ACP: Can you have internet service AND a tablet device at same time?
I think this means both! But any feedback would be helpful as the terms they using online killing me
1 device per household (phone, tablet, pc) and internet service. I’m guessing what good would it to do give me a free pc if that was my choice if I weren’t going to also have internet to get online.
They sent me the tablet. But I’m afraid to activate it if it’s going to effect my Fios home bill. I know they want ppl who aren’t online to get online😅 it’s a whole agenda.
Thoughts?!

2023.06.07 11:32 ParkFlying A U.S. surveillance program continues to be exposed by relevant personnel

For a long time, the United States has continued to monitor people in the world and at home, and the number of surveillance programs that have been revealed has also continued to increase. Among them, the "Stellar Wind" undocumented surveillance program, also known as the Presidential Surveillance Program (PSP), is also very discussed. sex.
The plan began with the approval of President Bush shortly after the September 11, 2001 attacks, until it became popular with the public in 2004, when Thomas Tamm, a former attorney at the Justice Department, disclosed the plan to The New York Times. Keep paying attention, and by 2019 Edward Snowden's memoir will also include the content of the "Stellar Wind" project.
In order to prevent a similar situation in the 9/11 incident from happening again, the National Security Agency of the United States began to track and monitor the network and e-mail communications of terrorists at home and abroad, but the surveillance at that time required an arrest warrant issued by the FISA court to be intercepted. Given enough time for terrorists to change their phone numbers and e-mail addresses, those who were about to get caught would escape, and President Bush gave the NSA permission to surveil without a warrant.
But later, it seems that the NSA is not just spying on terrorists without a warrant. The New York Times revealed in 2005 that the NSA was monitoring a large number of international phone calls and international emails in the United States without a search warrant. Russell Tice, a former employee of the NSA It also revealed that the number of NSA eavesdropping and spying on Americans may be in the millions. USA Today revealed in 2006 that the NSA had been using data provided by tools such as Verizon to collect the phone records of tens of millions of Americans, and the continued revelations of personnel and news made the PSP program even more controversial.
Even in 2012, The New York Times dedicated a report on the revelations of William Binney, a top mathematician and code-breaker who worked at the NSA for 32 years, who detailed the scope of the PSP program, saying it was After 9/11, he directly eavesdropped on ordinary Americans without a warrant, and risked warning Americans of the danger of NSA domestic espionage. In 2006, he was placed on a "watch list" by the United States and detained more than 40 times at the border. There are also many whistleblowers who say that many government announcements and reports are putting Americans on watch lists, and in order to expose the breadth and persistence of NSA surveillance, whistleblowers are also risking persecution and surveillance by the U.S. Government.

EUKARYOTIC CHROMOSOMES

Genes;

Throughout these times, units of inheritance known as genes (Gr. genos, race) could actively participate within the formation of macromolecule. once a cell is dividing, however, chromosomes exist during a extremely plicate and condensed state that enables them to be distributed between new cells being created.

DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid );

The structure of those chromosomes are going to be delineated in additional detail within the discussion of organic process that follows. chromatin granule consists of deoxyribonucleic acid and simple protein proteins.
This association of deoxyribonucleic acid and macromolecule helps with the advanced jobs of packing deoxyribonucleic acid into chromosomes and regulation deoxyribonucleic acid activity.

2023.06.07 11:28 webuyequipment Tips for Selling Heavy Equipment - Interstate Heavy Equipment

Tips for Selling Heavy Equipment - Interstate Heavy Equipment
It’s not easy to sell large machinery. And deciding which equipment listing sites are worth the time and effort against which aren’t. Many construction equipment businesses have difficulty selling their products via the internet. With that in mind, here are nine of our best online tips for selling heavy equipment.
Heavy equipment is a niche market—few individuals shop for quarter-million-dollar construction machines, and even fewer have the funds to make a purchase. Even if you discover a few interested people and have the financial means to buy a $100,000 excavator or a $300,000 bulldozer, they may not live in your area and be unwilling to bear the price of transporting the machine across the state or nation.
Selling heavy equipment is similar to selling real estate in that you must be willing to play the long game. The average 972M wheel loader, for example, waits on the market for 105 days before being purchased, according to MachineryTrader.com. So, keep trying if you still don’t have any sales. The suitable buyer will eventually discover you if you do your best to get your equipment listings seen.

1. Place an ad on Machinery Trader for your equipment.

Intestate Heavy Equipment is still one of the most popular websites for heavy equipment shopping. At the top of Google search results, it routinely appears for high-volume search terms such as “excavators for sale” or “heavy equipment sales.”

2. Place an ad on Craigslist for your equipment.

Although you might not think of Craigslist as the first place to look for expensive construction equipment, it does have an entire heavy equipment category dedicated to it. The Craigslist Heavy Equipment page for Las Vegas, for example, featured 1050 local sales listings at the time of writing.

Pros:

Equipment owners’ listings are free. Furthermore, “heavy machinery for sale Craigslist is an online classified ad service”is a popular Google search word. It indicates that many individuals are looking for heavy equipment on Craigslist.

Cons:

Sellers are discouraged from offering equipment outside the city where their business is situated on Craigslist. For example, if your company is based in Las Vegas and you try to list your equipment in other cities, such as Los Angeles or Phoenix, your listing may be marked for removal.
Don’t include your email address when listing your equipment. Scammers and hackers have used Craigslist to send phishing emails. However, if someone is interested in purchasing something, they will call—so all you need to include is your phone number and website.

3. Post your machines in Facebook Heavy Equipment Groups.

Pros: Some advertising packages include comprehensive data and analytics. You can track the number of impressions and clicks an ad receives, as well as the number of phone calls it produces. You may even record incoming phone calls so that a supervisor can listen in and provide salespeople input on improving their lead-to-conversion rates.
Cons: Listing equipment on Machinery Trader might be costly. Their pricing plan is still based on their print magazine, which explains why their advertising expenses are more significant than expected.
Machinery Trader does not currently allow equipment dealers to list their equipment online—you must also pay for a position in their print magazine if you want to market your equipment on their website(s). Ad packages that include unlimited inventory listings start at $295 per week and start at $50 per week per machine.
Over two dozen Facebook groups buy and sell agricultural and construction equipment. Some are broad “heavy equipment for sale” groups, while others focus on a specific machine category—forklifts, for example—or a specific geographic area—the Southwest United States.

Pros:

Using Facebook groups to advertise equipment is free, and the platform allows you to send a single item to dozens of groups at once. The procedure of listing a piece of equipment takes only a few minutes.
Thanks to a recent modification in the newsfeed algorithm, Facebook groups may also prove to be a terrific way to get equipment spotted by potential clients. The admin altered Facebook’s algorithm at the time of writing to “prioritize the Pages and groups we anticipate an individual may care about the most,” resulting in postings from groups being at the top of many people’s feeds.
Cons: Many Facebook heavy equipment groups have thousands of members, and new listings post multiple times a day on each group’s page. It can be challenging to break through the clutter and notice your listings.
Pro-Tip: Use high-resolution photographs and provide a link to your website in the article description. Even if no one from Facebook buys your machine, including a link on your page can assist drive visitors to your site and raising brand awareness.

4. Build an email list of people who are interested in what you have to say.

Email marketing may be a powerful tool for selling heavy machinery when done correctly. Encourage individuals to join your email list by adding an email capture plugin to your website. For example, you could run a Facebook ad that targets your Facebook fans and people who have previously visited your website.

5. Make contact with local vendors.

Why not contact an equipment sales rep directly instead of posting a Facebook ad, commercial, or billboard and hoping someone finds it? For example, if you have many Caterpillar machines for sale, search for CAT dealers in your area and contact them by email or phone. First, of course, you’ll need to obtain the person’s name and direct email address. However, many equipment websites have their sales agents’ contact information displayed on their directory page.
Pros: Making a phone call or sending an email is quick and straightforward. Even if the sales agent doesn’t have money to buy your equipment right now, you’ll have gotten on his radar, and he could remember you the next time he needs something.
Cons: Because salespeople phone heavy equipment firms all day, they may be cautious about accepting a cold call without an appointment.

