitudinous shrubberies sat on either side of it. I sipped a piccolo latte while waiting for her.
When she arrived and stepped out of her hatchback in the parking lot, her appearance floored me. She had not dressed up for our supposed date, but that did not make a difference. She had arrived from the gym and wore shorts and a top set. She donned a gray and green hoodie.
She sat across from me and reached for the menu.
“Can you go to the front and order me avocado toast?” Samantha asked. “I’ll also take a mocha with a few shots of espresso. Please.”
I did exactly that. When I returned with her items, she apologized for consuming her meal in less than two minutes.
“I hadn’t eaten since five PM yesterday,” she said between sips.
“I understand,” I said. “I doubt you ever have a consistent schedule anymore.”
“You’re right, but that’s why I have to enjoy my free time when I can.”
We settled into talking about what had happened since we last saw each other. I referenced my trying to learn another language (French) with the hopes of moving to Europe or Canada.
After fifteen minutes of small talk, I asked her about work, but I did so with caution. It started with me wondering about what the call she was on when we were on the phone was about.
“A drunk driver blew a stop sign and hit two other vehicles,” she said. “It was ugly. A few people died. We’ll see if the man in silk pajamas gives him the proper sentence or a traffic citation.”
“You know, I’m curious about what happened to the Murphy’s, if they’re hurt or not.”
“You and everyone else,” she said. “We’ve been getting so many witness accounts, and so far they’ve all been bogus. All I know is what I saw when I got there.”
“I didn’t know you were one of the responders,” I said.
“Yeah. Something about the place was off from the moment I walked in. I found heavy items in placed they should not have been in. The toolbox was not in the garage but on the second story. A disassembled snowblower lay scattered everywhere in pieces. The oven door was on their bed. Frank Murphy was not the strongest guy in the world, either. For him to cause the kind of property damage I saw doesn’t make a lot of sense. At the risk of sounding crazy, inexplicable things happened when I was there.”
“Like what?”
“I was under the impression that something was playing a trick on me. Electrical outlets sparked a few times out of nowhere. The ceiling fan would go from still to spinning when I looked up at it. Books would fall off of the shelves. A volume on black magic, of all things, almost hit the top of my head when I walked on by. Another book about fairies collapsed with it.”
“So the home intruder set up a bunch of weird diversions,” I said. “I’ve heard of that before. These killers or kidnappers want the victims to think there was more than one of them. It’s so their account’s disputed in court.”
I’ll tell you right now,” she said, “we didn’t find any outside DNA.”
“So it’s a case of family annihilation,” I said as I took a long swig of my beverage. “I don’t know if you can substantiate the facts, but a few people have said that Emily had a big life insurance policy. Frank knew about. He may have been using steroids and having an affair, and that could have contributed to-“
It occurred to me that she eyed me with suspicion, as though I was digging too deep. I could also tell she regretted letting information about the forensic results slip.
She stood up and stared at me with a flash of anger in her eyes.
“I thought you wanted to piece something back together with me,” she said. “I didn’t know you wanted to play armchair investigator like every true crime fan. You know, your parents were kind. I wish you’d follow their example. I’ll let you get the bill.”
She walked back to her vehicle and I knew it would be a while before we conversed again.
Later that night, I stared out my window at the Murphy home. I saw a star shoot across the sky, and it almost seemed ready to plummet into the side of their house.
4
The next evening, I took a walk around the suburb. I spotted a thin line of dried red fluid along a path which led into the woods.
I was attempting to get in some movement to get my mind off of the events of the day before. Negativity and self-deprecation were all-consuming. I felt the need for a long saunter to try and release some of the meandering and pessimistic energy I accrued.
When I saw the carmine ribbon along the dark soil, a sense of worry filled me. I was not that far removed from a cul-de-sac with palatial manors a block away. There was no way I could speculate on me being the first to see it.
Could it be a hint where they are? I thought.
The notion seemed absurd, a reach.
I had read in the local newspaper that there was an uptick in bobcat sightings due to recent wildfires. The animals relocated during prior summers. I reasoned it could have been a house pet which became a victim after it got snatched away into the overgrowth.
I followed it, and the uneven road of red stretched on past many bushes and over logs. A shrill chirping in the background became louder. I moved between two conifers with petrified wood and found myself in a part of the forest I had never been in.
There were so many branches that it blacked out the falling sun. Ahead of me was a clearing. A swarm of gnats and mosquitos descended upon it. The sea of insects soared together in chaotic unison as a wave among the sedges and lichen.
