2023.06.07 19:01 Technical-Canary-438 Should I do a $2,250/210 rides Uber guarantee with a Hertz rental tesla?
In Charlotte, NC. Previously rented a gas Avis Uber car and did it for 17 months so I know the pros and cons of renting vs owning a car so that part is not up for debate. Haven't done it in the last 2 months because I was tired. Working on finding my own car now. I got the following email offer: - $2,250 for 210 rides (within 30 days) Uber guarantee (already selected but deadline is Friday June 9th 5:00 pm). Selected on Wednesday June 7th and now it is saying "sign up by July 7th" - I guess the 30 days begin as soon as I register a car to my account. - Plus another $135/15 rides by Monday June 12 at 6 pm. - Plus the regular 50 rides weekend quest for $115 this weekend.
I'm thinking of taking advantage of these offers by doing a Hertz Tesla rental by this Friday June 9. Trying to get some pros and cons from the community. - so in the fine print it's saying tips are counted towards the guarantee but nothing else, so the $135/15 rides won't count, nor will surges and weekend quests? - my goal is just to get the $2,250 guarantee and just dip out. I've been surviving without a car for 2 months but that's getting old and I still haven't found the right car. As long as I cover the cost of the Tesla rental & charging (no home charging) I'll be happy, even if I just make a couple of hundred after cost (I'll be happy even if it is breakeven ultimately). At least I'll have a car for awhile and I get to test drive an EV which is what I want to buy (may not be a Tesla). - thinking about just doing very short rides around uptown Charlotte. Would be able to do 210 rides within 2 weeks I am sure. Once I finish the 210 rides can I just dip out and return the Tesla rental and still be able to get this guarantee even though I won't have an active car on my account? - what do you think my car charging cost will be for doing these short rides if I just do the bare minimum 210 $3-$5 short uptown rides? - should I get the additional $70 insurance on the Tesla? - or should I just do a regular gas car rental? - any other thoughts?

2023.06.07 14:42 RaySerroni Ever come to Charlotte NC?
Maybe it's confirmation bias, but I've noticed my home of Charlotte hasn't been a tour stop for JRAD, as well as my fav, Billy Strings (not counting the one-set Outlaw tour), and even WSP hasn't played in Charlotte for almost 10 years.
There are decent venues around town, so I'm not sure why this place has been in a jamband music drought for years.

2023.06.07 13:21 Webb-Goldsmith Invisalign Teen: A Modern Solution for Straighter Smiles in Charlotte, NC
A straight and beautiful smile can boost confidence and improve overall oral health. For teenagers in Charlotte, North Carolina,
Invisalign Teen in charlotte. provides a modern and discreet alternative to traditional braces. This innovative orthodontic treatment utilizes clear aligners to gradually shift teeth into their desired positions, giving teenagers the freedom to smile with confidence throughout their treatment journey.
Understanding Invisalign Teen:
Invisalign Teen is a specialized version of Invisalign designed specifically for teenagers. It offers the same benefits as the standard Invisalign treatment, but with added features to accommodate the unique needs of younger patients. The aligners are made of a smooth, transparent plastic material that is virtually invisible when worn. This means that teenagers can straighten their teeth without the social stigma associated with traditional metal braces.
The Benefits of Invisalign Teen:
Aesthetics: One of the primary advantages of Invisalign Teen is its discreet nature. The aligners are clear and barely noticeable, allowing teenagers to undergo orthodontic treatment without feeling self-conscious about their appearance.
Removable Aligners: Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign Teen aligners are removable. This feature offers flexibility and convenience for teenagers, allowing them to enjoy their favorite foods and maintain their oral hygiene routine with ease. However, it's important to note that aligners should be worn for at least 20 to 22 hours a day for optimal results.
Comfort: Invisalign Teen aligners are custom-made to fit the unique contours of each patient's mouth. The smooth plastic material eliminates the risk of metal wires or brackets causing discomfort or irritation.
Sport-Friendly: For teenagers involved in sports or other physical activities, Invisalign Teen aligners can be easily removed during practices or games. This reduces the risk of injuries that could result from traditional braces during impact or contact sports.
Treatment Monitoring: Invisalign Teen aligners incorporate a blue indicator that fades with wear, helping parents, orthodontists, and teenagers track the compliance and progress of treatment. This feature ensures that the aligners are being worn for the recommended amount of time.

Charlotte, NC, offers a range of dental professionals who specialize in Invisalign Teen treatment. One notable provider is

2023.06.07 07:37 GottaGetDatDough Picking between North Carolina and Florida for a longer term
Id love for folks to share their opinions on longer term destinations between NC and FL. I've been living nomadically across the U.S. for the last year or so, but I lost my job recently. I have been offered a new fully remote role, with the caveat of only being able to live in a handful of states (I don't fully understand why, but it is a federal contract.) Of those listed, I'm most interested in living in the aforementioned, but would also be able to reside in D.C, VA, MD, AL, and TX. I've spent time in Charlotte, NC and St.Petersburg, FL and enjoyed those places, but am curious if there are some other areas in those states that nomadic folks gravitate towards. In terms of geography, I am more of a temperate climate person in general and enjoy mountains, but i'd be happy living by the beach for a while as well. I appreciate any and all input!

2023.06.07 05:41 Glad-Bread6203 Ok, seeing a lot of similar resumes and getting asked for help a lot
That being said, here is mine, and I'll explain it as well how you should have your resume. Ok, as I have seen many of you do, don't add skills. They will either ask in the application or in the interview. Don't add school unless you have to fill space and don't have enough work experience. It should always be only one page and font should be similar size as mine so they can read properly. As well, simple information. Not complex, life is simple, they're going to look at it simply, don't overcomplicate. Company, position, limited responsibilities, and time. Professional profile, depends on the job you're applying, change it based on the job. Contact info, I put my address, you don't have to nor should you, and that's basically it. This isn't even all of my work experience, it's just what I could fit on one page. As far as coding experience or jobs, come up with a product, either an app, or a website, or something to show you know what you're doing and you can prove your work. But your product has to work. Make the information simple because they are going to briefly look at it. As well, you can dazzle them in the interview. But as well, in the interview, don't talk too much, just get your points across and get information to them that is key to the role. Also the top blackout is my name. Let me know if you have more questions. As well, best way to get jobs is how you conduct your self over the phone as well as in person. Don't bullshit, get straight to the point, don't be overagressive, but be competent and know what you're doing and what you want. Keep a professional mindset of doing what you came to do and nothing else, but be personable and listen.