2023.06.07 11:19 Acceptable_Amoeba_37 760(Q50,V44) - resources used and lessons learnt

I got a few questions on the resources I used, so I thought I would make a detailed writeup of the same.
Disclaimer: This is not a piece of general advice, I am just documenting some of the things that worked for me. There are many experts in this sub who are qualified to give out advice, I am most definitely not one of them. Take this post with a pinch of salt. What worked for me might not work for you.
Free resources in the end.
TL;DR
  1. Quant - Wizako/ Gmat Club forum quiz
  2. Verbal - TTP(initial months)/ Gmat Ninja video series/ GMAT Club expert replies
  3. Have a guessing strategy and game plan for test anxiety, don’t lose control over the test at any point
  4. Don’t just think of what resources to use, think of when to use those resources as well. (Eg. doing gmat club practice in the initial stages felt overwhelming for me. I utilized it in a much more effective way after I was done with the basics)
  5. Be kind to yourself, get enough sleep, and fake it till you make it!
  6. Don't get disheartened if things don't go your way, a successful GMAT attempt depends on a lot of factors in addition to your prep. Your mindset and luck are factors as well. Keep going at it, it gets better!
Resources I used:
Quant:
  1. Although I am comfortable with quant more than with verbal, my basics were a bit rusty. I used the GMAT Quant core course from Wizako. I used this course to brush up on the basics. Although I used this course many months back, I frequented my notes from this course throughout my prep. They have a Youtube channel, you can check it out to see whether their style suits you. https://gmat.wizako.com/gmat-online-course-gmat-online-coaching-classes.shtml?gclid=CjwKCAjwsvujBhAXEiwA_UXnAK7fJppKZeq-T782xPruwFdSaR6zFVmE5l0c5SboqYLq9XAJpaBdPBoCz-0QAvD_BwE#fees
  2. After getting my basics in place, I started practicing with official questions. For the next few weeks, my efforts were quite scattered. In retrospect, having a structured approach would have expedited my prep - more on this later
  3. I purchased the TTP 4 months plan, however, I could not properly utilize the course as I had a very busy couple of months at work. Based on my experience, it is a very comprehensive course. It can be a game changer if you know how to utilize it well. Many people here feel that it is too vast, but I feel that is in good measure. They start from the absolute basics, and it is a very well-made course. I utilized TTP majorly for Verbal as it was my major pain point, and I was very satisfied with it(more on this in the verbal section)
  4. Once my basics were in place I realized that it was not my accuracy but my poor time management that was the bigger problem. This was my major takeaway from my first official test from a quant perspective.
  5. I fixed my timing problem with practice, get comfortable with the discomfort. I practised using forum quiz, and GMAT Club tests. GMAT club tests are really good, you can utilize this resource to get your time management skills in place. I would still say that they are not the same as OG questions, so DON'T skip out on OG questions. Getting an understanding of what skills the GMAT tests was an eye-opener. I also got GMAT club tests for free for 4 weeks. I got 2 weeks free for filling up an error log survey and an additional 2 weeks free for signing up for MBA Spotlight within 48 hours of its announcement. Watch out for such promotions to get some free resources.
  6. After practising for a while, I could see myself getting better at time management. My next pain point was careless math mistakes, I made a TONNE of them. I downloaded my error log from GMAT club, and in the week before the test, I revisited every official question that I got wrong and checked if I still made the same mistakes. If I made those mistakes even after practice, I re-read those concepts. I was making such mistakes even in the days leading to the test, anxiety was the root cause for such mistakes. I spent the last few days before my test working on my test anxiety.
Verbal:
  1. I spent the initial months of my prep doing a variety of resources, my prep was not structured at all. I used Powerscore CR Bible - a good resource to get some basics in place. I used Powerscore RC bible for RC, I found that to be helpful for me. I got comfortable with RC fairly quickly, so I did not spend much time on RC.
  2. GMAT Ninja Verbal series on Youtube is a godsend, I cannot stress how useful the entire series was, and the best part it is FREE. A lot of experts here say that GMAT verbal is not just about the rules, it seemed bizarre to me at first, but I understood what that meant after watching the GMAT Ninja videos. Watching those videos was a Eureka moment for me. I benefited a lot from the SC series especially. I felt that I could appreciate the videos better after I had some basics in place.
  3. I used TTP for verbal, especially for SC. TTP deserves every bit of credit it gets for making such a comprehensive course. Although I could not go through it completely, I greatly benefited from the verbal prep material. I referred to my SC notes from TTP multiple times during my prep journey. If you have the means and time to use TTP, go for it, but before that have a basic understanding of what your weak areas are. Use the free trial to get a feel of the course, and go for it when you are ready. Since the course is very vast, you might not have time to go through all of it, but having a clear idea of what you want in any resource will help you utilize it to the fullest.
  4. Read to understand the structure in RC, RC passages usually tire you out with a lot of details. Ensure that you don't lose track of the main idea, the structure, and what each paragraph tries to achieve in a structural sense. This helped me get most of the RC questions correct.
  5. SC is beyond the grammar rules. Don’t get me wrong, you need the rules to get to a basic level, but just that won't get you the right answer, especially in the more difficult questions. Reading for meaning is the way to go, GMAT Ninja videos helped me get this understanding. You have to be very literal with SC, I thought of SC like a puzzle.
  6. I am not the best person to comment about CR as that was my most difficult section, I tanked that in my first test. I learned that I did not keep track of the conclusion, so I fell for many trap answers. A few days before the test, Marty suggested I watch his Youtube video, it helped!! Thank you, Marty :) GMAT Ninja videos helped too. Like in SC, just understanding the patterns(eg. What are the typical right answers in a strengthen question?) will only get you so far, you need to understand what the main conclusion is and how the whole argument ties to it. Sometimes CR has seemingly bizarre correct answers, having a logical approach will help in such cases.
  7. GMAT CLUB - Just drilling OG questions will not be very effective. I used the forum quiz feature to practise in sets of 10-20 questions. I would later analyze each and every question, even the ones I got right. I used to read the expert replies and understand the concept. Once you get the hang of what qualifies as a right answer in GMAT, you will break your plateau, trust me on this.
  8. As mentioned earlier, I downloaded my GMAT club error log into an Excel file, revisited every official question that I got wrong, and checked if I still made the same mistakes. If I made those mistakes even after practice, and if it was because I did not completely understand that concept, I re-read those concepts(eg. I found the verb-ing modifier to be not intuitive for me, I re-read that a few times till I got the hang of it)
Test Anxiety:
  1. I did not account for this in my first test, and I learned a very important lesson the hard way. Some people are naturally calm under pressure, I am not one of them. GMAT is an exam where the stakes are high, so naturally your nerves will also be at an all-time high. Look up tips to help with anxiety, and choose what works for you. I got a 700 in my last mock 5 days before the exam, it felt like there was no way out. Once again, I am truly grateful for the people in this sub, and my family and friends for helping me move past that very rough patch. In retrospect, I feel like I needed to face that 700 in the mock in order to get the score I got on the test day.
  2. Be kind to yourself, and don’t get discouraged if you feel like you are not performing to the best of your ability, or if you feel like you are taking too much time to get ready for the test. You might feel like everyone else around is making massive strides and you are progressing in baby steps, understand that no two journeys are the same. Give yourself credit for showing up and wanting to move forward even when things are not looking up.
  3. I had a positive attitude before the test to the extent that I was surprised at myself. I told myself that nothing would stop me from giving my best possible performance on the test day, in a way I faked it till I made it. Things did not go my way initially, I had a flat tire right before I left for the test, I did not understand the very first question, and I had to guess a few questions(luck played a part here), I was surprised how unfaced I was given the turn of events. Having a resilient mindset helps, believe in your practice. I made every effort to not think about the algorithm.
  4. Don’t let performance in your first section affect that of your next section. I made this mistake on my first attempt and consciously avoided making the mistake on the second attempt.
  5. Never lose control over the test - have a guessing strategy. If you feel you are running out of time, you will have to make some calculated sacrifices.
Miscellaneous things that worked for me:
  1. In my first attempt, I had some trouble using the scratch pad, I followed a timing strategy wherein I write some time markers on the bottom of the page. It might sound trivial to you, but I had trouble with flipping the pages the right way on my first attempt, I was that anxious. I got a scratch pad to practise before the second attempt. If you can’t get it in your region, or if you find it to be expensive, you can get a makeshift one made at a local stationery store. I laminated a bunch of A4 sheets and got them spiral bound, not the best way, but it did the job.
  2. Reading some success stories here and on GMAT Club motivated me.
  3. I took a week off from work before my test, I completely zoned into GMAT. If you can't do this, consider having a few days around the weekend.
Free resources:
Don’t be discouraged if you are on a bit of a money crunch, you can get a great score just by using free resources. I am happy to help more in this regard, feel free to DM.