I looked towards the right of the meadow and saw a ramshackle tree house. I trailed the red line towards it. I peered in through one of the windows and saw a statue of a woman with wings. I knew she was not an angel. There was no halo, nor were her organs of flight feathery, but rather they were thin and bat-like.
I entered the place knowing the danger I was putting myself in. I had tracked mud in and was oblivious to the incriminating actions I partook in. I was trespassing and risking stumbling into whoever may have owned the land. My curiosity got the better of me and caused me to keep moving forward.
The room was sparse but decorated. The walls had carvings of men and women, also with wings. Their bodies held yogic-like positions as they reached out to one another mid-air.
A piece of parchment with a few words sat in the corner. I picked it up and read it:
‘Humans are the greatest living beings to play tricks on. Especially when they go through a time of drought and extreme cold.’
I sat it down where I found it, unsure of what to make of it.
I touched the central figure’s neck. The chiseling was not only cold, but below freezing, as though I had submerged my hand in a polar pool.
The noise of some kind of bird attempting to escape a confined space reverberated below me.
Something brushed against my leg. I looked down and saw an army of glow bugs float up between the cracks, and they circled around me. They were like dragon flies. At the time I had labeled them as such, but in reality their shapes were far too humanoid.
I walked back home. I went to bed and slept. I was still perturbed at the wine-colored avenue and cabin.
I awoke in the middle of the night after something tapped at my walls from the outside. I peered out and saw the Murphy home, and observed how the blinds over their casements were wide open. A hive of mites filled every inch of the interior.
5
I found the decomposing body of a chipmunk stuffed into the tailpipe of my vehicle the next day.
This horrified me, because the deliberation of the act was too evident to ignore. While I did have a surveillance camera on my porch, the coverage of my vehicle was non-existent. I calmed myself down by thinking it was likely a tempestuous child. I retrieved a pair of medical gloves and disposed of the creature before going on with the errand. The rotting body had a horrible smell. It was like an onion left out in humidity for days, and my stomach turned as I sealed it off in the garbage with the lid.
The next morning, I looked in my closet. Some of my favorite shirts had disintegrated. Holes and patches of destroyed fabric littered them. I found it odd, and even searched on-line for possible answers before I decided it had to be a moth infestation. I sprayed lavender. Information on a website statEd that was a cure-all, but the problem persisted. It bothered me that I had not seen a single aphid, but I pushed that concern away.
A few days afterward, when I had tossed my disheveled pieces of attire, the power in my house went out. This was not such an unusual occurrence during the heavy winter months. For it to occur in the summer was strange.
It was a rolling blackout. Once my house had electricity again, I noticed how someone moved items around.
Something turned my kitchen table on its side and stuffed into a part of the kitchen I would have never placed it in.
I grabbed a butcher knife and did a sweep of the premises, and I did not find anything. There were no footprints or signs of anything else tampered with. When I got to the second story, birds nested along the tree tops, and the repugnant odor of fish attacked me.
My allergies became insufferable over the next month. Nothing purchased over the counter which helped it.
6
I went to the beach on an overcast day. After roughly half a mile of walking, I saw an illustration someone had drawn in the sand with a stick. It was of a being with airfoils.
A light precipitation had fallen earlier. As I trailed along the former part of the sand, a glint in the corner of my eye caught my attention. I looked out at the water and saw what appeared to be a light blue outline of wings beneath the surface.
A phosphorescent wall of creatures surrounded me.
As the days march on, I know I am stalked by something I cannot rebel against, let alone have any agency or autonomy over. My pillowcases have shredded, the pipes in my basement have burst, and someone left me a gift at my front door. When I opened it, I saw mice scurry away. It was a book, and it was one about the history of fairies.
I picked it up and had to blow the dust off of it. Someone had stolen it from a musty subterranean chamber and brought it here.
I theorized that it was Samantha, passive aggressive with her disappointment in me. Yet I flip through its pages and find it all too familiar. I cannot help but wonder if this is a sign of something far more dangerous.

2023.05.28 12:59 shadereckless My new hobby - a shower thought
I've been feeling at a loose end on the weekends and so have been thinking about taking up a new hobby.
I thought about tennis or golf, but actually what I've settled on is swinging a machete around when I walk down the street.