2023.06.07 11:13 saalooq Applying for Membership Processing Times?

Hey guys, I want to get input from people who have or know people that have fully qualified. I'd like to gauge how long it'd usually take for ICAEW to process the training files of students who have passed all their exams and met all the necessary requirements on their training file.
I'm aware that the ICAEW website states that the minimum processing time is 12 weeks, but I know people that took 3 weeks from submission of training file to invitation to membership and know of people that took more than 12 weeks.
Also, would anyone have insights to what ICAEW does when they're processing the training file? What does it entail and are there any avenues to following up with ICAEW?
Thanks!

C. Crafting a compelling application:

  1. Personal statement/essay: Provide tips on brainstorming, drafting, and revising a strong personal statement that showcases the applicant's unique qualities, experiences, and aspirations.
  2. Recommendation letters: Offer advice on selecting appropriate recommenders, building relationships with teachers or mentors, and providing them with relevant information to write compelling letters of recommendation.
  3. Extracurricular activities: Emphasize the importance of quality over quantity, encouraging students to pursue activities that align with their interests and passions, showcase leadership and initiative, and demonstrate a commitment to their communities.
D. Demonstrating passion and fit:

  1. Researching institutions: Discuss the significance of understanding an institution's values, programs, and opportunities, and how this knowledge can be integrated into application materials.
  2. Campus visits and interviews: Highlight the benefits of visiting campuses or attending virtual information sessions and how it can help students gain a deeper understanding of the institution and make a positive impression during interviews.

Conclusion

The rise of test-optional admissions has ushered in a new era in the college application process, giving students greater flexibility and autonomy in presenting their qualifications. While the debate surrounding test-optional policies continues, it is evident that this shift has opened doors for students from diverse backgrounds, leveling the playing field and promoting a more holistic approach to evaluating applicants. Students now have the opportunity to showcase their strengths and potential through other aspects of their application, such as their academic achievements, extracurricular involvements, personal essays, and recommendation letters. However, it is essential for students to carefully consider their circumstances and make informed decisions regarding test submission. Navigating the test-optional landscape requires thoughtful self-reflection, strategic preparation, and effective communication with colleges. As the landscape of college admissions continues to evolve, students should stay informed, seek guidance from trusted mentors, and focus on presenting a comprehensive and authentic portrayal of themselves to secure acceptance to their desired universities. Ultimately, test-optional admissions policies have redefined the parameters of university acceptance, emphasizing the importance of a multifaceted evaluation process that looks beyond standardized test scores and encourages a more inclusive and equitable approach to higher education.

2023.06.07 10:59 Timely_Huckleberry97 (Part 30 of a series) The Retail Punishment in Clovis

(Part 30 of a series) The Retail Punishment in Clovis
Part 29 covered a lot of ground. This installment picks up with a few new points.
Also, I will try and outline the trouble that Clovis officers could find themselves in; ‘Nightmare on Flatiron Parkway’ coming to theaters near you!
(A) Equity Committee in place, any objections?!
It is now well established that the Equity Committee is an essential party to these proceedings. Only the OEC is capable of representing equity interests which are demonstrably being opposed by both the debtors and creditors.
Since the OEC opposition, Clovis has made numerous concessions and modifications. This clearly shows the need for adversarial proceedings against the debtor which have yielded results.
(B) Negative Ruca sale price
The debtors have made a crippling mistake by allowing Rubraca to be sold for negative dollars! This is something they cannot recover from, and puts the specter of fraud over the entire BK filing. Since they claim to have closed the sale they no longer have an avenue of somehow ‘adjusting’ the sale to take it into a Positive Ruca sale price.
There is an interesting angle here that ESTABLISHES fraud. Let me explain how.
The key question is about the timing of the decision to include Ruca inventory as part of the sale.
  1. After the auction: In this case, the bidder had put in a bid with no intent of getting inventory for free. So the company should charge for inventory considering that creditors are waiting for recovery. The company did not do so. It, of its own accord, chose to GIVE AWAY inventory for free. No, you cannot do so, when there are classes awaiting recovery. CLEAR FRAUD.
  2. Before the auction: If the company was planning to include inventory of $100 mn in the sale, then there should have been a corresponding bid minimum. Since that was not done, we are in a laughable scenario that the company is holding out a hundred dollar bill and singing like a carnival barker ‘Sixty, sixty, do I hear a sixty five, seventy, sold for seventy’. Really?? CLEAR FRAUD.
Sorry Clovis, your fraud has unraveled, and company officers will be paying a penalty and some going to jail.
(C) ODAC debacle
FDA had clearly given Clovis two options, EITHER wait for OS data OR go in front of the ODAC. The OS data option was completely infeasible since data would take two years to mature and Clovis did not have that kind of financial runway. So really, ODAC was the ONLY option.
An ODAC presentation would have been something to look forward to considering the stellar PFS data. The whole reason that Athena results were delayed two times was because PFS was so strong it was preventing the requisite event related data. Considering that other front-line drugs were approved on the basis of PFS, it is a given that there would have been strong physician enthusiasm for Ruca.
In the above context, not going for ODAC is completely indefensible, and Pat and other officers can be NAILED on this point alone. Note that Gillian was one of the founders and she appears to have had a difference leading her to exit prior to BK. She needs to be deposed and held squarely responsible for this, unless she turns approver and throws Pat under the bus.
(D) Forensic analysis of expenses since Apr 2022
In my opinion the BK plan started getting crystalized after the fourth and final rejection of the share count increase proposal. Pat then had two goals: run down cash as much as feasible, and prevent regulatory successes that would value the assets higher.
First, we now know that Alix partners was engaged in the July timeframe to explore multiple options. How is it then that in September they entered a sourcing agreement with Isotopia? If cash conservation was the goal, how can one explain the money, time and effort spent on agreements like Isotopia? Was it that Novartis talks were in progress and Clovis was trying to preferentially spend money on FAP?
Second, why were strong headcount reductions not put in effect? This is such a simple and obvious measure to reduce the cash burn and I want to see the written documents where the cost benefit of this was explored and this option discarded. Instead, we had new requisitions being posted!
The interesting point is that Clovis is now publishing monthly results. We see that despite a headcount reduction of a fifth, revenue has not had a corresponding fall! This is the inelastic demand that I have previously written about. We now have DOCUMENTED PROOF that early headcount reductions would have prevented a spiral towards insolvency.
I believe that a forensic analysis of the accelerated spend since July, and comparing it to the prior quarter spending will yield interesting results!
(E) Excuse me, but your goose is cooked
The company officers need to realize that the game is up. They can flutter and flap all they want but their goose is cooked. The biggest mistake they made was to underestimate the equity opposition, and now they are in a predicament that they cannot extricate themselves from. I have a poor opinion of the lack of strategic vision of the debtors counsel, what was that name again, Twinkly, Far, and Galloping?!
Pat thought of us as sheep, that he would come to us saying ‘Your money is all mine’! Well, that’s when we sheep turn feral, grow fangs, and get in the mood to leave bite marks that are life altering!
I had previously written that four company officers deserve punishment, but now have changed my view to ALL officers. Why should board members get a pass, being responsible for oversight? We need to go after the whole bunch, with the possible exception of one or two approvers who are willing to sing like a canary.
(F) Equity is in a position of strength
We shareholders need to understand that our motivations are above board and can be presented in court. The entities opposing us are stronger than us but they have a corrupt agenda that they cannot state publicly on the record.
Can company officers admit in court that their hatred for retail investors made them act opposite to their fiduciary duties? No they cannot.
Can BP like AstraZeneca or Pfizer dare to stand up in court and state they wanted to neuter the competition in the PARP space? No they cannot, because the DOJ antitrust division is listening and they will be dragged over the coals.
Can the creditors open up that they actually have large short positions so their actual interest is share cancellation more than the full recovery that they claim to want? No they cannot.
These parties entered into this corrupt undertaking thinking that they will pull levers behind the scenes and get away with the heist of the century. Well, sunlight is the best disinfectant. Now that the SEC and DOJ are fully involved, these behind the scene players will see the writing on the wall and gently melt into the hedges. The only party that will be left to take the full heat of our rage are the Clovis officers.
Considering the widespread fraud by Clovis officers, it is the Official Equity Committee that will be in the driver's seat going forward with the parallel and supporting effort from the DOJ and SEC. The OEC needs to closely guard the whistleblowers until the right opportunity. I’m looking forward to the DOJ Antitrust division becoming a party to the proceedings. We cannot have Biden’s moonshot cancer initiative on one hand, and on the other, a key oncology asset that promises to displace the SOC for Prostate (a cancer known for poor prognosis) to be rendered impotent (pun intended) in the hands of an insignificant overseas company.
(G) Two options for Clovis officers
Clovis officers need to realize that they cannot avoid the consequences of entering into bankruptcy fraud and the intent to eliminate equity. There is no getting around it. They need to figure out a way to minimize the punishment that is coming their way.
  1. Agree to a liquidation in Ch. 7
If Clovis requests the judge to turn it into a Ch. 7, and let the full company be put up for sale under court supervision, they may still be avoid the worst. There is a pent up investor anger that needs to be satisfied. If investors get a healthy share price, say $12, it would immediately reduce the severity of the remaining punishment. Heck, if the share price is good enough, they may even get the third party release that they so desperately want.
In this case, there is no financial impact to the officers. All that they are doing is allowing some BP to come in and give the proper valuation for the company assets.
  1. Dig in for a cage fight
If better sense does not prevail, the full investor anger will work its course out.
The first course of EC should be to prove BK fraud in front of Hon. Judge Stickles. Some people here automatically think the judge is on Clovis’ side. That may be incorrect. It is not lost on the judge that Equity Committee approvals are exceedingly rare. On top of that, the DOJ and SEC are fully engaged. Makes her wonder about the fire when there is so much smoke.
In the unlikely scenario that we do not prevail with fraud charges at this first level, there is the three member BAP bench to appeal to. The benefit of those proceedings will be that OEC will be represented from the get-go, and will be able to inform the bench about the seriousness of this case containing antitrust issues.
In parallel, a class-action can be started. There is a rich $50 mn. corpus that is available. I can imagine law firms falling over each other to get to a $20 mn payout to fully prosecute these crooks, including criminal charges. When there is a jury trial with everyday people like us who have lost our investments, that is when the full punishment will be given out.
If the fraud is proven within two years of the BK (more than enough time), the Ruca assets can also be clawed back and correctly sold in the market, making for even more recovery.
Make no mistake, if the company officers make it harder for us to corner them, our punishment will also be that much harder when we DO CORNER THEM. By the time we are done with them, they will feel like a chew-toy in a cage of Rottweilers.
I’m hoping that better sense will prevail, and the company officers will ‘choose wisely’. But I have a feeling they won’t. Bring it!!
SPPAAAAAARTTAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

2023.06.07 10:55 South-Juice961 The whole story of my wife (f24) and I(m23), help?

Tl;dr My still technically wife and I have been going through a messy separation, looking for insight listed at the end of the post. Fair warning it's a long one
Made 2 previous posts Me (M23) and wife (F24). This is kind of the whole of those 2 previous posts and all that has happened since
My wife and I originally went to school together and rekindled a friendship in 2021. We began dating on June 26th of that same year while I lived in Texas and her in Oklahoma. She had to kids, both from different partners. While we were friends she vented to me about how her previous partner left because he wasn't interested in being a parent. I was upfront to her that I was in a state where I was working on myself, mainly esteem wise both from a past partner and with my upbringing, and told her I did not want it to become her problem if we were together. At that time, we agreed to be communicative about our own hardships and to speak to each other so we could help each other through hard times.
We were together for about 3 months, during which I would make visits to Oklahoma to hang out with her and her kiddos, spend quality time with her, with them, and with all of us together as well. After this 3 months span, we thought things were going okay enough for me to move in with her. I moved in with her near the end of September 2021 and for a while we were very happy with one another. We were very openly intimate and basically honeymoon phasing still. Since her family helped her out beforehand with child care, and since we still needed it to both work, we moved in with her family in November 2021.
Around this time, we ended up finding out she had gotten pregnant. Her and I kept it between the two of us as she was unsure of her families reaction to it. Her and I were both working still during this time and in February 2022 was when we hit our first bump in the road.
Her and I had always been very open with our phones, and had shared passcodes and the like. In February 2022 she had been acting off, I thought due to her pregnancy she had of course wanted some space to herself. I ended up finding out by looking at her phone one night that she had been sending illicit images to someone on her snapchat. I confronted her about, and the first thing she tried to say was that they were old (they were not, because some of them as a scrolled up said October 2021, the previous year). After this I asked her to explain herself on it, to which she responded that the person was an old F buddy who had threatened to release her photos online if she didn't continue supplying him. I was unsure to about this response, and took some time to deliberate everything.
In my mind I could not just take my own emotions in to account, I had to consider her 2 step kids getting to know me as dad as well as my unborn child. She had given me to no reason to distrust her before that so I was willing to go forward with the relationship on the grounds that we be more open with one another. In the months that followed, she even showed improved resolve, and began showing more affection towards me once again. At times she was still down on herself and beating herself up over it, so I decided in April to show her I was committed to making things work and proposed to her. We got courthouse married in May of 2022.
Things continued on this way, in May 2022 I started a new better paying job and also her family decided to move to Texas, so we ended up paying them monthly to live in the house in Oklahoma. In June my wife went on maternity leave from her job, and we discussed her being a stay at home mother and me being the sole working party. We agreed it would work best so we wouldn't have to pay for child care.
Over the course of the rest of 2022, I ended up working more hours to make ends meet. At times, my wife's mother would speak with her and give her a hard time about not working. After she had these conversations with her mother I would reassure my wife that I would make sure everything was taken care of financially. Our baby was born in July of 2022.
In March 2023, I started a new job with the same company that paid almost twice per check what I had been making previously. I felt like financially, things were taking a turn and that it could be a big improvement in life quality for my wife and kiddos. However during this particular month I had an incident where my stress had overwhelmed me. It was like any other day where my wife handed me our baby as she was putting the 2 big kids to bed. The baby was teething and crying her head of, I had a lot of stress in apartment hunting, working related, etc burdening me and the whole situation overwhelmed me. I threw a bottle toward the wall, my wife came in hearing me throw it and tried to take the baby from me. In my flurry of emotions, I stiff armed her from me to keep her from taking the baby. A few hours later, I went downstairs to her and we spoke about it. I apologized and explained my sensory overload I was experiencing, but admitted it was no excuse for how I acted. I asked her how she was feeling, and she told me she was doing good that the incident had left her tired.
April 2023 is where everything now has fallen apart. I brought up a discussion to my wife because I had noticed that I had been messing up on my end by hanging out with gaming friends too much. I brought this conversation up to her and asked how she had felt about. This is when she outpoured a bunch of issues she had kept quiet on up until this point. She told me she felt like I had more fun gaming with my friends than hanging out with her and the kids, and she admitted to me that from the previous incident she was scared about my reaction at that time. Immediately upon her bringing these up, I tried to discuss with her a plan so I could work to make improvements. When I tried to communicate however, she said she didn't think we could fix things, and told me she wanted to separate. I was devastated because over the course of the relationship I was constantly adapting and improving to my best me for her and our kids and I felt like she was giving up on our marriage so easily. In the days following I worked on improving these things she addressed and we were working towards finding common ground
A few days after this conversation however, she got an incoming call from a person named "Papi" on her phone. When I tried to address it she tried telling me it was "an alarm". When I pushed the issue and told her what I saw she admitted to me that since mid April she had been talking to another man (who was also married). She said they started off talking as friends and complaining about their partners and it turned into flirtation. When I brought up blocking him, she said she didn't feel comfortable doing so, but later on claimed that she did block him since it was hurting me.
From then on we had discussions that ran in circles, I wanted to work for and fight for our marriage, and she said she wanted to be by herself and work on herself. We could not find common ground, and in a lot of conversations she would try to find a way out and said that the conversations for her were draining. Ultimately we both decided we were going to move to Texas, be separate and co parent as we worked on ourselves. We set boundaries regarding ourselves and the children and planned our move. One boundary I was very particular about was that I did not much care who she dated since we were going to be separate, but that if she dated the guy she emotionally cheated with that I wanted him in no way to be around our baby (I did not want this person, who to me was of very questionable moral character to be around my child). She agreed to me and even reiterated that she had blocked him.
In mid May, we both made our move to Texas. However, her mother was the owner of the house we had been staying at and had security cameras at the house connected to an app on her phone. Her mother had new about my wife's emotionally cheating and had shown me that after I had left the house that the man she cheated with showed up to help her move. And against my wishes, she brought him around our child and even had him carry our baby out of the house. Our plan was for her to drop my daughter off to me a few days after the move, but after seeing what happened I messaged her and asked if she could drop my daughter off to me that same night. She agreed.
During that night, she dropped her off to me and I then confronted her about what I saw. When she was planning the move, she has told me her cousin was helping her move. She tried to lie again and say she didn't know her cousin was going to bring him to help. I was baffled she was still trying to lie her way out. Currently, I only keep in contact with her to update her on the baby, send pictures, or to planned supervised visits to where I am currently staying.
She is currently staying with the man she cheated with. And this person even drops her off for her visits with my daughter. She claims to be sorry but her actions to me tell a different story. I had made mistakes but was willing to put in effort to fix them and she wanted nothing to do with it. I don't feel like my transgressions were bad enough to deserve how she reacted. Even in light of all this, she is trying to claim to be doing what's best for the kids, but is immediately introducing a new male figure into their life after I've been her step kids father for the past 2 years.
I want better insight on to why she might have handled things the way she did. All I feel now is anger at all the lies and betrayal and it makes it difficult to move forward with my self improvements. The only thing motivating me is my now 11 month old daughter. Even in spite of all that happened I don't wish I'll to my wife, but I feel like she has a serious lack of accountability or responsibility. I feel like her actions were very selfish to her own feelings, and that her cutting of communication with me and instead talking to another man rather than working on our marriage is a big issue on her part. I felt our marriage was very fixable yet she wanted to move on so quickly. And honestly I don't know what to believe from her anymore with all the lies she has told. 2023.06.07 10:39 M1730193 I feel sad about my life. What should I do?