Now, I know what you're thinking, swinging a machete around while walking down the street sounds pretty inconsiderate, but what you need to appreciate is that I'm different, I'm very disaplined in how I swing my machete when I walk down the street
I've see people swing tennis rackets when they walk down the street sometimes, as long as I'm careful I just don't see the difference, why should you get to tell me what I want to swing! This is a free country!
Sorry, where was I?
Ah yes, yeah i heard someone say 'but what if a child runs out in front of your machete by accident', well that's just their parents fault isn't it, why should I be responsible for their negligent, neglectful parenting.

2023.05.28 09:00 Mootsy101 People Enjoying the Game!!!
After patch 1.19 update!!!
I am reposting this, because it sums up my thoughts so far on the game from my own experiences, but i am enjoying the game now, and feel bad about all those low reviews they got at launch week, even though it sorta made sense. I made a nice review of the game on the JB website today, as i think a fair chunk of people are actually fond of Big Ant because a lot of people enjoyed AFL Live in 2011 and all the cricket games they made and want to see them do well. So think it'd be good to have a thread where people are having fun with the game :)
"My hot take, and everyone is different in regarding their thoughts on a game, any game.
So, it's up to patch 1.19 and it's far better than launch day week. It's really getting there and would say as it stands now, is sort of like a Fifa 21 style AFL game, so it's good. But it got hammered by reviews and negativity in that first two week period, and look, probably rightly so, Remember that they uploaded a game that broke on install/upload, it stripped the coding, and they had to slowly fix it, so it wasn't the game they intended to release, but anyway, as for right now, The positives:
- Graphics are smooth, players, stadiums, grass, crowd, signage etc..very good!
- Gameplay is way better now. Handballs have a good 360 degree/circle disposal arch now and go where you want it to. Mostly.
- Kicking, short kicks using (x) is good, have no issues and it's enjoyable finding the open player that you are aiming for. Long kicks are fine, allows for a simple grab on the lead, push (L2) + (Triangle) and you can take a speccy, just need to time your run to the pack.
- Goal kicking animation bar has been improved with wind direction graphics and feels more satisfying.
- Snap kicks on the boundary look and feel great.
- Spoiling is really satisfying, time your run and press spoil and it's another satisfying option to try.
- The player animations, movements are improved and look smooth/fluid. I think they will add more to this over time.
- Centre bounces are fun, push (R2) and tap it out further to advantage.
- Community option in menu allows you to download custom made stadiums and jumpers, so Tassie Devils, Waverly Park, Suniaco Oval, The Bat-Cave.
- The commentary is really well edited in, and that is hard to explain until you play it, meaning the comments are usually pretty precise, relevant and have an element of realism and flow that's better than past games have ever achieved.
- Use (Ball-Trail) in settings, in-game. It's a tail/trail that hangs off the ball and allows you to see ball direction with more scope and accuracy, highly recommend this feature being turned on.
- I recommend (side-normal) camera angle. Looks like a TV broadcast side angle and is my favourite, but you may prefer other angles.
Negatives:
- Hard can be really tricky, but it might just need a lot of practice to master i guess. Easy is sometimes too easy, but it's usually against a much lower rated side.
- I think they are tweaking around with the easy/medium/hard modes, as it's difficult to get right for an AFL game.
- Management mode needs some work
- Tactics is still being worked on to be included
- Am assuming sliders will arrive at some point
- still some bugs, such as, when lining up for goal, the player walks through a defender standing on the mark, like a ghost. Another would be a random hand-handball travelling 50 metres. But overall, it's good, mostly. Also, when your player is on the mark in defence sometimes they are locked into that position for too long before running off the mark(in my opinion). Also, sometimes there feels like a circle/barrier surrounding the opposing player, where you can't run to them right away, like a two second delay to run for a tackle or spoil, not always, but at certain moments.
- The crashes are far less frequent, i've had 1 blue screen in the last week, where as in the first week it was crashing every game.
- players, goal umpires sometimes look like they are sliding and not walking, definitely something to look at fixing.
Conclusion: The game they released was stripped of coding at launch and BA were going through disaster recovery and had a fair bit of fixing to do. But by the time it's out on Xbox, it'll definitely be worth getting. As it's good right now, at version 1.19, and i imagine by the time Xbox gets it, just say it's 1.30+ or something, then it'll be even better.
At launch: my rating would be 1/10(broken), right now a glowing 7/10 with the negatives i mentioned to be worked on, potentially an 8/10 sports game on par with the Fifa 16-21 series games and can only improve from here with regular updates.