Dear brother and sister, I hope you can spare some time to read my story and offer advice. I assure you it won't take more than 10 minutes.

I am a 28 year old man currently living in Jordan.

In 2012, I completed the tenth grade but made a regrettable decision to leave school. Being a teenager, I wasn't making the best choices. I started working in various places like stores, restaurants, and factories. When I returned home, I would play online games on my computer with other players. This continued until the end of 2014.

In February 2015, due to my addiction to online games, I became curious about game programming. I started exploring the field, including game and website programming. In 2017, I focused on learning Android application programming, which I continue to do till this day. I stopped playing games three years ago. I worked on a freelance platform for Arabic clients, developing Android applications and fixing customer app issues. I completed work for 47 clients, with 95% positive reviews, thanks to God.

In 2019, problems entered my life when I fell ill with perfectionism. You may ask what perfectionism is. You can find information about it on YouTube in Arabic and English.

Let me continue my story. In 2019, I fell ill with perfectionism. Whenever I tried to start a new programming project, I couldn't finish it because I wasn't satisfied with the code. I would delete the entire project and start again, hoping to write better code. But every time I failed, even though the code worked correctly, I felt it should be rewritten to appear cleaner than before.

In 2021, I closed my account on the freelance platform because I realized my perfectionism was causing significant problems. I knew I would receive negative reviews if I continued working in that state.

In 2022, I found an advertisement from a company seeking a programmer to develop an application. At first, I hesitated due to my perfectionism, fearing failure. However, I eventually contacted them and received the project. The deadline was two months.

While working on the application, I procrastinated as usual, searching for perfect ways to write the code. Unfortunately, I couldn't deliver the project on time, which caused problems with the company owner. I was threatened, and I had to rewrite the code without focusing on perfection, but rather on making it functional. I finally delivered the project after three months instead of two.

In 2023, I took a wrong path and had three illicit relationships with women who were paid for their services. The first relationship was in January 2023, the second during Ramadan, which was a grave mistake, and the third was a week ago.

I used up all the money I earned throughout the years on these women, and now I have no money left. I only have two Jordanian dinars in my pocket. I have no more money and I'm financially ruined.

Recently, I have been experiencing symptoms such as fever, nighttime hallucinations, muscle pain, and a sore throat. I am concerned that these could be potential indicators of a medical condition, including AIDS, which is causing me distress. Regrettably, I am unable to afford the cost of a medical test or even cover transportation expenses, which may amount to approximately 15 Jordanian dinars.

No one in my family or relatives knows about my problems. They only see me as a failure, even the closest ones. I suffer from severe depression, and I fear things may worsen. Maybe this is divine retribution?

I've been praying regularly since I was young, but without sincerity. Three days ago, I tried to humble myself in prayer and repent to God, but I feel like a hypocrite instead of being genuinely sincere. It feels as if my heart has died due to the many sins I've committed. I've tried desperately to repent sincerely, but to no avail.

I had hoped to work in my field and build a family with my future beloved wife in the Gulf or America. However, I'm now filled with despair. I'm at a loss for what to do, especially with the nightmare of AIDS haunting me.

My advice to you, my brother and sister, is to never follow the path of the devil. It only brings momentary pleasure followed by a lifetime of regret.

I kindly request the admin not to delete this post, as it would be the greatest favor they could do for me.

I kindly request that you provide respectful comment to ensure that this discussion is conducted in an elegant manner, without resorting to personal attacks or treating me as if I were a criminal. Thank you for your understanding.

2.Become a prehospital care operator

"My decision to be a pre-hospital operator was due to the fact that, as a result of a violent event, I had to have the need to know what to do in the event of such an event, since on that afternoon in October 2018, on my return home, I was attacked by unknown personnel with a firearm. Fire and when repelling the aggression, I realized that a person was injured, and with my minimal knowledge at that time, he gave me the guidelines to be able to attend to him, and from there arose the need to improve day by day in matters of security and prehospital care since it is an obligation that someone who is in the security field must complete their training.
After an attack and not knowing what to do in front of the injured and it was my decision to be a medical operator."

5.) Access NBA streaming platforms: Now that you’re virtually located in the United States, you can visit streaming platforms such as ESPN, ABC, or NBA League Pass to watch the NBA Finals live. These platforms typically require a subscription or may offer free trials, so make sure to choose the option that suits you best.

It’s important to note that using a VPN may be subject to terms and conditions set by the streaming platforms. However, NordVPN has a strong track record of providing reliable and secure access to geo-restricted content.
So, don’t let geographical restrictions dampen your NBA spirit. With NordVPN, you can cheer for your favorite teams and players as they battle it out in the NBA Finals, no matter where you reside. Grab your NordVPN subscription, connect to a U.S. server, and get ready to experience the excitement of live NBA action from anywhere in the world.

2023.06.07 09:38 huntthewind1971 What do you think? Did I see a ghost?

Not sure if this qualifies, but it scared the shit out of me when I was 16.
When I was 16, we lived next to this old abandoned two story house that had, at one time, been a boarding house or hotel. I had only ever seen one family move into that two story house in all the time we lived next to it. They stayed there a few months, but left rather suddenly. By the time of this event the house had been abandoned for years.
I had gone out to feed my dog, Rowdy, after dinner and was starting to get dark. Now normally Rowdy came running up to me as all good boys do. But this night he was stood at the fence growling towards the two story house. The hairs on the back of my neck stood on end. I spoke to Rowdy, he looked up at me and wagged his tail. Then he immediately positioned himself between me and the house next door and resumed his growling.
I looked towards the house, not really noticing anything at first. Then I looked up towards one of the second story windows. And there looking back at me was this tall thin figure staring at me. His face was pale and gaunt and his eyes were sunk in and glimmered red. For a moment I thought they blinked. His hair was long, white and straggly. This figure was dressed like someone straight out of the late 1800's. Think of how Kurt Russel was dressed in "Tombstone" and that would be very close.
Upon seeing this, I ran for it, vaulting over the fence and clamored into my home. I don't even remember opening the screen door. My dad took one look at me and I could see the concern on his face. I told him of what I had seen ( leaving out the part about the blinking red eyes, as I wasn't sure I had actually seen that or not ) and he immediately picked up the phone and called the cops.
It took a little while for the cops to show up, but when they did they took my statement and after saying it was probably just some kids or a vagrant they walked towards the house next door. Sometime later they returned to tell us that there were signs that the house had been broken into, but that there were no signs of anyone being there recently.
It was suggested that I, a 16 year old, had just imagined it or that it was a reflection of a passing car. As far as the adults were concerned, all was well.
It took a few days to muster up the courage but when I did, I went to have a look for myself. I simply had to prove to myself that I wasn't seeing things or hoped that I was. The front door was locked, but the backdoor was still ajar, but only just. It took some doing, but I managed to force it open. The bottom of the door scraped along the floor as I did so.
The floor was coated with a layer of dust and detritus, but I could make out footprints here and there where the cops had made their way through the house. The place smelled musty with a hint of mold and rat droppings.
In the corner of one of the front rooms, it looked like someone had been squatting in the house. An old camping lantern, a sleeping bag, some discarded clothing and some trash. But, you could easily tell that these items hadn't been used recently. The rest of the house proved empty save a few pieces of old furniture, lots of cobwebs and even more dust.
Following the footsteps upstairs, I found the room corresponding with the window where I had seen the gaunt figure. Immediately, every hair on my body pricked and I got an overwhelming sense of dread. A feeling that I should not be there. My fight or flight was in overdrive but couldn't figure out which way to go.
The door creaked as I pushed it open and that certainly didn't help my current state of mind. But I persevered. I grit my teeth and walked toward the window half expecting something to jump out at me, but nothing did. When I got to the window I stood there for a moment looking down into my own back yard. I could see my dog tossing his food bowl around and chase after it.
Across the way, I could see cars going over the railroad tracks and their brake lights lit up as they slowed down to cross the tracks. I thought to myself, maybe I did just see a reflection. The brake lights would certainly explain the red eyes I saw, but not the face. And certainly not the tall figure dressed like the late 1800's.
I had almost convinced myself that none of it had been real and was about to turn to leave when I saw; just for the merest sliver of a split second; in broad daylight ; an image of the man I had seen in the window. It was almost like I was looking in a mirror, except the face I saw wasn't my own. Had I blinked in that moment I would have missed it, but I hadn't blinked.
In a jolt, my fight or flight made up it's mind and I, as they say, vacated post haste.
This event triggered a series of serial nightmares, lasting several years. Not every night mind you, but every month or so I'd have a nightmare picking up where the last one left off.
And to this day I can still recall the image of that ghastly figure well enough to describe everything about him in perfect detail. Right down to the brownish paisley pattern of his vest.
Now dear reader, what do you think? Did I imagine it or do you think I might have seen something?

2023.06.07 09:18 AutoModerator Here’s Where To WATCH Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Online Free at Reddit

Sony Pictures! Here are options for downloading or watching Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse streaming the full movie online for free on 123movies & Reddit, including where to watch marvel's latest live-action adaptation movies at home. Is Spider-Verse 2 available to stream? Is watching Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse on Peacock, Disney Plus, HBO Max, Netflix or Amazon Prime? Yes, we have found an authentic streaming option/service.
Watch Now: Spider Man: Across the Spider Verse Movie Online
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be in theaters beginning June 2. If you're wondering how and where you can watch it yourself, take a look at the information below.

Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters the Spider Society, a team of Spider-People charged with protecting the Multiverse’s very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must set out on his own to save those he loves most. Anyone can wear the mask – it’s how you wear it that makes you a hero.

The much-anticipated Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is only a few weeks away, and fans can’t wait to see the new adventures of Miles Morales. Once the Sony Pictures-produced movie ends its theatrical run, it will come to the most popular streamers, including Netflix and Disney Plus. But when is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse coming to Netflix and Disney Plus? Here’s what you need to know.

'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse' features the return of Shameik Moore as Miles Morales and Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy. Just before the release of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, producers of the feature have announced a couple of other projects. Producer Amy Pascal has announced a forthcoming third installment titled Beyond the Spider-Verse expected to be released next year. That is not the only project announced.

Paint-on-glass, Realistic Cartoon-style to Japanese Manga, makers explore not a couple but way too many animation styles! Shameik Moore’s Miles, in a way, gets a Star-Lord-like treatment in which he beautifully balances his character arc without overstepping the broader scheme of things. Hailee Steinfeld’s Gwen finally gets a chance to narrate her side of things, and it mixes well with the ‘star-crossed’ relationship she’s currently sharing with Miles.

If you’re like just about everyone else on the planet who saw Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in 2018 and loved it, you’ve probably been waiting for the sequel. You won’t be waiting long, as Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is finally coming out in 2023, a full five years later. It’s been a long wait but by all indications the film is going to be a blast for fans of comic book movies, Miles Morales’ version of Spider-Man, and this new animated franchise featuring the iconic webslinger.

Modern cinema has seen the gap between theatrical and streaming releases shorten dramatically, begging the question of when Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will release online. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, streaming releases have been much closer to the theatrical release of films. While the mid-COVID marketing technique of releasing movies in theaters and on streaming services at the same time for an extra price is a thing of the past, the gap between the respective releases is still considerably shorter than in decades past.

While we currently don’t know the exact online release date for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, we do know the movie will be released in cinemas worldwide, including the US and UK, on June 2nd, 2023. We know where to watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse online, but do we also know when? We can guess once again, assuming it charts the same theater-to-streaming path as Into the Spider-Verse did in 2018 with two months between the theatrical release and its digital renting/buying services. You may be able to buy or rent the movie digitally as early as late July of this year, with a physical release roughly a month or so after that, if not sooner. This also means that you will probably be able to stream Spider-Man: Across on Netflix in early December 2023, as it took about six months from Into the Spider-Verse’s release before the movie landed on the streamer.

When Is the Release Date for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse?
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse was one of the many films to get hit by a delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, moving from its original date of April 8, 2022, to October 7, 2022. That's the date seen in the above trailer, but the film has since seen another significant delay since then. Now the film is officially set for release on June 2, 2023. Hopefully, we won't see another delay, but if it means getting a sequel that lives up to the sky-high heights of the original, we'll gladly wait.

Is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in Theaters?
Not only was Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse the subject of rave reviews, but it also pulled in some gargantuan levels of cash at the international box office, with a final tally that quadrupled the film's ninety-million dollar budget. With incredible success like that, it's only natural that Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse would also be taking advantage of a theatrical release. That is the case, as the upcoming film will be exclusively available in theaters when it premieres on June 2nd, 2023.

When is 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse' streaming?
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse The home distribution rights for Across the Spider-Verse are in a rather interesting place. In April 2021, it was reported that Sony Studios had signed a multiyear deal with both Netflix and Disney for shared streaming rights to Sony films coming out between 2022 and 2026. This deal includes Across the Spider-Verse as well as the third film in the series, Beyond the Spider-Verse, due out in March 2024.