Also, one thing people might be missing in all this, is that Big Ant are the premiere sporting game design company in the southern hemisphere, they have made Don Bradman, Ashes cricket, Cricket 17/19/22/24, AO Tennis, Rugby League Live 1/2/3/4, Lacrosse 18, and now they've returned to AFL, they made AFL Live in 2011 for those who have forgotten, and i think they are the company you want making a sports game for your sporting code, even though the AFL23 launch was a disaster, they've really worked hard at fixing things quickly. That aside. It's a point i wanted to make.
Unless EA, Ubisoft or 2K are willing to do it. Then you won't get a lot better than Big Ant doing it, for a league that only exists in one country and is dominated by 2 states. Obviously you just need to be a little patient with the updates rolling in, and they are rolling in daily."....

EXAMPLES OF ORGANIZED GANG STALKING HARASSMENT
Slashed Tires, Threatening Phone Calls, Verbal Assaults by Strangers, Property Damage, Death Threats, Following on Foot or by Vehicle, Bizarre Notes and Drawings Left, Loitering, Anonymous False Accusations to Friends, Family, and Neighbors, Character Assassination, Smear Campaigns, "Black-Listing", Psychological Abuse, etc.
TACTICS AND METHODS USED BY THESE ORGANIZED GANG STALKING AND HARASSMENT GROUPS
The following techniques are several types that are often used against Targeted Individuals. There are other techniques used, but these are some of the primary ones.
ANCHORING
Anchoring is a technique employed by stalkers to implant a false motivation or reason behind the stalking preventing the victim from discovering the truth. In more sinister examples, Anchoring involves the implantation of evidence to persuade the victim some other group or organization is responsible for the abuse. Anchoring
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anchoring. In Organized Gang Stalking, Anchoring is used to make the target have fear with things happening in your daily life that's considered to be normal. That can be done with frequent demonstrations. The key is the frequency just like other Organized Gang Stalking methods. For example, People show you a pen every where you go, and their attitude is rude or crazy against you. You don't know them. You just wonder what's going on. Imagine that happens everyday, for a week, for a month, for a year, then, that makes you have fear with a pen. In this case, a pen is ANCHORED with your state of fear. It can be anything. An open car door or trunk, a pencil, a cell phone, notebook computer, a medical mask, clothes of the same color, anything. Every time I go somewhere during the day, an anchoring threat is made by car or truck with a door(s) or trunk open and no one in it sitting in someone's driveway along my route. This is a sign to get out!
AIR STALKING
This is when helicopters or planes are used to track targets that are on foot, or in cars. They fly over head and follow the targets from one location to the next. Some will monitor the targets shortly after they leave their homes.
BAITING/ENTRAPMENT
The term Baiting is a stalking tactic used to lure a victim into environments, or situations, which cause further problems to the victim. Often Baiting involves tricking a victim into committing a crime or unknowingly engaging in an illegal activity. To lure into dangerous, difficult, or a compromising situations. Members of these Organized Stalking and Harassment groups will try to lure targets into various situations for the sole purpose of setting them up. Setting up targets could involve getting them arrested, institutionalized, set up on fake sexual harassment charges, drug charges, illegal pornographic materials, etc. Once this happens, it put's targets at risk for entrapment into becoming members themselves.
BRIGHTING
Brighting is shining or flashing bright head lights on targets As targets walk on the street, usually at night, members of these Organized Gang Stalking will turn on their high beams. This might be flashed once or twice at targets. This might be used to let targets know they are being watched, however these signals might also be a way for Informants in cars at night, to communicate with their fellow counterparts. The foot patrols will then communicate back to the Informant in the car, using a combination of hand signals you will see members of these groups riding around during the day with their headlights or hi beams on. The victim is usually followed and may be "flashed" from either a "tail-gating" vehicle or a passing or on-coming one. "Brighting" also occurs when bright lights are flashed into a victim's home-windows.
CAR ACCIDENTS
Targeted Individuals complain about being cut off, driven off the road, and near fatal or fatal car accidents. Pedestrian targets complain about cars that consistently cut them off, being hit by cars, and other almost near mishaps.
CROWDING / MOBBING
When the target is in public, members of these Organized Gang Stalking groups will usually try to box the target in. Eg. They will surround the target in a square like formation if possible. They will stand too close to the target, or swarm them. QUOTE "We experienced being mobbed by vehicles from CT NY and NJ at the beginning of our trip. Some of the gangs talkers were couples with their children along! Some smirked at us and showed weapons to us through their windows, though none actually fired upon us".
COLOR HARASSMENT
Color Harassment is literally the use of color to harass a victim. Usually, monochromatic color schemes are used, though this choice is pretty much up to the stalkers. An example of Color Harassment would be a line of stalkers, in red shirts, circling a victim. Color Harassment is often combined with other stalking tactics.
CONVOY
Convoy is a tactic of stalkers referring to the practice of a group of "tail-gaiting" cars passing repeatedly in front of the home of the victim. Vehicles used may be of the same color, and stalkers may honk the car horn or flash the car headlights as they pass.
CYBER-STALKING
Cyber Stalking or Cyber Harassment is a related group of harassing behavior occurring via internet/online. Cyber Stalking includes, but is not limited to; Computer Hacking, "Trolling", Spamming (Often including "Porn Deluges", Verbal Assaults, Character Assassination, and Impersonations of the victim. Online harassment is a plank of the harassment protocol. If you have a website devoted to Organized Stalking you may have people emailing you to flame you, or claiming that they are victims & asking for support with the intention of discrediting you. You may receive unsolicited email that parallels a current event in your life. Again, surveillance is used primarily for harassment. Or you may receive covert insults & threats. If you join a support group, you may also receive harassment via threads posted on message boards. Like other mediums of harassment, the topics of these threads may be about events that are unfolding in your personal life, as well as threats or insults covertly directed at you. This will probably happen repeatedly by the same person or people. They may also employ some Gaslighting, or Jacketing tactics. Jacketing was often used during Cointelpro to make genuine activists look like informants. Some internet groups which help stalking victims are heavily populated with perpetrators posing as victims. Some of these perpetrators seem to be very vocal & popular members of these support groups.
DIRECTED CONVERSATIONS
Directed Conversation is a term referring to a stalking tactic using stranger's conversation to both intimidate and to convey to the victim that they are under surveillance. During Directed Conversation, two or more stalkers will approach near to the target and engage in "normal" conversation with one another. The conversation is purposefully made at a level so that the victim can adequately hear what is being said. During Directed Conversation, personal information concerning the victim is inserted into the speech and emphasized by the stalkers in a fashion that most non-victims would not be able to discern as harassment. The purpose of Directed Conversation is to harass a victim, as well as make the victim appear mentally unstable should they attempt to complain about such abuse. These are conversations that complete strangers will have out in public relating to the target and their personal situations. Eg. They will repeat things a target said in their home, or on the phone. They will drop very personal details into the conversation, that could only be related to the target. Eg. Member #1. It's a shame Uncle Ed won't be able to come.Member #2. Yeah since he died golfing on Saturday. The target will just have learned of a death of a favored uncle, (possibly named Ed.) while out golfing.
ELECTRONIC HARASSMENT
Electronic Harassment is the use of technological devices to spy on or cause harm to targeted victims. For example, exposure to a high magnetic field has been shown to induce hallucinations in humans while exposure to intense microwave radiation induces psychotic episodes and causes brain damage. A frequent form of Electronic Harassment involves beaming a low frequency "hum" or "tone" into a victim's home or general area. Over time, the exposure causes the victim to lose sleep, become agitated, and suffer the effects of prolonged stress. Such tactics are also being used in cases of hostage situations as well as covert government operations. Electromagnetic weapons and frequencies will be used on a target on their homes. The purpose of using the EMF (Electromagnetic Frequency) on targets ad their belonging are multifaceted. Electronic frequencies can destroy electronic equipment. Electronic frequencies can be used for monitoring and tracking inside the home, and at work. It can also be used for purposes of sleep disturbance. When those conducting these covert investigations feel that they have psychologically destroyed the target to where they are near breakdown they will start to use these weapons. They will also use these weapons if targets are not going along with their harassment protocol. Electronic Harassment

FAKE CREDIBILITY REPORTS
Fake Credibility Reports. fake credibility reports are being used to subtly discredit and attack legitimate websites regarding Organized Gang Stalking, including the Gang Stalking World website. Under the guise of doing good for the community.
www.gangstalkingworld.com
FILES
It has been indicated that targets will have warning markers placed against their files. The information is then shared with relatives, store keepers, friends, and the community at large. The files are usually not left behind, but they are used to prejudice and slander individuals against the target. These files can be used to engender the corporation of friends and associates of the targets. The files might have a picture of the target, and information about some alleged crime, incidents, that the target has been flagged for, or is under investigation for. The information is usually very convincing and helps to further get targets harassed by those around them.
GAS LIGHTING
Gas Lighting is a Psychological technique used my members of these groups The purpose of Gas Lighting is to make a victim question his or her sanity. Doing little things to try to make the target think that they are going crazy. Gas Lighting simply is trying to convince someone that they are crazy or "imagining things" Example if you mention Organized Gang Stalking to someone who knows about it and they tell you your crazy or paranoid they ARE Gas Lighting you. The term Gas-Lighting originates from the 1944 film Gaslight. In the movie, the character of Gregory Anton, played by actor Charles Boyer, attempts to drive the character Pauline, played by actress Ingrid Bergman, insane. The phrase Gas-Lighting has come to mean similar actions and behavior, as used in the film, against a victim. 1944 Gaslight staring Ingrid Bergman
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaslight_%281944...
GHOSTING
The term Ghosting refers to the practice of rearranging, or moving, of a victim's home furniture, lawn decorations, desk decorations at work, etc. The purpose of Ghosting is to make a victim question his or her sanity. Ghosting is also designed to make others question the sanity of the victim, especially if the victim attempts to complain of the abuse.
GESTURES
Hand Gestures such as intentionally touching hand to face or bringing fist or hand to face while around person being targeted. Arm Gestures which involves members of these Organized Stalking and Harassment groups repeatedly driving by a targeted victims location or home holding their arms out of vehicle windows, usually in an unnatural awkward low position. As part of the Organized Stalking crime, victims are being daily subjected to and psychologically harassed by manipulated individuals participating in this intentional bizarre Arm Gesture harassment. It is a known fact that the individuals involved in the Organized Stalking and Technological Harassment crime syndicate are also involved in Criminal Racketeering/Sexual Exploitation/Human Trafficking Operations via the criminal utilization of Remote Neural Monitoring satellite technology, where these criminal individuals are illegally profiting (Racketeering) off of the technological Sexual Exploitation of victims. In some cases, these Arm Gestures are being utilized as a male masturbation sexual harassment reference that is designed to sexually harass and degrade targeted victims. It should also be importantly noted that female victims also report being harassed in a similar manner by individuals involved in the harassment by placing their fingers in their mouths while around the victim which is meant to be a female masturbation reference. The fact is the manipulated individuals involved in the Organized Stalking crime repeatedly and deliberately convey things to victims through symbolic references and numbers, which is also an attempt to cause targeted victims to falsely appear to be exhibiting signs of paranoid schizophrenia such as 'delusions of reference' when victims attempt to explain that they are being harassed by individuals holding their arms out of vehicle windows or making other gestures to them. The Arm gesture harassment has been continuously documented by victims and uploaded to the internet.
ILLEGAL SURVEILLANCE
This involves setting up audio and some visual surveillance of the target. Bugging the targets phone. Surveillance in the targets residence Listening to cell phone and hard line conversations. Hacking into their computers and learning all about what the target is doing, sites they frequent. or planting things, This also helps to build a profile of the target, and it's also used for later psychological attacks against the target, via Parroting and Directed Conversations.
Examples Of Illegal Surveillance
Illegal Criminal Electronic Monitoring
Illegal Criminal Phone And Computer Taps
Illegal Criminal Remote Neural Monitoring
MIMICRY
Mimicry or mirroring is a specialized form of harassment in which the stalkers publicly imitate every movement made by the victim. This is trying to copy things in a targets life. Leaving when they do. Dressing like they dress. Throwing out the garbage. Going to the bathroom Doing whatever the target is doing. This is all designed to be psychological warfare, so that the target again feels like they are under observation at all times.
MOBBING
Mobbing is a term that describes "Group Bullying". Of itself, Mobbing is not equated with Gang Stalking. However, Mobbing may be a tactic used by the perpetrators of Gang Stalking. Mobbing
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobbing
NOISE HARASSMENT CAMPAIGN
A Noise Harassment Campaign is an orchestrated effort to produce stress in a victim through prolonged exposure to significant noise levels. A Noise Campaign can range from multiple neighbors routinely playing loud music, individual stalkers with air-horns or fireworks, or organized "repair work" that involves a high level of noise This will include anything from Loud vehicles, Loud mufflers doors slamming above you and below you. Garbage disposal slamming doors, Hammering intentionally slamming car doors loudly, loud stereos, stomping, at specific times, loud coughing, pots slamming, water running, cupboard doors being slammed, fridge motor running all night, power tools, etc.
NUMBER HARASSMENT
Number Harassment is literally the use of numbers to Harass a target and victim, This can include the brainwashed members of these cults driving by a victims home at a certain time, exiting or entering the neighborhood at a certain set time, or performing a Harassment task or skit, at a certain time of the day or night, for the purpose of harassment to the target and victim. The Number Harassment may be done in synchronicity with other members of these cults, For example a member of the cult arrives home at 7:07 in the afternoon and another member of the cult leaves at 7:07 at the same time, The next morning, one of the same members of the cult leaves home at 7:07 followed by another member of the cult. The individuals that belong to these cults are using local police 10 ham radio codes, to harass and to convey harassment related themes to the individual being targeted for years at a time, the only logical explanation that can be drawn as to why these brainwashed cult members are using local police 10 codes to Harass other citizens, is that they have been deluded into thinking that they are somehow police, the idea behind the Number Harassment, is to get the individual being targeted sensitized to certain numbers, so that they can be constantly Harassed by use of these numbers. Most importantly the members of these cults have already been sensitized, conditioned, and brainwashed to these specific numbers, and are constantly looking to their watches and clocks, to see what the time is, in case they have a Harassment skit or order to perform at a specific time of the day or night, that has been passed to them by their criminal leader and organizer via a cell phone text. that's correct these cult members are actually being given a Harassment task and Street Theater Scripts to perform at a certain time of the day for the purpose of Harassment to another individual, despite the fact that the individual being targeted can easily document this Harassment and Cult behavior using a video camera with a date and time stamp, and sue the individuals for damages of Harassment and Emotional Distress.
SENSITIZATION
Sensitization is a psychological term referring to the forced association between a stimuli and a corresponding reaction. Members of these groups use Sensitization to psychologically abuse a victim. For example, if a stalker constantly harasses a victim while wearing a blue baseball cap, then overtime the victim will begin to believe anyone wearing a blue baseball cap is a stalker and is coming to harass. Sensitization This is getting targets sensitive to an everyday stimuli. Eg. Colors, patterns or everyday actions. Eg. Red, stripes, pens, whistles, loud coughing, clapping, waves, keys jingling. Eg. Joe will be mobbed at work and as part of that daily mobbing his coworkers will loudly cough at him every time they harass him by calling him names like loser, worthless, lame, demented. They will slander him and have others as they are slandering him show disgust by glaring and coughing at him. Out in public they will follow him loudly and obnoxiously coughing at him. When he goes to stores they will get others to do the same. After months or years of this, Joe has become sensitive to this stimuli and it can be used to harass him without the names and the glaring looks. The association has been formed because of all the other harassment. Eg. A girl is sexually assaulted and a sock is shoved in her mouth during the assault. To keep her quite or stop her from pressing charges, the assailant, his friends and family will follow her around and throw socks in her path, mention it everywhere she goes and show her their socks every chance they get. She will get the message they are sending. Because of the brutal attack, she and what's happened after she is now sensitized. Sensitization undoubtedly creates an extreme level of fear in a victim, in direct fulfillment of the intentions of the stalkers. Sensitization
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sensitization
STREET THEATER
Street Theater is a term used to describe the odd-actions and behaviors that stalkers sometimes neighbors do in public, in an attempt to rile the victim. Such behavior often borders on the extremely bizarre and is aimed at a blurring of the boundaries between reality and fantasy in the minds of the victims. This is running into people that are acting very unusual, or people that are putting on a show or production, known as street theater. Eg. This could be as minor as public rudeness, or people acting out a harassment skit . There will usually be someone near by to see how you react to it. This is again looking for weakness or reactions. If you show an adverse reaction they will try to embellish on this and use it against you later on. Street Theater is Harassment skits done by strangers and neighbors who have been 'recruited' into these Stalking and Harassment groups. Examples of Street Theater: Baiting, Brighting, Color Harassment, Convoys, Directed Conversation, Ghosting, Mimicry, Noise Campaigns, etc.
SYNCHRONIZED HARASSMENT ACTIVITIES
Synchronized activities refers to the synchronized activities done by members of these groups to Harass a target which may include but not limited to neighbors arriving home at the same time or leaving home at the same time, or strangers or neighbors leaving or arriving home at the same time. E.g. One neighbor leaves his or her house at the same time another neighbor arrives home . E.g. 2 A neighbor arrives home and at the exact same time a complete stranger or pedestrian walks by a targets home. This synchronized activity is one of the main techniques used in harassing a target and is repeated. E.g. 3 A target leaves his or her home at the exact same time a neighbor who has been recruited into the harassment leaves their home followed by a airplane or helicopter flying overhead.this synchronized harassment will turn into a pattern and may include the use of numbers such as 2 neighbors arriving home At 3:13 and 2 other neighbors leaves their home at 3:30, the same neighbors arrives back home at 3:43. Synchronized Harassment Activities can be done with almost anything: Neighbors arriving/exiting at the same time aircraft flying overhead as neighbors are leaving or arriving home, Harassment telephone calls made to the targets home just as neighbors who have been recruited into the Harassment are leaving or arriving they key to this is timing and frequency. The main motivation behind Synchronized Harassment Activities is again that if the target complains about this type of Harassment he or she may be perceived as mentally ill.

2023.05.27 18:38 this_is_me_drunk What is the reason/logic behind the inconsistent "Controls restricted on this channel"?
Sometimes I can pause and rewind a channel stream, sometimes I can't. It doesn't seem to make any logical sense when the controls are restricted and when they are not.
For example, I was watching the Tennis Channel earlier today. I tried to rewind to see a point again and I could not. A few minutes later I switched to a different channel for a minute and back to Tennis Channel. The pause and rewind started to work normally again.
Is there some sort of logic to it or is it a random bug?

2023.05.27 18:31 gmu_nu babolat pure aero: inquiry and suggestion
I have been playing for a year and wanted to switch to a better racket for improvement. I recently bought a used babolat pure aero 2016 (4 3/8) from ebay. Before purchasing it, I checked
the specs from tennis express and the unstrung weight was to be 10.6 oz which met my expectation, as I wanted a heavy racket with head light. After receiving the package, I found out the weight written on the racket was 10.1 oz. Is it common to have this kind of discrepancy with this model? I have hit with it, and felt light indeed. I was excited about the racket, but this kinda bums me out
Also, it seemed to be re-strung with a not too tight string. How can restringing make any change to weight and strokes in this case? Thanks!
(I could be wrong, I think the racket is not the
lite version of the model, because the lite racket is 4 HL while mine is 7 HL (balance 32 cm). Perhaps HL is not the crucial parameter to distinguish lite vs regular.)
P.S. Sorry if this post seems naive, I just wanted to have some ideas about this model and what I can do regarding that!

2023.05.27 13:49 BrainburnDev Twin Stick Tennis Announcement The revolutionary controls digital tennis deserves? Try the demo and judge yourself!
I play tennis all my life and wanted a Tennis game where you actually swing for shots. So I made Twin Stick Tennis a game that makes smacking balls feel good! The game is quite different from the classic tennis games as you control the player with left analog stick (or WASD) and the racket with the right analog stick (or mouse). There is a GIF on the steam page visualizing how you play!
With full control over player and racket your skill and tactics will make the difference. Will you be able to master the ball and dominate the court? Play epic matches against friends, or start a career and become the next big smack champion!
Twin Stick Tennis on Steam - Play the Demo
- See the Trailer
- See game-play GIFs
- Full release planned for Q4 2023

I appreciate feedback and will be around to answer any questions!

2023.05.27 06:15 the-abbe-busoni Practice tip: wrap padlock in tennis racket handle grip
| I’m relatively new to picking but have found an inexpensive way to protect my hands from the sharp edges of some padlocks while practicing: tennis racket handle overgrip tape. You can buy it in the US at most sporting good stores for a couple of dollars (you could wrap 6 locks for about $10 USD). Secure it from unwrapping with a broccoli band or other wide rubber band. I learned this trick playing foosball. Especially handy for the smaller and sharper brass body padlocks. Easy to transfer to another lock when you’re done. submitted by the-abbe-busoni to lockpicking [link] [comments] |

2023.05.26 18:56 KateTWCA Best place in Calgary to buy miraculous ladybug toys ?
Hope it’s ok to post here. My 7yo son is a huge fan of ladybug. We’ve ordered CosmoBug from US Amazon and shopped some from ToysRus and Walmart. Any place we can go to look more ? Thanks.