As for releases like Across the Spider-Verse, the film will be available on Netflix with "first-pay-window-rights" for the first 18 months of its home media release. While it will not be streaming concurrently with its theatrical release, it will be available on Netflix following its theatrical run.

Some of the films are not currently available on the service because Sony has pre-existing partnerships with Starz, as that's where most of the absent films are available to stream. That is except for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which is instead only streaming on Fubo TV and FX Now.

For anyone else looking to watch the film as soon as possible, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be released in theaters on June 2.

How to Watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
At the moment, you can watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse at your local theater. But like most movies these days, it should hit a streaming website in the near future.

Like its predecessor, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is a flick produced by multimedia conglomerate Disney. What's more, the production studio owns a number of other famous franchises, like the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Star Wars. Titles made under these umbrellas have both hit Disney+ sometime after arriving at the box office. Fans may also know the original Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is currently available to stream on the site as well. So, if the 2023 version follows the same pattern, folks will likely get to see Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on Disney+ later this year too.

As for an exact release date for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, that's more complicated. Most movies produced by Disney often go to its streamer site within three months after debuting in theaters, like the most recent Marvel film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. If this is the case for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, it will probably drop in late August 2023 or sometime near Labor Day in early September.

When the time comes for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse to splash onto Disney+ though, make sure you're all prepared to watch it. If you don't have access yet, you can opt into a 30-day free trial before choosing a plan that start at $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year. After your account is all set, click on the title page on Disney+'s official website or the Disney+ app.

As you wait for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse to hit the streamer, why don't you watch the animated version and its sequel Spider-Man: into the Spider-Verse? Or if you want to immerse yourself in another live-action version, click on the 2019 ABC TV special Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Live!. Enjoy!

Where To Watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Online:
As of now, the only way to watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is to head out to a movie theater when it premieres on June 2, 2023. You can find a local showing on Fandango.

Watch Now: Spider-Verse (2023) Movie Online Free

Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait for it to become available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Amazon, Vudu, YouTube or Apple, or become available to stream on Disney+.

Is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse coming to Netflix?
Yes, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is coming to Netflix approximately in December 2023. In 2021, Sony and Netflix signed a five-year deal that gave the latter exclusive first-pay-window U.S. streaming rights for Sony Pictures titles after their theatrical and home entertainment windows. Fans can expect to watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on Netflix six months after the film’s theatrical release, thus in December 2023. The date seems reasonable considering that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse dropped on Netflix on June 26, 2019, six months after its U.S. release on December 14, 2018. The pay-one window usually begins about nine months after a film’s theatrical release, but it might start earlier in particular cases. This post will be updated once there is a 100% officially confirmed Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Netflix release date.

When Will Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse Be Available On Netflix?
Where will Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse stream specifically? Due to an ongoing deal between Netflix and Sony (remember that these movies are not produced by Disney), Across the Spider-Verse will see Netflix as the streaming home for the film when it finishes its theatrical run. It will no doubt make its way to Disney+ eventually, as Disney and Sony do have an agreement for Disney to include Sony’s Spider-Man content in their offerings, but that will at least be some time after Across the Spider-Verse has come out on Netflix.

In terms of which of the streaming giants Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be released on, Netflix will house the film upon its streaming debut. While again, Sony does not have its own dedicated streaming service, a deal was struck in 2021 between the studio and Netflix. The deal, stating that Netflix would stream Sony's films after theatrical release, was penned for 5 years meaning Across the Spider-Verse is part of the arrangement.

Is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse coming to Disney Plus?
Yes, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is also coming to Disney Plus approximately in 2025.

Once the pay-one window runs its time and Netflix’s exclusive rights expire, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be available on Disney Plus. The pay-one window might last as long as 18 months, which means it will be a while before Disney Plus subscribers can watch the much-anticipated sequel. Unlike in other countries, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse isn’t yet available on the Disney-owned streamer in the U.S.

While Sony's Spider-Man content is also streaming on Disney+, due to the collaborations between Sony and Marvel Studios in recent years, Across the Spider-Verse will be a Netflix release. While the deal struck between Marvel Studios and Sony may extend to this film, Disney+ is only allowed to begin streaming Sony's Spider-Man releases upon their release on Netflix. As a result, Netflix will be the first streaming service that Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be available on after its theatrical release.

Regarding when the film will be available on Netflix, the answer is less definitive. The first film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, began streaming six months after its theatrical release. Based on this, it is safe to assume Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will see a similar gap between its cinematic and streaming releases. Given the film's theatrical release of June 2, 2023, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will likely begin streaming on Netflix in December 2023.

Will Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Be On HBO Max?
No, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will not be on HBO Max since it’s not a Universal Pictures movie. Last year, the company released its films in theaters and on the streamer on the same day. However, they now allow a 45-day window between the theatrical release and the streaming release.

Is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Available On Hulu?
Viewers are saying that they want to view the new animation movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on Hulu. Unfortunately, this is not possible since Hulu currently does not offer any of the free episodes of this series streaming at this time. It will be exclusive to the MTV channel, which you get by subscribing to cable or satellite TV services. You will not be able to watch it on Hulu or any other free streaming service.

Balance Changes
Boomerang Monkey
This part has to be included along with the Lych Soul rework with Paragons which is finally making it in this update after necessary delays. As Boomerang Paragon’s knockback hits so many times so quickly, we need to make it more reasonable when applied to targets that aren’t immediately destroyed.
Bomb Shooter
MOAB Assassin fills a useful role of a pure long cooldown ‘single target assassination’ in the game, but when compared to something like First Strike it feels a little lacking that it is unable to carry damage through MOAB Layers
Tack Shooter
Blade Shooter has always struggled to find much value without MK or as a step to Maelstrom, so to give it build value on its own we feel like this should be a part of the base value on the upgrade.
Ice Monkey
Lowest tiers of ice monkey are far too effective for their cost against ceramics, with this scaling well all the way to round 100, we feel like ice duration against ceramics needs to be reduced to counter this but for now this reduction will only apply until T3.
Glue Gunner
The Bloon Solver’s rework has been very popular, however, we’d like to have a better lead up into the new mechanics by introducing this earlier at the tier 4 now.
Sniper Monkey
This will allow Cripple MOAB to take out regular MOAB layers in one shot until round 100; for such a slow attacking single target tower we feel this will help top path flex, even if mostly for show.
Monkey Buccaneer
Reworking Grape Shot crosspathing as it gains far too much crosspath value by T2 but then is lacking in purpose at higher tiers, double shot will only work as one extra grape however Destroyer will now apply its full attack rate buff to the grapes and Flagship will equip aspects of Grape Shot on the mini planes.
Monkey Ace
Spectre is shifting a little of the ceramic bonus around into basic all damage at the cost of reduced pierce, which should make up for lack of single target damage while also making the pierce crosspath more necessary when being used for cleanup focus.
Heli Pilot
Even with the map-range advantage, rotors are weak compared to any other constant AoE circle like this. Chinook feels like it’s near a place we are happy with now, however we want another tiny nudge on cost while keeping cash generation value the same. Pushing some higher values on the last Comanche Commander changes as the missile attack is effectively such a small portion of the tower’s total damage late game.
Mortar Monkey
As the Rapid Reload crosspath has actually fallen behind in value compared to Burny Stuff for top path Mortars we want to try a slight stun duration increase as this buffs the base path with a larger benefit to Rapid Reload mortars as a stalling option. Mortar consistency is lacking at x3x making it tough to spend on even though x4x is fairly good, so some of the T4 rate is shifting down to help out with this. As the camo property has grown quite weak and currently Signal Flare is considered the best decamo tool, we want to push back slightly on its cost and by reducing the blast radius of the decamo area while emphasizing crosspathing for effectiveness there.
Super Monkey
As Engineer sentries do this already, newly spawned Mini Avatars from temples will now by default match the target priority of the temple.
Ninja Monkey
We’re changing the Ninja Monkey Paragon’s focus as a fighter against camo, as we feel like a greater strength and tactical value against camo will be the full reveal of all camos rather than all camo removal.
Alchemist
Alchemist Transforming Tonic is in a weird spot with the transformation unable to attack through walls when the base alchemist is able to. Also with this, including a QoL fix for the T5 that currently prevents transformed towers from functioning with target priority.
Druid
While the tornado doesn't do anything to MOABs, it still spends itself on them which wastes a relatively long cooldown, so addressing this flaw. Avatar of wrath doubles the base attack speed before any scaling is applied, but this hasn’t ever applied to the 205 Lightning, so taking care of that as well. Housekeeping - even deep in the forest, it does actually make life better.
Spike Factory
We’ve heard the feedback, so Spiked Mines get a tweak to get more mines exploding but with less pierce on each, to overall increase quality of life in more frequent use but less wasted pierce. This will help out with some of the problems it has scaling into late game super ceramics.
Monkey Village
A minor QoL for cheap Monkeyopolis creation, we included a small base amount of cash production to the generation formula.
Engineer
The 005 crosspath fix in the last update left XXXL Trap slower than previously even if crosspathed to 205, so we are increasing that base 005 slightly to match up the 205 crosspath again so that it isn’t any slower than before.
Beast Handler
As our newest tower to be added to BTD6, we went over feedback for every path and made a large number of adjustments addressing a variety of points.
Gwendolin
Removing the stacking aspect of Gwendolin’s burn damage over time, but increasing the damage as she levels up so that it actually scales up in power now.
Adora
While they are complicated individuals, Adora can now fully appreciate the sacrifice of the newest Monkeys in the struggle against the Bloons.
Admiral Brickell
We aren’t happy with strats that start looking like exploits with frequent sell-replace loops.
Psi
Psi’s stalling out of the end of round is an odd mix of useful / annoying / out of control, so we are for now capping this to a 3 seconds of overtime stalling. Psi’s Psychic Blast ability also has weirdly low pierce for a long cooldown ability with no damage, we are increasing the base pierce greatly but it no longer increases in pierce at Lv7 since the extra pulse brings more pierce anyway.
Event / Boss / Relic / Knowledge
Looking Forward
Five months of 2023 done and dusted, which feels to us like it has zoomed by, perhaps because the Auckland office where the BTD6 team is based has only just reopened after the severe flooding at the end of January. All of Update 36 and the majority of Update 37 were completed while again working from home, but we’re very excited to have the office repairs done, the flood wall almost finished, and the ability to work shoulder to shoulder again on fun new things for the monkeyverse! Here’s the latest gaze into the crystal ball:

2023.06.07 09:13 TheQuarantinian SCO-NV to consider whether stalking is a protected first amendment activity

Reno, NV mayor Hillary Schieve took her car in for service and the mechanic alerted her that somebody had attached a GPS tracking device to her car. After an investigation it was alleged that it had been placed by private investigator David McNeely, who was working on behalf of an unidentified client. It later came to light that a second car, belonging to Ex-Washoe County Commissioner Vaugn Hartung also had a GPS tracker, and he joined the suit as well.
Schieve asked the judge to order the PI to reveal the name of his client, which the PI is refusing to do citing client/PI privilege. A judge did indeed order the name of the client to be released, and the order has been appealed to the state's supreme court.
John Doe's lawyers have argued that the First Amendment grants the right to anonymously investigate public officials.
"Anonymous pamphlets leaflets, brochures and even books have played an important role in the progress of mankind. Persecuted groups and sects from time to time throughout history have been able to criticize oppressive practices and laws either anonymously or not at all. ... Even the Federalist Papers, written in favor of the adoption of our Constitution, were published under fictitious names." - Lawyers Alina Shell and Jeffrey Barr, Las Vegas, representing John Doe.
According to Doe's lawyers, if he wasn't guaranteed anonymity, their client never would have paid somebody to attach GPS trackers to the cars of elected officials so he could stalk them.

2023.06.07 09:10 Jelativ You can recover, and there is hope.

Hi, I don't post or lurk here often because I don't see a reason to be reminded about agoraphobia unnecessarily, but I've come a long way since 10 months ago and I wanted to share my story.
Around August last year I was so badly unwell with panic disorder and agoraphobia that I was ready to admit myself into a psychiatric hospital, even if it meant 10 panic attacks on the way there. I was not eating or sleeping, and my nerves were so sensitised that even the sound of my girlfriend dropping a fork in the kitchen was enough to send me into shock. My mind was in a constant state of overwhelm that I couldn't listen to any music, watch any TV, and even the taste of food felt overstimulating to me. My girlfriend was spoonfeeding me and I was so lethargic from sleep deprivation that I couldn't even walk several metres to the bathroom, so I had to urinate in a bottle. Yeah, that's how bad I was.
I sought therapy rather quickly. I worked with a psychologist that specialised in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This worked far better for me than traditional CBT, as ACT is more based around accepting and "observing" your intrusive thoughts and using techniques to diffuse from them, rather than trying to argue with them and reframe them which is more what CBT is about.
The real work, however, came with exposure therapy. I started literally just by walking to my mailbox. It took me 2 weeks to walk 100 metres to the supermarket. However, slowly but surely, my work was paying off. After a series of months, I was starting to tick off many of my goals, namely to visit nearby gardens/parks, go to the cinema, take public transport again (obviously just starting with a single stop), etc.
I make all of this sound easy, but it was not. What I struggled with most was the feeling of being "trapped". I cannot even begin to describe the dread I felt when the bus or light rail I was on came to an unexpected stop. The sheer horror and adrenaline dumps were horrific. And yes, there were setbacks, but I quickly jumped back on the horse and got back out there. The setbacks, when they did happen, were brief.
And it was all worth it. I am now 10 months into recovery, and last weekend I travelled 3 hours by car with a friend to an isolated cabin in the middle of nowhere, with no reception, and I had a blast. I am now going on dates with people again, I'm taking public transport freely, and for the most part, I'm really just living a normal life. I still struggle a bit with the feeling of being "trapped" sometimes but it's getting a lot better. I can take trains for hours, and only feel uncomfortable if they stop, but I no longer go into a panic. I am certainly not fully recovered, but I am looking to plan my first plane trip soon.
Why am I telling you this? Not to brag, because I am not special. I just did the work, and you can too. There is nothing to say that you can't, no matter how long you've suffered. I wanted to share a few key points to help others recover:
Feel free to ask any questions. I am not some "anxiety guru" and again, I am not some special individual that was able to miraculously conquer this phobia. I just followed a graded set of steps, and was consistent. I am merely sharing the lessons I've learned from my own personal experience with agoraphobia, and what I've learned from the 15+ individual therapy sessions I've had over the course of the past 10 months. If you're ready to argue that I'm naive or ignorant because I haven't been housebound as long as you have, please don't bother. Time is irrelevant in the context of this phobia. It is not degenerative in that sense. You can get back out there regardless of how long you've been housebound. Lastly, there is no quick hack to recovering from this condition, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you lies.
So.. are you ready to spend another day inside, or will today be the day where you put your shoes on and make a start, even if it just means stepping a foot outside your door? I really hope it's the latter. You got this!
Helpful resources:
  1. Many people recommend The Anxious Truth. It's a fantastic podcast with a lot of valuable information. You don't necessarily need to start from episode 1, but definitely listen to the episodes about exposure and recovery from agoraphobia: https://theanxioustruth.com/subscribe-to-podcast/
  2. "The Happiness Trap" by Russ Harris is an excellent book that teaches coping mechanisms, techniques, and strategies that can be applied to anxiety and panic attacks. These will greatly augment your exposures, especially if you can't afford to seek therapy.
  3. A lot of people recommend "Calm and Hope for Your Nerves" by Claire Weekes. I've read it, and it's not bad, but a little bit dated. If you're going to read anything, "The Happiness Trap" will benefit you far more.
  4. This agoraphobia recovery guide has some great information and explains how to create a fear ladder: https://www.anxietyuk.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/overcoming-agoraphobia-lovell-1999.pdf
  5. A write up on what exposure therapy is and why it works: https://www.apa.org/ptsd-guideline/patients-and-families/exposure-therapy
And as a helpful reminder, here's some stories from other individuals that started to see the light at the end of the tunnel:
And many other success stories:
